I am currently in month 3 of wearing clear retainers (off brand Invisalign) here at the dentistry. I have worn 7 trays for 2 weeks each so far. The process through the first 7 trays was I show up to the office and they hand me my next pair of trays to wear, usually giving me 2 or 3 at a time. Ive been wearing them consistently and doing my part, so when I went into the office on June 16th, I was expecting to receive at least my 8th, 9th, and possibly 10th set of trays. They didn't give any trays and instead asked if I wanted to continue wearing the trays, I was shocked why they asked that question because my teeth obviously weren't shifted to be straight yet. So I told the office I wanted to continue. They then said they had to order the next set of trays, which I was already shocked by, since I went into the office that day, for the purpose of picking up the next set of trays, it should've already been ordered weeks before. It was Thursday (June 16th) and I told them I had plans to go to europe with family next week and said can I get them expedited so they can get to me early next week. They didn't say they can expedite it to me. So I was patient, I called them a week later on Thursday (June 23). Then they said it may be 2 to 3 weeks, blaming the retainers company. I explained to them that my family was now in Europe but I was still here waiting for the retainers. Now we are on Tuesday (June 28), I went into the office and now I'm being told there is no timetable on when the retainer will be coming, no shipment date, no communication. So I put off almost 2 weeks of a family vacation just to hear them tell me they have no clue when the retainer will be in when they could have told me that original Thursday on June 16th. I asked again if they can expedite it to me and now they said they can if I go to Europe, but when I asked originally they didn't say they would. I am super disappointed in the service and extreme lack of communication that cost me the majority of a trip with family because they couldn't be straight with me from the get to. I was never reached out to once to be given an update, I had to call every single time even though they told me they would call me back with an update. They led me to believe I would get them back way sooner and now we are at 2 weeks of waiting and no timetable of when I will get my next pair of retainers. I've also been wearing the same retainer for 3 and a half weeks and it's broken into 3 pieces now and we can't do anything. If this review is updated to higher stars, it means that the service was improved after, if not, this review stays the same. read more

Not sure what even to call this place... first time patient and scheduled a dental cleaning came for my scheduled appointment and it was never made. I called earlier in the day to confirm and they didn't answer their phone(that should have been a warning sign )I do not recommend this dental office. My first initial visit with the doctor was great but this lapse on their part is unacceptable. They Couldn't even accommodate me same day when it was their fault. Never seen Such bad customer service ever. read more

I have been more than pleased with Dr. Novak. I went to him the first time for a cleaning. I had a very short wait for my appointment and found both the Dr. and his staff to be easy to work with. Recently I started having pain in my mouth and went back again (I knew from previous DDS's that I was due for some more extensive work). Dr. Novak checked and made some very sound recommendations for my treatment. I worked with Wendy to schedule my needed work with a specialist. She was friendly and more than helpful. Dr. Novak and his staff are amazing. Wendy the receptionist is very polite and professional. I filled out the forms and was promptly called in to see Dr. Novak. Doctor was very courteous as well as professional. I had a loose dental implant and doctor explained the procedure to make repairs. Doctor was very efficient and has very gentle hands. The service is fast as well as efficient. I wish I could give these amazing people 10 stars as they really earned them. Do yourself a favor and visit this dental office! read more

There's a reason I drive 40 miles to Dr. Novak's office: First class care. I just had a crown replaced, and not only was it all done painlessly, but now they have technology to fabricate the permanent replacement on site. That saves me a second 80-mile round trip, plus the time I save getting it all done in one visit. That's great, but the main thing is the quality of the work and the confidence I have in it. That is worth a great deal. So I have a great new tooth with very little bother. If I could rate this practice 10 stars I would. read more

If you have insurance, be sure to check your "Explanation of Benefits (EOB)" against Novak's billings. My personal experience is that Dr. Novak cheated me out of over $100 ... probably more, but I didn't have the energy to research. Makes sense why he was so vague on the work I needed to have done. Wendy is the happy-pappy Receptionist there to make you think they're friendly and honest. My new dentist is great and now I am careful to check my insurance statements. Best dentist ive ever been to in my entire life!! This was my second time there, his hygenist, (i cant remember her name but shes blonde) is so gentle she was an awesome cleaning experience.
