Just returned from a 2-night Monday-Wednesday stay at Breakers! We stayed in Unit 8 which was a King Studio. The room was lovely and had everything we needed - king bed, small kitchenette with mini fridge, and ice-cold AC. Loved the little patio space outside our room with picnic table! The hotel also provides beach chairs, which was great because we didn't need to bring our own. Check-in and check-out were done via text which was so simple and easy! No issues with parking either. The location can't be beat - direct access to the quiet beach across the street and just a short walk into town. The property is well-maintained and I loved all the florals & foliage - gorgeous lavender buzzing with bees outside our window! Maybe it was because we were there during the week instead of the weekend, but the place was packed full of families with little kids. Not at all what I expected from the hotel's marketing, which made it seem young, fun, and hip. We didn't bother going to the pool since it was a kid playground. Unit 8 was in between two other rooms and unfortunately we could hear everything on the other sides of the walls (lots of screaming kids). There were also people right outside of our window on the patio next door being loud until all hours of the night while we were trying to sleep, in complete disregard to the hotel's quiet hours policy. Even with the blinds down, I didn't feel like I had privacy from them, and having them right there felt invasive. I highly recommend booking one of the standalone units for better privacy. Lastly, Yelp showed that there was an "All Day Cafe" on the property but we could not locate it and gave up looking. We were in Montauk this past weekend at an Airbnb, and I went on resortpass.com to see if there were any day passes for pool or beach access, and The Breakers offered chairs for $100/pp, a good deal for the Hamptons. NO ONE WAS AT THE POOL WITH US. It was Labor Day weekend, and the restaurant at the motel told us the entire place was booked for a wedding, which may have added to the quiet day as we saw everyone clear out in wedding attire. The pool area was clean and there were towels for us to use. The on site taco place had drinks and delivered to the pool. There were higher price points for daybeds ($350) but we could have used whatever we wanted, no one checked on us and a clerk gave me colored wrist bands and told me to sit "anywhere". We also had beach access which was a far walk, but it was a nice addition. The music piped in at the pool was perfect-soft chill/lounge that made sense. The pool is also heated as a bonus. If you have the inclination and want a pool to use for the day, do not hesitate. read more

I would not spend any amount of time on this property again. Firstly, do not be fooled by the creative social media. Somehow, they got a really talented photographer to crisis-manage the appearance of this establishment. I guess that's where all the budget for updates went. Now for the practicalities: The parking is ridiculous - meaning you'll be parking in the grass because the staff does not monitor the guests who take up multiple parking spots. The staff is not at all welcoming upon arrival. You can barely walk into the "office" without bumping into something or knocking it off a hanger, and they behave as if you are just lucky to be there. The shower head is covered in mold, which really grosses me out. Also - if you get "cabin" 26, please do prepare yourself for zero view and having the ability to hear every step, cough, and bang boom bang of the people staying above you. Also no television? How is that even possible for $300+ per night? There are tiny spiders and ants that pop up everywhere - including in the bed. I enjoyed the bed. It was comfortable and had ample pillows. That is - aside from the bug friends. The towels were nice quality. The internet speed was good. No issues with hot and cold water. The AC did work (and good thing for everyone, because I would have gone absolutely NUCLEAR if that hadn't been the case.) That's about as diplomatic as I can be. Do yourself a favor: spend the extra $200 per night and set yourself up at Gurney's (where they treat you like an actual person and there's basic amenities). Sheesh. read more

A pool, a bar, and rooms with a view. Very convenient location, being a short drive, longish walk and quick bike ride to the heart of Montauk village. Small cottages set across the street from the beach. It's cute but quite overpriced for what is basically a glorified motel. The set up has potential but not very well done. I could hear my neighbors talk through the wall. It advertises a TV but there is none. The room was a little beat up. Paint missing in a few spots. Closet had no shelf or clothing rod. Shower had nothing to put soap or shampoo on. Coffee machine did not work. read more

