This is the only way to your SD breweries! After my second tour with Brew Hop, I figured it was time to write a review. Both times we were lucky enough to have Sara as our tour guide. She is friendly, knowledgeable, very accommodating and super cool! Both times we have toured three breweries, and we had amazing times. I would recommend Brew Hop for anyone who wants a relaxed, stress-free and easy day of beer tasting. Don't risk driving - have Brew Hop drive you around!

If you're looking for great beer, good peoples, lots of local knowledge, and good times, than Brew Hop is your final destination. When we were setting everything up, Summer, the co-owner, was extremely responsive to my anxiety driven emails and calls. She picked us up, drove us around, gave us a tour, was very knowledgable about beer (both in SD and around the country), and even threw an audible in the last minute to take us to a different brewer than we had originally planned on. My friends and I had a great time and would recommend to all individuals, group, and parties 21+.

We have been on two tours with Brew Hop and had a blast both times. Every brewery we have been to has been unique and we have enjoyed them all. I will highly recommend to anyone that enjoys beer to go on a Brew Hop. The first time we had the stretch 300 limo and the second was the Hummer. Maybe next time we will have to do the party bus. Thanks for the awesome time and if anyone has any hint of a desire to go you will not be disappointed. Thanks again!

This is my first Yelp review, and have no intentions of making any others any time soon, but I promised that I would leave one and it really is very well deserved. If you're having any trepidations over the price, believe me when I say that this company is worth every cent. Even before I even booked anything, Summer went above and beyond with helping me plan the perfect tour. She listened to what my girlfriend and I liked, and was able to either recommend or steer us away from different breweries based on our preferences in taste. She was not only very knowledgeable in the ways of beer, but was also obviously well versed in the area which she showed by recommending we not go to a certain brewery on the day we were planning because of a Baseball game nearby that would overcrowd the place. Tony, our tour guide for the day, picked us up right from our motel which was a huge plus. The ride was a black Lincoln Navigator which was comfy, spacious, and in pristine condition. We ended up choosing to go to The Lost Abbey, Ballast Point, and Alesmith, which I won't go to in much detail in of themselves because these companies aren't reflections of the company that this review is about, but I will say that I still thoroughly enjoyed all three of them and they also get my recommendations. Regardless, Tony was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and did an excellent job of feeling like a good friend as he explained both the history of the breweries and the specifics of every beer we tried without ever becoming uninteresting. He even stopped at a Carl's Jr. at one point at my request. Great guy. Brew Hop obviously takes great pride in itself which shines through in the amazing service you'll receive from its knowledgeable and over the top friendly employees. I was a little concerned over the price at first myself but no other company that I researched gives the type of private and intimate tours that they do. I would definitely do it all over again and hope to have another amazing experience with them in the future. Keep up the great work guys. P.S. Sorry for the month late review but I was quite drunk immediately following the tour and it kind of fell to the wayside but I promised Tony a shining review...so here ya go!

We had a fantastic time with Summer!! She was so knowledgable and friendly. We HIGHLY recommend these tours.

We were picked up at our hotel, all 28 of us climbed into two trucks and drove to our first destination Ballast Brewery. They have an amazing selection of beers to taste. Our Beer Guides were awesome. They shared their vast beer knowledge at the next brewery Saint Archer. Great beer there too! The truck rides were fun as they were full of beer and water. We hooked up our own music to listen to 80s tunes. (I'm 50 remember? :p ) Finally we got to Duckfoot Brewery where my gluten free brother could have some beer as well! Everyone could join in on this tour! Something for everyone! (They had wine at Ballast too) The catered bbq food was SO good. Snarfed that down with some great beer. Hotshots Brewery Tours is amazing. They made my Birthday pretty epic. The family and friends will be talking about it for awhile! They all want to go again. Im like YES..but you're all paying for it this time :p Nick and Canyon were beyond awesome (sorry if I spelled your name wrong :/ ) Paul is probably looking forward to not receiving anymore of my frantic emails..:p You guys did a fantastic job. A million stars!!!!

The old school firetruck was a pretty sweet ride! There was plenty of beer and water inside for us to begin the journey. You could also hook up your phone to the sound system and play your own music. Nick brought us to three breweries (Ballast Point, St. Archer's, & Mission) and at each one he would give us a little insight on the history of each brewery. Once inside, he set us up with some drinks, and even showed us around Ballast Point. HotShots also provided lunch, which was very delicious! We had chicken wings, subs, pizzas, and fries. Nick was a pretty friendly guy, and a great guide! While at each brewery, he hungout with us and played cards. He even beat us in Pusoy Dos (Filipino card game) numerous times. Pretty sure he was just hustling us though... Overall HotShots was a great experience. We got to go to 3 different breweries, drink a lot, and not have to worry about how to get to the next brewery. We all had a great time, and if you book them for your brewery tour, you'll have a great time as well!

For my 40th bday I wanted to get the gang back together and this was the perfect experience! We hit up two of our favorite taco spots, drinking and singing karaoke between stops. The most special part was that for our third stop Luke worked with me to add a personalized stop for us to visit our friend's new baby! An incredibly special and memorable night for me and my group of friends. Luke is the perfect blend of chill and dependable: payment, planning, communication, pick-up, driving, drop-off were all a breeze. He's witty and knowledgable and he knows how to start a party. Best DD I've ever had! Tip: If you're getting picked up at Shelter Island, get a pre-game happy hour mai tai at Bali Hai!

Love that we had the opportunity to meet people from other places and eat good food. Locations were Point Loma, Ocean Beach and Little Italy on our tour. Each spot was 40-45 minutes each which was enough time to eat and enjoy. Thanks for a great date night! Ordering tickets was super easy online prior, they have two different options to choose from, we picked the sunset tour which was an excellent time! They take all major credit cards, picks up in front on Eddie Vs Seafood in Seaport Village (SPV), park in the SPC parking area and off you go!
