COCKROACH-INFESTED FLOWERS. YES, YOU READ THAT CORRECTLY. My husband ordered a bouquet of flowers expecting something beautiful. Instead, I received what can only be described as a cockroach delivery service disguised as a flower arrangement. The moment I set the bouquet down on the ground, cockroaches started coming out of it. Not one. Not two. I counted AT LEAST 11 COCKROACHES. There were different sizes, small ones, larger ones, and everything in between. They were literally crawling and jumping out of the bouquet and scattering across my floor. I was completely horrified. I immediately called the shop and asked them to come pick up their bouquet and the mess they had created. Their response? They couldn't. So let me understand this. Your business sends me a bouquet infested with cockroaches, introduces a pest problem into my home, and then when I call you for help, I am the one left responsible for cleaning it up? I had to spend a ridiculous amount of time trying to find and eliminate the cockroaches and carefully deal with the flowers and contaminated debris so that I would not end up infesting my trash bin and potentially spreading the problem even further. And then the solution they offered? A replacement bouquet and a reimbursement. A REPLACEMENT BOUQUET. As if my problem was that I did not receive enough flowers. I DIDN'T NEED MORE FLOWERS. I NEEDED THE COCKROACHES OUT OF MY HOUSE. A refund does not undo the hours of cleaning. A replacement bouquet does not undo the stress and disgust of watching ELEVEN+ cockroaches crawl out of something you just brought into your home. And neither one addresses the very real concern of whether any of them escaped into the surrounding area. This wasn't a flower that arrived wilted. This wasn't a bouquet that was missing something. This wasn't a minor customer service issue. I received flowers infested with numerous live cockroaches, and then I was left to deal with the aftermath myself. I have never experienced anything like this in my life. If you are thinking about ordering from this shop, I would seriously think twice. Flowers are supposed to brighten someone's day, not give them a full-blown pest control project. Beautiful bouquet? No. Surprise cockroach convention? Absolutely. Customer service when I needed help cleaning up their mess? Nowhere to be found. 0/10. I would give zero stars if Yelp allowed it. read more

Nice community flower shop. I went in and just told the lady to make me a custom arrangement on the spot for $150. I like going to florists where I am able to see the flowers they have in stock that day. She finished it in 20 minutes and I came back to pick it up. I loved the yellow, orange, and green colors she chose! The flowers lasted 10 days, which isn't the longest, but good enough. read more

Very disappointed. I paid $225 for what appeared to be a beautiful flower arrangement in a vase for Valentine's Day. As I'm driving home, I can see that these roses are not fresh at all. In fact, they look like funeral roses to me. I had to trim every rose. I stopped in on Friday to buy Mother's Day flowers before the best arrangements sell out. Had them hold my arrangement for Saturday eve pickup. All the did was have me write my name & number on a sticky note and said the receipt was sent to my gmail. Of course when I arrived for pickup, the arrangement was gone and they had no record of my purchase. No process for tracking people's purchases at all. Just confusion. They made me prove it by showing my receipt - then threw together some wack arrangement that looks like it costs 1/2 of the one I actually bought. The worst experience ever read more

I wanted to get some flowers for my friend and this was the place closest to them. And I asked the florist for a photo so I could see what they got versus what I picked out and it's very nice. If anything, what the florist picked out is nicer. LOL Whenever I send flowers, I always ask for photos to compare what's on the website and what actually is received. The flowers were fine, albeit not quite as polished/put together as the photos suggested (ordered "The Wild Violet"), but the real issue was they got the delivery date wrong. They sent the flowers to my house on the wrong day and ruined a major valentines day surprise I had planned for my wife. Contacted their staff to ask if they could help make up for it somehow, and they simply ignored my request. Very disappointing experience. read more

