First, it is centrally located which made it very easy for me to get from downtown (around Gay St) to it for their classes. I would also say that the staff (especially January at the front desk) are very warm and welcoming. They make you feel excited to be there and treat you as though you are a regular. The classes themselves were great (if you've been to b3 before, they use the same moves that you'd see in other classes) but there were a couple of things I would love to see from the studio in the future. First, I would love to see cardio and/or strength classes on the schedule like some other b3 studios have (and that they have online). I know this means that they will have to get heavier weights, but I love lifting heavy and missed that here. The second thing that I think would be awesome would be having classes at the same time every day (i.e. a noon class). It seemed like they were training a lot of new instructors when I was there so hopefully these additions will happen soon. Either way, the studio is clean and friendly! I will be back when I return to Knox!

A wonderful assortment of classes from beginners to the most challenging postures and sequences. Love the hands on adjustments by some of their teachers. It's also nice that other teachers do not hands-on adjust but just use verbal cues to help get students into proper alignment. It's nice to have both. There's something about Renegade Yoga Center that just feels right. Practicing yoga with a view of the trees and the sounds of the breeze...I imagine this was how yoga was intended to be practiced from the very beginning. I love the roll-up garage doors that allow you to feel like you're one with nature yet still inside and protected from the elements. You know when you meet someone new, or walk into someplace new, and something inside your soul just lights up for some inexplicable reason because even though it's not familiar, it feels so good, it feels so right? That's how I feel here. I'm so glad I found my new home.
