Working with Kevin to buy my home was without a doubt perfect. I had had a couple of other realtors…read moreprior to Kevin and the experience was truly night and day. Kevin is knowledgeable and persistent and it showed by his work. He crawled under houses and went up in attics to really check out the property. This was critical to me as a first-time home buyer, without his knowledge and experience I would have likely been bamboozled into purchasing a house with lots of flaws I or a standard realtor would not find. To pair with his experience and dedication Kevin and his team understood exactly what I was looking for and were able to find an amazing option for me that checked all my boxes within my price range. They went out of their way to understand what I wanted and made it a reality. After I had an offer on a house his team was able to connect me with a lender, title company, and home inspector. Kevin even managed to secure me a new coffee table and side table for my living room, for free! Ultimately, I believe the most important trait about Kevin is I could trust him. At no point did I feel pressured to purchase and he was comfortable with my pace. Kevin was able to explain in layman's terms to me what he was looking at and was able to steer me away from properties that would not have been a good fit for me. By the end of my time working with Kevin, he had become a friend to me. Because of this, I will be using him again when the time comes!

Excellent advice and guidance through selling process. Tim is an excellent realtor and made the…read morehouse selling process as straightforward and successful as possible. He helped us buy and sell, but this review is focused on the sale of our house. This was our first time selling a house, and we were dreading the process, especially the preparations and the evaluation of (hopefully) multiple offers. Once we started the sale process, Tim walked us through all the what-if scenarios of the entire process, including prep, pre-inspection, listing, and talking through the key details that we'd look for in each offer. He suggested that we do a pre-inspection of the house, which initially seemed odd, but after discussing it a bit we thought it was a good idea. And it turns out it was a great idea, as it really enabled buyers to have confidence in the quality and lack-of-surprises in the home, enabling them to write higher offers and/or waive their inspection period. Our house received multiple offers above list price, including some with waived inspections, and we believe that was due to Tim's great suggestion to do a pre-inspection. Overall we had a good time working with Tim, he was very professional and is a reliable communicator.

Detail Oriented and Long Term Mindset…read more Tim is the most wonderful realtor to work with. He is trustworthy, has expertise, and was looking out for us throughout the process!!! My partner and I are first time homebuyers, and were also living out of state and across the country when we first contacted Tim. We chose him because he was very good with technology that allowed us to look while not physically present. Tim continued to impress with his virtual home review videos and his expert eye to see the costly flaws in a house. He was always available and eager to help! He also helped us through complex circumstances of home buying. There were a few external mishaps and Tim helped us pivot and come up with a strategy for next steps. We extended multiple offers and he made sure we weren't overpaying for anything through back and forth bartering. Some sellers didn't want to work with us or convey the full details of the house and he cut through the unwritten rules of real estate and held other realtors accountable. Tim was very knowledgeable from a contracting perspective too. He had estimated costs for repairs and a great eye to spot flaws in any house. He has a contact list for every repair under the sun and was able to get quotes quickly during the inspection period. Which saved us after a house came back with a terrible inspection! Our home buying process was complex since we initially wanted an investment property then transitioned to making it a primary residence. Tim was very patient with us. I never felt pressure to buy a house I didn't like, or extend an offer higher than I felt comfortable with. He was on our side for the 10 months we spent looking. He also responded very quickly and we were able to extend offers on a quick turnaround which is very important. We got a house we love and we will continue to use Tim for EVERYTHING real estate related!!!

We cannot begin to express just how happy we've been with Dan and Flamingo Group. Dan went ABOVE AND BEYOND in every way he could to ensure we found what we wanted, were informed from start to finish about the process and updates, and that we closed within 1 day of our scheduled date, even though we had to go through 2 appraisals and MANY hiccups with our lender. Dan's communication is phenomenal, something we found to be one of the most important qualities (from all parties) when buying a home. He helped us out even when we considered buying out of state where he wasn't licensed. He found us a realtor in that state and made himself available when we had questions, even though he had no obligation to do so. He even offered to track down a reputable home inspector if our offer was accepted! Dan truly cares about his clients and loves his job, something hard to find in a grueling industry with long, and often late, hours. It was refreshing to meet a realtor so invested in finding us the perfect first home and committed to working with us throughout each step of the process, versus someone only in it for the paycheck. We are so glad we ended up back in MN working with Dan and Flamingo Group and HIGHLY recommend them!