Some friends and I just found out a friend of ours had breast cancer, and was going through chemo in secret. She decided to tell us when she was about to hopefully ring the bell signifying that she her treatments had worked. We decided to get her some flowers. I know nothing about flowers and our friend that does lives too far away and I live the closest, so it was left to me. I looked on Yelp for florists near me and thankfully was able to sift through ones that were way too over priced, ones that only did events, and others that had appointment only times and etc.... I decided on one that was pretty close to my house and had good reviews. This one was a bust! This other place must have hired someone new because I was completely ignored (and I was the only one there) as the employee talked on the phone with their friend, and the selection was not great. So I went back to the car and got back on Yelp and found one I had missed before but was only a couple blocks away and that's where I found Brenda's Flowers! Let me tell you it was a breath of fresh air from the other place- literally- it smelled to nice and fresh in there!! Unlike the other place where I was ignored, the lady here at the counter who was busy with another project, stopped what she was doing, greeted me warmly and proceeded to offer any help I needed. I told her I was clueless about flowers and what the flowers were for, and that only thing I knew for sure was that I wanted a lot of pink for the breast cancer. She said she would take care of the selection and design for me and gave me a couple price ranges of what I wanted to spend. She and the other employee (who had been working on something else) then both proceeded to work like a well oiled team picking out, trimming, and arranging this bouquet that I couldn't believe came together so quick and looked so beautiful! To top it all off the price of what I paid was amazing and about 1/2 of what I was expecting pay!! Some places just check all the boxes! The service here was wonderful, the selection was great, the store smelled terrific, and the price was incredible! Other flower shops I have found to be over priced and kinda snooty, Brenda's was a nice change of pace, and I will definitely be back. I definitely recommend them! read more

After having a terrible experience with From You Flowers, I ended up looking up some local florists near where the bouquet was to be delivered. I came across Brenda's Flowers, with great reviews. The night before I emailed and DMed them on IG (I wasn't sure which they'd respond to first) and they responded incredibly quickly! I went the next day and the employee was SO friendly and helpful. She asked what I was looking for an helped me create a beautiful bouquet and helped me stay within my budget, too. While we were picking the flowers out, she would tell me each individual price which helped, as well. Then they arranged the flowers and had it out to me in the vase I picked out within 5 minutes. I called to see if I could get the Spring Bloom in a smaller size than the standard since I didn't want to pay $100. They were very accommodating and put together a $60 version of it. It was just what I was looking for. Flowers were ready at the pick up time and they gave me a cardboard box to help carry the vase in the car. The delivery never arrived even though I received an email that it was delivered. I called at 6pm on Valentine's Day because it hadnt arrived and was told it was just delivered. After I spoke with them I checked with my gf and it had not arrived. She looked outside and checked with neighboring businesss. They lied about a delivery, ON VALENTINES DAY, and because of that my gf not only didn't flowers- she went looking for something that wasn't even there. I called the next day and the manager said the devilery was returned because the driver couldn't find the location. That made absolutely no sense because the address was exact and I even noted the business name. The manager was not helpful at all. He just explained how the driver couldn't find it. No resolution offered AT ALL. I was shocked and told him I wanted a refund. It was a special delivery and they treated it like no big deal. The flowers and note were from me to my girlfriend and the failed delivery makes no sense all. The lack of a resolution made no sense. I hate to think it but seems like this florist had a problem with delivering flowers for a gay couple. HORRIBLE experience. read more

I had a terrible experience with this shop. Ordered centerpieces for our big event and ended up with tasteless arrangements with full of low quality cheap looking flowers. What I received had nothing to do with the beautiful flower pictures they show here, it looked like something a kid put together. I had to run to Trader' Joe's to get some nicer flowers to add to their arrangement to make them nicer and fuller looking. Ordered flowers for my boss's birthday & they never came. I called three times throughout the day to get updates & they said they could not get a hold of their driver. Finally at 3:42 I got an email saying that the flowers were delivered, I work in an office that you need to be buzzed into and have had flowers delivered to plenty of times, I even searched the perimeter of the building to make sure they weren't dropped off somewhere. Nothing. I called back & they said they would offer me a refund but so far the only email I've gotten is a credit for $0.
