VERY DISAPPOINTED I paid $110.00 dollars for what supposed to be BIG and beautiful flower arrangement like the lady said, the selection of flowers were ok, what amazed me about the quantity of flowers for the price!! I saw the bouquets that they had outside the price was $22.00 dollars for each bouquet, when I saw my arrangement ,I should bought a couple of them and will be much better even cheaper for the price of the one I got. Very disappointing

I got these flowers 3 days ago. Many were already damaged, they were gracious about those, but all of the bouquet is turning already and it's only been 3 days. The same thing happened last time I ordered from them.

Very disappointed. I paid $225 for what appeared to be a beautiful flower arrangement in a vase for Valentine's Day. As I'm driving home, I can see that these roses are not fresh at all. In fact, they look like funeral roses to me. I had to trim every rose. (see pics) For the money spent, I'd rather do my business elsewhere where I know I can get fresh flowers when I spend over $200 .

and this is what my friend got. Which I think is nicer and more tasteful and elegant. And more in tune with the season and time of year. :D

I wanted to get some flowers for my friend and this was the place closest to them. And I asked the florist for a photo so I could see what they got versus what I picked out and it's very nice. If anything, what the florist picked out is nicer. LOL Whenever I send flowers, I always ask for photos to compare what's on the website and what actually is received. It's a good tip to keep in mind. Would definitely order from them again.

Beautiful arrangement

Nicole did the most amazing job with my flower arrangement! Ordered it on DoorDash and asked her to make come customizations and she was so helpful. Would highly recommend!!

You know how you know you are buying quality flowers? When they look like this 5 days after they were delivered!

All pink bouquet

VERY HIGH QUALITY!! I bought the all pink bouquet (Doordash) as a business gift to give to someone. I was shocked that every single flower stem looked liked it was picked with such thoughtful intention. All the flowers were stunningly beautiful!! I am so happy this flower shop produced such a beautiful product! I don't have the budget to buy a $200 bouquet. This was well worth the price and affordable for a custom bouquet! Thank you!

Some friends and I just found out a friend of ours had breast cancer, and was going through chemo in secret. She decided to tell us when she was about to hopefully ring the bell signifying that she her treatments had worked. We decided to get her some flowers. I know nothing about flowers and our friend that does lives too far away and I live the closest, so it was left to me. I looked on Yelp for florists near me and thankfully was able to sift through ones that were way too over priced, ones that only did events, and others that had appointment only times and etc.... I decided on one that was pretty close to my house and had good reviews. This one was a bust! This other place must have hired someone new because I was completely ignored (and I was the only one there) as the employee talked on the phone with their friend, and the selection was not great. So I went back to the car and got back on Yelp and found one I had missed before but was only a couple blocks away and that's where I found Brenda's Flowers! Let me tell you it was a breath of fresh air from the other place- literally- it smelled to nice and fresh in there!! Unlike the other place where I was ignored, the lady here at the counter who was busy with another project, stopped what she was doing, greeted me warmly and proceeded to offer any help I needed. I told her I was clueless about flowers and what the flowers were for, and that only thing I knew for sure was that I wanted a lot of pink for the breast cancer. She said she would take care of the selection and design for me and gave me a couple price ranges of what I wanted to spend. She and the other employee (who had been working on something else) then both proceeded to work like a well oiled team picking out, trimming, and arranging this bouquet that I couldn't believe came together so quick and looked so beautiful! To top it all off the price of what I paid was amazing and about 1/2 of what I was expecting pay!! Some places just check all the boxes! The service here was wonderful, the selection was great, the store smelled terrific, and the price was incredible! Other flower shops I have found to be over priced and kinda snooty, Brenda's was a nice change of pace, and I will definitely be back. I definitely recommend them!

After having a terrible experience with From You Flowers, I ended up looking up some local florists near where the bouquet was to be delivered. I came across Brenda's Flowers, with great reviews. The night before I emailed and DMed them on IG (I wasn't sure which they'd respond to first) and they responded incredibly quickly! I went the next day and the employee was SO friendly and helpful. She asked what I was looking for an helped me create a beautiful bouquet and helped me stay within my budget, too. While we were picking the flowers out, she would tell me each individual price which helped, as well. Then they arranged the flowers and had it out to me in the vase I picked out within 5 minutes. An amazing first time for me picking my own flowers for a bouquet and I couldn't have been more pleased with my time. 10/10 experience! Thank you again!

From the outside, it's just a normal flower ship but the man can really make masterful arrangements. Had to pick up flowers for my moms birthday and was blown away by their service and price. Will be my dedicated florist. No wonder they've been in business for 25 years! You guys are the best!!

"Cloud Nine"
Clara S.

Was so pleasantly surprised when my friend sent me a pic of this GORGEOUS arrangement that I had delivered to her. Got the "Cloud Nine" for a friend and it's safe to say that we both absolutely love it. I personally think it looks better than what's advertised on their website. I also greatly appreciated their timely service--this beauty was delivered within 3 hours on a Saturday! Will definitely be recommending this gem to all my friends and family.

