A really interesting museum which represents the social history of Nottingham. It's mostly Victorian and you get to see inside a childs bedroom and look though the kitchen cupboards. There is a little lane of shops from the 1920's including a chemist, doctors and grocery shop. Also a gallery which shows the history from the local area, not being from Nottingham originally I found this really interesting and insightful. Entry is free to Nottingham residents or £3.50 for an adult if you're not and tickets are valid for a week. Literally a walk down memory lane and a good way to kill a few hours for free. (I think there are also some air raid shelters used in the second world war) read more
