Extremely Disappointing Property Management Experience…read more Anne Berman is extremely unprofessional and rude. Communication with the front office is practically nonexistent. Every time you call, you get transferred to voicemail and never receive a callback. When I moved in, the washer was not working for the first three weeks, and I had to fight just to receive some form of compensation. I also requested that the areas underneath the washer, dryer, and stove be cleaned because they were absolutely filthy. Instead of addressing the issue, management tried to blame me, despite the fact that I had only lived there for three weeks. To make matters worse, I signed move-out paperwork stating that my security deposit and an itemized statement of any deductions would be provided within 21 days of moving out. That deadline has passed, and I still have not received what was promised. During my 10 months living there, the property manager changed three times. The lack of communication between management was obvious, as the previous property manager failed to communicate important move-out information to the new manager. As a result, tenants are left dealing with the consequences of management's disorganization and lack of accountability. Overall, this has been an incredibly frustrating experience. Between the unprofessional treatment, poor communication, unresolved maintenance issues, and mishandling of the move-out process, I would not recommend renting from this property. Tenants deserve respectful treatment, timely responses, and management that follows through on its written commitments. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.
