Personal relationship with the listing agent caused her to become un-neutral to the transaction and was rude to me and chose not to have any communication with me and instead went directly with my client (the buyer). 2. Took an unprofessional stance by choosing to take a side with her friend the listing agent so much so that when I called her for the first time - I was met with an extremely rude, unprofessional, bashing, and condescending voice over the phone. Had NEVER met her in my life previous to this so it was very unexpected. 3.Not copying me on any of the email communications 4. She aided in the delay for my clients to close since she is friends with the listing agent, and was reaching out to my client to agree to allowing the sellers staying there with no lease back docs and for zero dollars per day. 5. She asked my client if I was going to be there at the closing and when my clients daughter responded no, she answered with a sly remark "I figured" 6. She made the buyer side wait to sign with the excuse that she has another closing happening at that time. (My clients were waiting in the car for the sellers to sign since this was a hostile situation caused by their listing agent Sondra Grimes. Sondra neglected to draft a leaseback so there was no contract in place to secure her clients had somewhere to stay safely after we closed. Due to her neglect- she argued back and forth with me involving my broker and her broker trying to get her way so that she did not have to admit her neglect and inability to serve and protect her clients. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS JUST KRISTI -- THE OTHER STAFF THERE THAT ANSWERED THE PHONE WERE PROFESSIONAL WHEN ANSWERING THE PHONE. Seeing that they have a 3.5 rating tells me I am not wrong in noting the unprofessionalism by that woman and place overall. I wish I had a positive thing to say because I would rather elevate a business not have to be writing a bad review. You have been warned .

They were not friendly nor helpful when we were trying to sell our condo…read more My husband was terminally ill and I notified them as such and they had no compassion and were so cold (Brenda and Joyce). I gave them a Power of attorney and a copy of my husband's Will while he was still alive. They didn't care. Then three days after he passed they sent a refund check in his name. I asked Joyce if she would redo the $ 50.00 check in my name since my husband had passed. She said she had to speak with Brenda and get back to me. I did not hear back so I called her. She informed me that Brenda said I had to go to probate to get the check in my name. Then a few days later I received another check for $50.00 but it said To the Estate of my husband. That wasn't helping me. So then my court date came and I went to probate. That same day I sent them the certified document from the court and to date, April 16, 2024 they still have not reimbursed me the refund check. I've had to file a complaint with BBB because it's the principal. They have no sympathy for me as a widow. I guess the company is so bad off financially they need to steal the $50.00 refund check.

Additionally, I found an error on the closing document the day before and communicated it. The error was not fixed by closing. Did not walk away with the excitement of buying a home. Don't compromise because they don't let get a bigger apt once you move in, that's where you stay. Doesn't make sense to me, but that how they do it. I have the efficiency without the loft. I like it but wish I had gone for the 1 bedroom.

    I currently live at Shadow Brook Apartments. I renewed my lease after living here a year and I…read morereally enjoy it. The grounds are well maintained, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and quick to respond. The structure of Shadow Brook is a non profit and the apartments are leased for ranges, based on your income (though it IS NOT section 8 housing). They offer efficiencies on up, and are usually on a wait list. They only show apartments on Fridays and do not always have one to show each Friday, though they do have a photograph album of model apartments and floor plans. Initially I was nervous to rent an apartment without seeing the unit first, but I couldn't be happier. With the option I chose (the loft style 1 bedroom) I have plenty of space and am able to live on my own affordably ($490 a month rent). Many of my friends and classmates pay nearly double to live, in many cases, a worse complex. When I moved to Arlington and told people I live at Shadow Brook I usually got an odd look, and some informed me that it used to be bad, but that was before Foundation Communities bought it a couple of years ago. Today, I have never felt unsafe nor have I worried about being ripped off or felt like my neighbors were shady. Upon my renewal they cleaned my carpet for free, they offer residual pest control and special request pest control visits each Wednesday (at no additional charge, without limits) and they use ABC Pest and Lawn. In the back of the complex is a boys and girls club and at tax season United Way sets up and helps you file your taxes for free. At least once a month they have a "produce day" where fresh produce can be bought at a good cost in the front of the building. Its close to UTA (actually a shorter bike ride for me than a drive due to the traffic on Cooper) and well located. I will renew again next year if it continues to be the wonderful property I have enjoyed.

My property had been…read moresitting vacant with very little activity, and after switching to Westrom, they secured a qualified 2-year tenant in about ONE WEEK, at a HIGHER rent than I previously had. I would never have thought I could get that number. I was absolutely blown away. Jon Westrom, the owner, even met me on a Sunday to walk through the property and talk strategy. That level of dedication is rare. His entire team works with real fire, fast, motivated, and incredibly effective. They communicate clearly, take action immediately, and truly go above and beyond. I'm beyond impressed and extremely grateful. If you're looking for the best property management company in DFW, Westrom Group is it. Highly, highly recommend.

The back spicket is broken and you can't connect a hose to it plus it's coming out of the siding. My fence is rotting to death. We don't use the pool anymore because adults aren't allowed to have fun. Ridiculous. I'm not talking be inappropriate. We should be able to bring a noodle? As a renter I pay for all of this. We pay over $2200 a month for 1600 square feet and that includes the garage. They care more about the land lord than the tenants. When the lease is up we are out. I recommend everyone do research before you rent. Rent is always negotiatable if you're dealing with honest people! I will not attack anyone 1 person. I feel that both renter and landlord should be happy not just 1 sided. Jon I have discussed these problems with you months ago and I texted you today around 11:50am and it's 5:00pm. You are the one who made the rules and said that the privacy fence is a privilege and your office says it too. In fact you have it in your hand book. I respect honest people. You aren't being honest. This relationship will end on the last date of the lease and I will take care of everything you need from me to get out of here.
