I signed up with "The Diabetic Coach", Dr. Brian Mowll on October 19th, 2015, and I paid a deposit of $399.00 towards his fee of $2,500.00. I spent 3 full days trying to get answers to my questions and concerns by phone and e-mails with no response. I called and cancelled his services on October 22nd, 2015, 3 days later. Dr. Mowll told me himself that I could cancel anytime in the first 30 days to get a refund. Now he tells me that the $399.00 deposit is not refundable. There is nothing about the deposit being "Non-refundable" on his web site, or his paperwork.
It is now November 9th and Dr. Mowll says he needs to hold back at least $150.00, so he can pay his staff to "set up my file", and that it tales at least 30 days to "process" any refunds. His staff does not answer his office phone, or return phone calls. What kind of business doesn't answer their phone, (with 3 or 4 people working there), and they do not call you back when you leave a message? I called at 6:30 PM and a woman, JoAnne, answered, but we were "mysteriously" cut off for some reason (?) She did not call me back, but sent me an e-mail the next afternoon. They must be "very" busy!
I received some paperwork from his office to fill out, that I had already filled out and sent in "before" I paid my deposit. The right hand doesn't know, or understand, what the left hand is doing in his office! I have received e-mails from 3 different people in Dr. Mowll's office in the last 30 days, but they are all so busy, they cannot answer the phone during the day!
Be very careful dealing with Dr. Mowll, he has a habit of saying one thing to get your deposit money in hand, and then the story is completely different if you try to cancel. I cannot recommend Dr. Mowll to anyone under any condition.