If you can think back to those old seaside motels you saw in the 60s, this place would be straight off the movie set. Across the street is the ocean. The rooms have been updated and have cute little decks with a patio picnic table and umbrella. If your kids have wet bathing suits, you can keep them on your private deck while you serve them tuna fish sandwiches on wonder bread you made in the small kitchen. You want a glimpse of America? It's right here at the Breakers inn. I can't see this place all crazy with spring breakers and recent HS graduates. It really is set up for a family with a big station wagon on summer vacation. The inside room has been updated, it's small but accommodating. The shower was a little trippy. I turned the knob to the far right to get the water hot and after two minutes my wife was about to call the front desk. I turned it a smidge just before shutting off and the water was hot. Strange but true. You're not too far from Main st in Montauk your more than likely going into town for dinner. The room is sufficient for breakfast and lunches poolside. Is the motel glamorous? Nope. And I wouldn't change a thing. The bed was comfy, the pool was outside my front door and the floors were new. The Breakers was a nice base of operations in Montauk for our trip in June. Rates are, as expected, bananas, but fair compared to other options in the area. It's basically a social media-ified motel, complete with retro signage, all-white everything, and acai bowls for sale. We didn't come with a car, and it's about a 20 minute walk to town center, which wore on us towards the end of the trip. They have a deal with Mini Cooper where you can test drive a car for two hours, which we took advantage of to check out the light house. I wish we could have done that a few more times. It's easy to get rideshare services out here, but quite pricey, and it's much more fun to be driving around town exploring. The little white bungalows are fairly basic set-up, but the clean and beachy design worked well. Every room has an outdoor porch but they didn't seem too popular. The linens were lovely, but the mattress was somewhat unsupportive. We had no problems with the temperature control. Bathroom is tiny but nice. Malin + Goetz toiletries won me over. We didn't use the cafe much-- limited menu, limited hours, high prices-- but if you need a snack it'll work, and there's a nice patio setup. The pool area is cool, with big striped umbrellas, but it was a little too chilly to spend much time in the water. There were a few groups there midday but wasn't really a pool scene the way I imagined Montauk would be. On that note, the space basically shuts down at night. We turned in early one of the nights and it was silent and dark at 10 pm. Think everyone hangs out at Surf Lodge... The most crowded I saw it was for the free fitness classes every morning. They have boutique fitness brands from NYC leading classes on the lawn. It's a nice perk if you're into that. Front desk staff was super. Check in and check out was a bit slow but the people were nice. They will text you a code for the door so you don't need to worry about the office being open. We didn't run into any major issues while staying here. I got the Hamptons out of my system with this trip, so I can't say I'll be back, but the Breakers was overall a good experience. It was a quaint motel. It is setup that you have your own mini house. While it maybe not exactly be wheelchair accessible, it is still a cute setup up for a mini family vacation or romantic getaway. Careful, these people are not honest. I booked a room for for this location through Booking. Com which clearly indicated I could cancel up to 24 hours before my arrival. I had to cancel 4 days before my arrival and still got charged for the room. I called to get my money back. First they said they didn't accept cancellations, but I reminded them I had booked with Booking. Com, so they agreed to reimburse 9me. That was 2 months ago and I still have not received my money. 2 years ago I first discovered Breakers while I was staying at another hotel nearby - I came for brunch and ended up hanging out for the rest of the day for a magazine party. I had a great time and thought Breakers and their staff were awesome. Last year, similarly, I was staying at a nearby hotel and we swung by here to grab some drinks and chill before heading to the beach. We noticed more than ever just how much work everything around the whole property needed but didn't think much of it, we weren't staying there so it didn't matter much to us. Fast forward to last weekend, my husband and I decided to take a much needed weekend trip to the Hamptons so we booked Breakers for 2 nights. We did this after thinking back to how fun of a place it was 2 years ago and looking at their site/IG, it appeared that they made all necessary updates to the property. Well, we were completely wrong to make that assumption. And yes, of course, I absolutely understand things won't be perfect given we're living in a pandemic but even with that said, everything about our stay was unacceptable. We arrived and had to check in on our phones without any human interaction, fine. The room smelled musty, the windows didn't shut properly, there was no TV, and everything hadn't been updated in years. The bed squeaked the moment we sat on it and we aren't exceptionally large people, it was clearly just a really cheap bed. And the worst part of all, there were 3 massive bugs in the room when we arrived - one was a huge moth and the other 2 were bugs I had never seen before, gross! The next morning I left our dirty towels outside to be picked up and washed as instructed by a note in the room and guess what? We never got new towels. On top of that, no one ever came to make our bed or tidy up. There was no phone to call anyone or sign to put on the door to request these services, nor were there ever any knocks on our door by staff to offer them. As a matter of fact, I only saw one person who worked there the whole weekend and he wasn't particularly friendly. Having spent $1200 for 2 nights, I'm extremely disappointed. Feels like I lit my money on fire. There are plenty of places in the area more worthwhile for that kind of money. Do not recommend. read more

