Everytime I visit Spitalfields, I always end up in this shop. Eight Sq harbour a collection of…read morevintage chic home decor and furniture. From storage units to cute little things to hang up on your wall. Everything in it is "soooo me". If I had a bigger room, I'm sure I'd empty out their store. If you're a fan of Sass & Belle, then you'll definitely be a fan of this cute little shop. However, I personally find it a bit on the pricey side (I'm not rich you know!). Nonetheless, it's worth a look around and you might find something you've been looking for!
Eight Square is a gorgeous shop in Spitalfields. It has some of the most beautiful furniture…read moreincluding bespoke chairs upholstered in luxurious fabrics. They have some exotic pieces as well as contemporary shabby-chic looking furniture. The French chandeliers here are just gorgeous and they sometimes have the most huge, amazing mirrors. The owner also brings in artworks by local artists to sell in her shop (I presume the owner is a woman because it's so feminine and beautiful). They also stock the practical items such as linen baskets etc and they have beautiful ornaments and trinkets as well. I absolutely love this shop-it's stunning and the prices match the quality of the products. Some are expensive and some not as expensive. The staff are very friendly and welcoming as well. It's a great shopping experience.

The stylist behind Story is an absolute legend. As a true fan of beautiful curiosities, I find this…read morethe most visually exciting place in London. Within this white walled warehouse space you will come across dresses built up out of lace, bunches of white rice paper roses and soft chains of jewellery. There is an organic theme tying the shop together, lightly fragranced by incense and structured in a mystical, meandering way with pieces hanging from the ceiling, on the floor and in all the spaces in between. During the week Story is open by appointment only but on a Sunday is open from 1pm. Hidden behind an overgrown willowy plant makes finding this shop even more of a delight.
I want.

We both purchased jeans from the sales and main racks that weren't too costly and will undoubtedly love. If I were the manager, I would be embarrassed by the staff's attitude. The slighty-faux-boho older sister of Urban Outfitters. Anthropologie is a bit more sophisticated,…read morehas a real income, a "career path" and doesn't mind splurging on a really nice glass of cabernet sauvignon. So, if you shopped at Urban in your early 20's, you'll probably find yourself liking Anthropologie. It's more expensive, the colors more muted, the fabrics higher end, the decor is fit for a proper flat, not a dorm room and you'll probably be somewhat enamored with their sense of style. This particular location in Spitalfields is nice, right next to COS and a nice departure from the market if you are looking for a more traditional retail experience with fitting rooms, etc. I buy a few things online from Anthro every once in awhile and just return whatever doesn't fit to this store, so I find it convenient. Their returns are super fast (you don't even need the card you paid with) and painless. The store is well laid out, busy on weekends. Usually I try not to shop here because everything is full price and will eventually be on sale via the website. So....there you have it!
I really enjoyed this market, we actually stumbled upon it after getting coffee nearby and arrived…read morewhile the vendors were still setting up. Since we were so early we were able to browse the market, vendors and food options without big crowds or lines. There were two areas of the market along with the brick and mortar stores in the area. The food options were great, and if we had more time during our visit I would have made this a regular spot for us to visit so we could try more of the options. There's a wide variety of cuisine offered from Dirty Bagel's pulled pork sandwiches, which we bought, to hand pulled noodles, coffee, chai, baked items, and so much more. I wish we had tried more of the food vendors! The other vendors had a lot of clothing, gifts, art and accessories and there were some that seemed to have more than one booth, while others were very unique. There was free wifi in the market, which was great since our hotel had terrible wifi. They also had plenty of seating for those who wanted to enjoy food. Next time we're in the area we will be back!
