They also had great communication and respect for and from their crew, keeping the construction moving smoothly. From the…read morefirst time meeting with Fabiola and Cesar when getting the estimate/quote up until the project was completed... it was such a smooth and stress free experience. A kitchen and living room renovation has been in discussion for some time and it was just a matter of finding the right company for the job. We've had some eh experiences with prior contractors with projects at the house so it left an impression that kept us hesitant to look. This was not the case with Conber. During the estimate they gave their suggestion as to what would work as far as what my wife was envisioning. They were very organized from the start. Taking measurements, writing notes, really going in depth as far as the project was concerned. Fabiola and Cesar answers all our questions and suggested what would work and what wouldn't and approximately how long it would take. We've told them our previous experience where the time took so much longer for whet was actually done. They said our renovation would be done it approx 6 weeks. Our previous renovation that was completed took 6 months and it was much smaller than the task we presented to Conber ! So you better believe we wanted to hire Fabiola and Cesar's company . They got back to us with the quote very quick and then we went from there. Fast forward to start of demolition.. The staff that Conber had working were so good! The timeliness, organization, and cleanliness of the job were on point! They said they'll be there at a certain time, they were there way before said time. They kept the demo mess where it belonged and it didn't find its way into places it didn't need to be. The next step after the demolition was no different. They continued to be organized and efficient and always showed up in a timely fashion. We appreciated the fact that we knew what time to expect them and what time their end of day was. And it was always consistent unless we were notified. Which is a huge plus to me. Another game changer was the fact that either Fabiola or Cesar would show up in the morning and at end of the working day to check on progress. That showed me that the project was just as important to them as it was to us. They also were just a phone call or text away so reaching them was never an issue. Don't want the review to be much longer than it is already but the end product was nothing short of amazing. They gave a new life to the house. Everyone is so happy with the finished product. The only bad part of it all is that we won't be seeing Fabiola, Cesar, and the crew daily, it was something my daughter got used to. To sum it all up we are glad we went chose Comber and we will not hesitate to reach out to them again for future projects. We HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for home projects. Ok, these guys are the BOMB! I had a broken window, the slider, that needed to be replaced. I…read morecalled for an estimate and it was easily given over the phone, although the woman's accent was a bit tough to decipher. I had asked if they could send someone out the same day, but since I was a little further (I live in South Pas and they are deep in LA near USC/Coliseum) and because it was the slider, they recommended I bring the window in and that it would be easy and really inexpensive. Well, she was RIGHT! When I got there with the window, she simply looked at it and said, ok, about 20-25 minutes and it would be ready. In all actuality, it was more like 15 minutes and price I was quoted over the phone was SIGNIFICANTLY LESS since I had brought it in myself! I literally stopped for a second, looked at my fiance, shook my head and said "can you say that again?" Because of her accent, I thought I misheard her...nope, my ears weren't deceiving me! I was seriously expecting to pay anywhere from $150 - 300 as quoted from other places with the same window of it's size. Let me just tell you...I was amazed when she said the price was under $50!!! A couple things to consider first before driving down to the shop. A) It's not in the best of neighborhoods, so if you have a fear of low income areas and drive a fancy car, you'd best use the mobile service. B) They accept cash or checks ONLY. Luckily I had some cash on me, but when asked if there was an ATM around (when I thought the price was gonna be what was quoted over the phone), I was told there is one in the store next door to the glass shop that charges a $6.00 service fee. Yikes! So if you are in need of a quick window fix, with fast and friendly service, and is CHEAP...then Home Window Express is your place! Hands down, I will use them again and again!

I've called and texted Jose over 100 times and he barely responds, over promises and never delivers. He comes out and does this song and dance about how the color doesn't match and never comes back for months. I'm over reaching out to him. I'm very disappointed in his work ethic.

Then after asking for further explanation he says...I doubt that they'll be out this month at all. I assume I don't fit their ideal client avatar so I'll be moving along.