SO DISAPPOINTING! Literally no one other than the cleaning lady was around during our entire stay. No one answers the phone. You get automated texts about check in/out and that was the extent of any contact. Cafe was closed, front office was locked up. This is more bare than an Airbnb rental; there's no one you can reach about anything. The website makes this place look so much more appealing than what it is. Definitely no poolside service (all the chairs were covered up), freezing pool, no TV (contrary to the front ad sign), no microwave (we booked a studio with kitchenette), no curtains to keep the bright sun out in the mornings (even with all the shades drawn). It's like a wannabe Ace Hotel without the hotel part. While it's nice to be near the beach, the sand flies were intolerable after a while. Finally, whyyyyyyyyyy do you have landscaping done at 9am in the morning?! We're still in our rooms and trying to stay asleep when lawn mowers are blaring right up to our units. Would it be so much to ask that you wait until AFTER 11AM when we're expected to check out? Nothing like waking up to heavy machinery and exhaust smells. Not even sure why that was since our windows were all shut. If you're coming off season (we came mid-sept), don't bother. There's literally no one there and if you needed anything (i.e. to borrow the advertised bikes, get towels, get info, need help etc), you're SOL. A handwritten note saying to call this number was taped on the office front door, and when we called it was the number for the Beach Plum resort next door. Go figure. read more

Full size loungers on the grassy areas. Very comfortable bed, super clean and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything needed to cook a meal. BEST coffee amd real creamers etc supplies left in the kitchen I have ever had in a motel/hotel. Seriously good coffee. Two minute walk to a beautiful sugar sand beach. Only problem - NO TV in the units??? Sign out front says TV and heated pool. No tv though :(. Since it was a one night stay - I survived with no TV. This review is not a review of the property or stay, as I had to cancel our reservation because of a health emergency. Rather, it is a review of their awful customer service and cancellation policy. I was injured in a bike-riding accident and had to cancel our stay one week prior to our booking. I thought they might make an exception to their already draconian 30-day cancellation policy, with verification from my doctor, but they only refunded 50% of our reservation. They even refused to issue the difference as a credit. We lost $1100 despite them telling us that the unit was in high demand and would rent. Im appalled that they would exploit their policy to make double the money on their units. It seems like the policy is set in place to hedge them against a very short 4-month season and is certainly not in the interest of their guests. I'd advise to book elsewhere. read more

with light, airy beachy vibes, breakers is adorable. i've really enjoyed my stay, but, i would like to suggest the following to management... - pool should be open past 6pm - finish the "punch list" (i.e. finish painting, cover old electrical outlets) before guests arrive - add a full length mirror to each cottage (and more than one tiny mirror in the bathroom that's hung too high for shorter women to see into) - add a mix of softer pillows to the bed - stop hanging the artwork so high (it looks weird) - add light filtering curtains to all rooms in the cottage (without it's very difficult to sleep in) - offer more luggage racks - offer coffee in the room - upgrade wifi (it's slow and unpredictable) - provide more towels (weren't enough for even half of the room's capacity) i'd like to reiterate that i enjoyed breakers, especially the pool area, sample sized tubes of super goop sunscreen, full kitchen and bikes. read more

Andre, front office was superb, friendly, professional and extremely helpful. Perfect location, beautiful private beach, great pool and immaculate rooms. The pool has poolside service and the both the drinks and the restaurant food is really good quality and very reasonably priced. The beds were also super super cozy which is super important. The only suggestion I would make is to have more storage for your clothes, my bungalow was lacking such space. Other than that everything was A+! I was super excited to stay at The Breakers this summer. Last year we'd done another motel up the road and while perfectly fine, we were hoping to find a bit more comfort and willing to pay more for that to happen. We got there a bit early and the person checking us in was very chill, but not necessarily indifferent. I just figured 'beach vibe.' We'd stated that we're a family of five (parents plus our 21, 16, and 12 year old kids) and we'd be using all sleeping arrangements but when we got to our room, they hadn't brought bedding for both futons. I was willing to overlook that fact because we could see the ocean from our room! When it was time to go to bed that night, we realized the blinds didn't work in one of the bedrooms. But we were tired and just turned them down by hand, one by one. Which of course meant turning them up each morning, too, but hey, view of the ocean! Turns out the shade in the living/kitchen area didn't work either but my son fixed that one. And yes, it's true that there is no bathroom privacy really - there is a sliding barn door with a full inch between the door and the wall so you can hear everything - and it doesn't lock, (though it looks like many attempts were made,) but we're family, so we didn't mind too much. Oh and the door of the second bedroom always pops open so we had to prop the backpacks in front of it for privacy there, too. And yeah, the bathroom wall could use a paint job. And maybe a dish for the soap that was starting to accumulate that special goop that comes with putting it on the sink counter. But there was also a pool! With a cute blow up named Chad! Sure, there was that one day with obnoxious people swimming that dominated the whole pool, up and down, side to side, with no regard for others. That's bound to happen at a beach hotel, right? And our food server at the pool, he was very nice. Though then there was that rusty razor blade and bent nail on the stairway up to our place. But they've got great branding and kind of cheeky humor on their signs. But then this morning, at 8:15am, I headed up to the 'All Day Cafe' which is open from 7am-7pm. No one was inside initially but one of the housekeeping people came to tell me someone would be right with me. Then a woman arrived. And I could feel her negativity barreling up behind me. I smiled and said good morning and she immediately barked "I JUST opened the doors. It's going to be at least 15 minutes before we're ready to make anything." I said ok, "I'm looking for a cup of tea. I thought you were open at 7am." And she had this nasty look on her face, like she was all kinds of pissed off. "No one was here at 7am, the person was late, so I JUST opened the doors!" I asked her if she was ok, genuinely, because I couldn't figure out if it was something I did or the fact that someone was actually in the restaurant before she was ready. Then she said something about how the coffee pot wasn't even on and I left. I calculated that we spent $743/night (tax included) on this accommodation so maybe these little things were not so much to ask. At the minimum, the attitude and service could have seriously made up for them. But they didn't, and so now I'm disappointed on what should be a happy beach day. read more

