We began at the design center with Chelby to pick out all of our materials, and when we couldn't find what we wanted for our backsplash, Chelby spent an extensive amount of time researching and scouting out the perfect tile. She also found us the perfect, gigantic sink that we wanted. Throughout the construction process, we had a couple of hiccups, including winter weather delays, but Kevin handled everything personally and professionally. He built an amazing custom cabinet for around our refrigerator, and he spent a lot of time and effort to make sure it matched our existing cabinets. It is extremely well built and beautiful at the same time. Every small, minute detail was paid attention to, and the finished product is more than we could have hoped for. Kevin and his entire crew were professional, attentive, courteous, friendly, and accommodating. Most importantly, they are truly knowledgeable in their craft. We will certainly be looking to them for future projects in our home.

I have done all the work in my house over the last 25 years, but decided the effort and skill to remodel a kitchen was the job of a pro. Turning everything over to someone else was not an easy decision. However, it worked out far better than we had ever envisioned. After getting five quotes, and speaking with five contractors, we chose Steve Hopps and "Old School." Steve showed genuine interest in making our kitchen beautiful and unique. While not the least or most expensive, Steve seemed to offer something none of the other contractors offered: professional craftsmanship and a concern to get it exactly as we dreamed it would be. Our choice proved to be perfect. In every step of the way, Steve was on target. When unforeseen issues turned up, Steve suggested solutions that were right on target. He worked closely with out cabinet company, the electrician, plumber, and flooring people. He also had a hand in all of these aspects to keep the work flowing smoothly. He worked quickly and efficiently. He explained what he was doing, and his workmanship is not just professional, but the work of a true craftsman. When tiling the backsplash, he even rotated tiles placing some in the best place for a better look and flow. Only an artist, a person with a deep love of perfection would do this. Steve Hopps did all of this for us. I would highly recommend Old World Remodeling to any one. Quality, affordability, craftsmanship, personability, and results are all 10s. Choosing Old School Remodeling was the best decision we have ever made concerning our home. When it is time to do the bathrooms, Steve will be doing them, no questions asked!!!! One can do no better than using this company for any remodeling in his house.

Two words: Top Notch! Valley Elegance is as best as best can be. Carolyn followed my design…read morethoughts, and then suggested a design I never would have thought of that actually increased the kitchen space without major plumbing or gas line changes. A simple move of the fridge to the adjacent wall, coupled with tearing down an existing wall, made all the difference. Additionally, she has a keen eye with patterns and color. I followed her recommendations whole-heartedly; that's how much I trusted Carolyn's expertise. Kurt and his contracting staff were nothing short of stellar. They took pride in their work, and it definitely showed. An example: the folks who installed the countertop did not install it to Kurt's exacting standards. He had them come back and reinstall it so that it met his standard of quality. High-quality workmanship like this is a rarity, and it's good to know that it still exists. Look, a kitchen renovation is an investment that should last, as long as the quality and workmanship are there. There's no other place to start with than Valley Elegance! Cosmo Formichelli
