I was brought here because my body had shut down and no one knew why. I was basically treated like…read morea burden because I didn't have any identifiable characteristics that show like oh his arm is broke. Oh he has a huge opened wound, etc. etc.. 3C04. That was my room I was transferred to on the floor a step down from ICU. Mac: exceptional nurse that made me feel heard and understood to the best of anyone's knowledge that I was in a lot of pain and I could not move. Chris (dayshift, nurse) exceptional nurse who did everything he could to help me be comfortable. Rachel: good nurse, but we didn't have a whole lot of time together since I was transferred to Louisville that night. Chris (dayshift nurse who couldn't be bothered with anything about anything. Walks out of patient rooms separating his glasses like he committed some kind of high-pressure victory) honestly an unpleasant person. Like why are you a nurse if you genuinely do not like people? Staying for the money keeps you in a pretty miserable cycle. Jordan the Night Shift nurse liked playing games like when I would request to be moved up in my bed and stretched, and she would tell me that she needed to find the tech. Then I would see the tech and ask her to be moved up in my bed and stretched, and she would say that she needed to find Jordannn the nurse. Horrible man. I think I wanna be in a hospital? Can't even move and y'all are over here acting like I asked you to take me to the circus and ice cream. Deb: Night Shift nurse that genuinely does not like people either. Like why are you a nurse? This being a nurse for some money is brutal for the patients who truly need an empathetic understanding human being. Caroline that was with Deb, but she had on so much makeup. It was really just a shift for flexing her makeup skills and being a cute nurse, but that doesn't matter if you're useless. I was really hurting around 3:30 AM and needed pulled up in the bed and stretched and every time I would call to like see what they're even doing because I've been waiting a long time, they would just tell me to give them a couple minutes or we'll be right there and you know when they showed up? 6:30 AM right before shift change. Horrible man. Nurse aids: most were acceptable, but most of y'all have no business caring after patients because you honestly just don't want to. Everything's cool when you can provide an extra pillow or turn on the fan but beyond that, it's like we'll get there when we get there. I told the floor manager for that area and the ICU area and should've seen her face because I'm not the first one to say anything about these people. I'm in Louisville and my MRIs showed that I had a tumor growing in my spine, which is why I was not able to move. You have to understand that we are real people who are in the hospital trying to figure out what is wrong with them. Making us feel like the burden that we already feel like does not help anything. The last part of this review is Rob down in the MRI area. My absolute most favorite person I had the pleasure of working with. Incredibly patient and understanding to the fact that I needed a break between my second and third MRI because my back was spazzing. We had some really good conversation and he made me feel like a decent human being who was lost in a world of pain. You have a really good man on your team so please treat him well. I obviously survived being in the hospital, but it really made me check myself regarding my opinion about the hospital because I've always had a high opinion. I had both of my hips replaced and 21 and 22. I did a commercial for the hospital. But to be a patient that is brought to the hospital, but none of us know why my body will not work and we are pretty much in the dark is not a green light to just be bothered. Do better. Day shift AIDS: Morgan(pregnant) really sweet and understanding. Tried to be as helpful as she could be. Night Shift AIDS: Morgan why are you even here? Markina did her best Nearly every person I dealt with in the emergency room had horrible bedside manner.

First. The emergency rooms are dirty. No sanitary surfaces in the room we were in. There is a…read moreblack layer of filth on the floor where it hasn't been cleaned. They were out of amenities like tissues. Their blankets were dirty, covered in detritus that had not been cleaned off from whatever happened in the past (even if it had been washed), and the cable management on the equipment was so befuddled that it took ten minutes for the nurse to untangle it. The nurse did not listen to us. Our grandmother was dehydrated and they wanted to draw blood. The first nurse tried to draw blood and burst 2 veins. The second nurse drew blood, but the draw was bad because it was coagulated. The 3rd nurse drew blood through the IV after she was given fluids. The first nurse was rude when we suggested that she should not take blood pressure with the machine. Our grandmother has very thin skin and poor circulation. She screamed out in pain when she was being monitored. Her blood pressure was 180 over 110. We told the nurse to take off the device because it was causing her pain and causing her blood pressure to rise. She refused. This led to my grandmother's blood pressure to rise to over 200 over 115. The first nurse was rude from start to end. She refused any input we had even though we were knowledgeable about the situation. On a different point... Years ago I took my Grandfather after a fall where he had busted his nose and had a potential concussion. We sat, without seeing a doctor, for hours before we decided to leave. This is the worst place to go in an emergency. The care is substandard and the staff is rude. I will never go here again. Greenview isn't the best in the world, but it is an actual hospital vs. dark farce of the Medical Center.