Nice pool, very social media friendly. LOOKS great online, however, the AC in the bedroom didn't work until we went to the front desk twice to get it fixed. Also, the kitchenette sounded great so we stopped at some farm stands to get some local ingredients, but both the stove top and the oven didn't actually work. We called the front desk to have it fixed, but no one is on the property after 8 pm. We left a message with the desk, but received zero follow-up. It's just bad business and bad hospitality. I would come back if they offered to make the situation right, but definitely not for $250 a night. Also, the room had ants. The location is good though. read more

They clearly did renovations to this motel... It turned out to be a perfect spot for my best friend and I. I would absolutely return. Why you may like it if coming from NYC: 1) It is a $6 pp cab ride from the LIRR to the motel. 2) It is affordable compared to most other spots, and you will soon realize that Montauk is totally a motel or airbnb town, it would be strange to stay in any sort of resort. 3) The pool is nice. 4) There is a really tranquil and beautiful beach across the street - it was our favorite beach in the area. We realized this after going to the crowded beaches near the strip. 5) The location is ideal - we were able to walk for 10-15 minutes to the strip for meals and we took a really nice 30 min. walk to Navy Beach for dinner one night. If I don't walk, I get antsy, so this was clutch for me. 6) Each room has an outdoor patio and picnic table and they are perfect for a family meal. 7) Some rooms have kitchens (ours didn't). But I believe all rooms have fridges. 8) The air conditioning was so nice! Beware: 1) We ordered our room online through orbitz and it was overpriced. 2) When we got to the hotel we heard a staffer discuss rates with a family that walked in and with someone over the phone. 3) We asked him why we were paying almost double for a room. He explained that it is because they have to pay the 3rd party service. BUT he refunded us a large chunk of change. 4) SO, if you go - CALL AND NEGOTIATE beforehand. I just got back from a stay at the Breakers Motel. I had driven by in the past and always thought it looked so cozy. I could see families sitting at picnic tables out on decks with dad at the bbq grill...kids splashing in the pool. I made a reservation and the woman was so nice. I arrived and loved my room. It had a great view of the ocean and it had a nice new flat screen TV and AC. The queen size bed was very comfortable. I love to cook and the kitchen had everything I needed. The room looked freshly painted and was very clean. I think it must have been recently renovated. I'm hooked. Montauk is paradise and I've stayed at lots of different places. But now I've found my favorite spot. read more

This place used to be great. IT IS NOW A DISASTER. 1. If you are looking for a family resort - DON'T DO IT. The on-site restaurant plays loud music late into the night. When we were there, the restaurant hosted an afternoon party that stretched all over the motel grounds. Picture 20-something hipsters sitting on YOUR porch of YOUR cabin, drinking drinks while music blares. Yup. And your kids are trying to swim in the pool five feet away from the hipsters making out. And nobody at the motel ever told us anything about the plans to hold the party. No notice. Not a word it was coming. It just suddenly happened. 2. If you are looking for a party spot - DON'T DO IT. All hipsters beware: kids like ours were screaming in the pool right outside your window at 8am. All you people doing yoga on the deck of the restaurant - yes, those were our kids running past you yelling. Sorry you couldn't relax. We couldn't either. 3. If you are looking for a room - DON'T DO IT. We went to Breakers with a group of five other families. When we arrived to check in, the motel had lost one family's reservation completely. They had to stay at another motel. They claimed they could only put another family of four into a small studio. They literally did not have enough room on the floor for the two aerobeds they needed for their two kids. The worst part - other one-bedroom units remained vacant for the rest of the weekend while they were crammed into the studio. 4. If you are looking to pay what you agreed to pay when you made the reservation - DON'T DO IT. They overcharged us, but not until days AFTER we had left. Now having a fun time disputing through the credit card company. Really, truly the worst experience I have ever had. We used to love the Breakers. We went there for years. But never, ever, ever will I go back again. This place has been ruined. read more