Tried this place again and very happy with it. My partner loved his flowers. He couldn't stop adoring it/ talking about it.

The flowers were beautiful, costs were just a fraction of what it would cost to have a florist procure them and put them together. We had no idea, as to "our" budget, except it was given to us our wedding gift. My paternal aunt purchased, all of our wedding flowers here and placed together by family, with love. We were there, bright and early and got best quality flowers. It was day or two, before they would be used. They must be preserved, freshly and kept them inside my bathroom, in dark, cold room & cranked up AC. All of it was placed in bathtub for hydration.

Went here on Friday and I do not think this place is worth it whatsoever. I was highly disappointed…read moreafter wanting to go here for over a decade. First the website mentions parking on the roof and we could not find this parking. There was an area blocked off, but it didn't say full. It was just blocked off and the only reason I suspect that was their parking lot is because the exit was still open. So I had to pay for $10 across the street. Yes we could have found street parking further away, but I was already frustrated not having found their lot and my partner was just like I'll just pay. Let's just go across the street. Next even though it is mentioned on the website (I don't remember seeing it despite looking at the website multiple times) and there was a $2 entrance fee. what am I paying $2 for? Why am I paying $2 to shop and spend more money? I'm sorry just on the way there as we got closer, there are so many flower shops around the mart so I don't see why you wouldn't just go to one of those and get your flowers without having to pay an additional fee. So now, we are already $14 out-of-pocket and we havent done anything but try to park and step inside. We get inside we look around and I honestly did not find the prices to be that different from a farmers market perhaps a slightly bigger bouquet, or a couple of dollars cheaper, but there was nothing that was like ooh, this is a great deal. We ended up buying a large bouquet of lilies for $25. There is a stall in the back that had what I would consider actually good price prices. Five stems for $10 and a big bushel of another kind of flower for $6. We got those as well. My partner also really liked the plant guy and bought a plant from him from $20. Now here is where I really will not be back. I stopped at a stall called Choice America. I saw a really pretty set of mum's and asked how much they were & was told $10. The guy helping me then confirmed that they were $10 with somebody else. He then went on to say that one with eight stems was a higher price that I don't remember because I knew I wasn't getting that. When I got to the counter to actually pay, the woman was going back-and-forth with another customer about some order. They both seemed equally frustrated. Why is this important?.. because when it was my time to pay she said $10. I handed her a $20 bill. She opens the register and pulls out a five and some ones throws up her hands. I deduced that already being frustrated this is just one more thing on top as she doesnt have enough change to give me and instead turns to me and says $12.50. I kind of stumble and I say for what... tax or something? and she goes yeah tax clearly lying! Even if they did charge tax, which no other stall did, sales tax in Los Angeles on $10 it's not $12.50. The unfortunate problem is that I am black and I am not afforded the luxury to say something back because then I'm seeing as an angry black woman, have the police called on me not being believed etc. etc. so I just have to bite the bullet and get scammed and ripped off of my money. My partner and I both agree that it was not worth the hassle to go, but he really wants to take me to the restaurant across the street so we would go back to the plant guy and we would go back to the stall in the back but even those are BIG IFS as neither of us has any desire to ever go back to the Flower Mart. I feel like overall. The whole place is a money grab, you should save your money and go to your local farmers market or visit one of the many other vendors that were around the area without having to pay an admission fee to even buy flowers. Or better yet be bold like the elderly lady who accosted us as we were leaving and asked "are you all done in there can I have your sticker?" I was already too flustered to even recognize what she was asking till after my partner happily handed his over.

[Parking]: Traffic was horrendous on Valentine's Day, but I was able to find some free street parking near Stanford Ave & E 8th St (near Ninth Street School). [Experience]: Most vendors accept cash or Zelle only. Many of the shops have good flower arrangement selections. There are several markets within the district and some of the more popular markets include: California Flower Mall (825 San Pedro St), LA Flower Place (720-718 San Julian St), and The Original Los Angeles Flower Market (754 Wall St). Also a part of the experience of shopping here is learning how to bargain. [Conclusion]: I did end up getting flowers at a shop here (Rob's Flowers - originally $75 but haggled to $65) and there is no question visitors will find arrangements that they won't normally find at grocery stores like Trader Joe's or Vons. It is a good spot to shop for flowers if visitors plan ahead of time and take 1 - 2 hours to shop around.

Using what they have on display that gives an idea and adding things to it. It was easy and ordering was fast. Most places do delivery for a fee. You can walk into any of the vendors and check what their rates are. It's easy to look around and see what's out there. A lot of the arrangements are pretty similar but customizing it to your liking is available. Prices can varies depending on the sizes and flowered used. I placed an order and gave them the city of where it needed to get to. The lady taking my order knew exactly where it was going before we even said it. So they must have done a lot of deliver there. The floral stands do come with arrangements. They have a sash that comes free or you can get more of a professional style for an additional fee. I highly recommend ordering arrangements here. Pricewise for my order was great. For an extra large arrangement with added additional flowers including delivery and sash was 250.00. I've looked at websites and simple smaller arrangements were that price or more. It's a deal at the flower district. Highly recommend ordering arrangements.