Amazing staff, super accommodating and nice. Great location - a quiet beach directly across the street, ocean views, 10 minute walk into town and about a 5 minute taxi to any of the bars you'd care to go to. Terrible. Bait and switch. Spiders (found 1 crawling in the bed), pincher bugs, filthy moldy corners, large gaps in wall, door, and flooring where bugs were clearly coming in. Photos are nothing like the website. Bathroom was old with a tiny dirty looking plastic shower stall with no power outlet. Shower water was cold to lukewarm. Floors were dirty and room was murky and moist. Tried to call the front desk to get a different room and no one answered, even on the emergency line. What happens if there was a fire or real emergency? No one there to help. Tried to get a refund and they refused saying "the reservation already passed." Well of course it did, they refused to pick up the phone so we could get out of there. Do not stay here. Horrible. read more

The Breakers' staff was awesome, and very much enhanced my experience in The Hamptons. I flew from California to New York to visit family in Long Island for the week, and must admit.. I was a bit put off by the VERY different attitude that the heavy majority of New Yorkers seem to have. It's something in between, "I don't give a sh*t", and.. "How dare you talk to me as if I care what you have to say." (And I'm speaking about the staff in all of the various tourism businesses I had to utilize to get there.. ferry employees, gas station staff, grocery store clerks, etc.) But hey. When you're in a place where literally EVERY cash register has to have a sign stating "get off your cellphone or we won't serve you." Then maybe people just get burned out..(Is that the norm in NY? Different world I guess. People are just less considerate it seems) Back to the Breakers. The 'manager'(not sure if it's his title, but he seemed to run the show/office, instantly made us feel welcome. For the first time since getting off the plane, it felt like somebody was happy to interact with us, and was willing to go out of their way to make sure we had a positive experience. We didn't have a reservation, but we were able to compromise, switch rooms after the first night, and he met all our needs just fine. The next day, my truck battery was dead(left the dome light on), and the same guy.. Along with a couple of the maintenance staff were instrumental in helping us jump it, as well as break into it(without any damage), after I LEFT IT RUNNING AND LOCKED THE DOOR! I tried to tip them, thank them, etc.. And their only response was "I know you would do the same if you could help someone else who needed it." All around, the breakers was a solid little beach motel(it's not a 5star spot.. But you don't pay for 5*'s). As far as beachfront motels go.. It was a 5/5 spot. It was clean, quiet, and the three guys we interacted with really made the experience one to remember, as well as one worth writing about. Thanks Guys! We'll be back. read more

5***** for a motel easy access to room and super clean rooms felt more like a small one bed room apartment then a motel room. Very warm welcoming into room you call and get a access code. The layout and furniture is very modern. Full kitchen huge bed two a/c bathroom and shower very clean new toilet seat. A full kitchen sink and stove with a oven and cookware, coffee machine with creme, sugar, and coffee grounds. Dish soap and a sponge. Plenty of towels and soap and lotion. Was looking for night away, live only 30 mins from montauk. Always go on booking.com and other hotel deal sites. In the past we have gotten 50-80% off hotels last minute in areas like miami beach and fort lauderdale in 5 star hotels. So when we saw a random weeknight going for only $28 dollars we pounced on it on booking.com. We were so excited we got such a great deal! Only to be contacted by the hotel minutes later saying the cancelled it. They input the price wrong. We called booking.com they said they are not even suppose to contact us, they should have contacted booking.com first. Mistakes are made sometimes, but for their management to be rude to my girlfriend was wrong. she has never been to montauk and it turned her off. they were very snobby, and stuck up, saying that "montauk would never be that cheap" like its the most exclusive place to ever stay. Bascially calling her stupid for thinking a deal would be that low. So it was cancelled and we will not be staying there. Your staff made a mistake typing the price in, you should be more thorough before you push submit, and not be rude for first time guests when they think they hit the jackpot with a great deal in a great hotel! read more

I saw another review that described this place as "meh" and that's really the best way to describe it. The pros are that it's decorated nicely, the beds are comfortable, and the beach is literally right across the street (with the awesome views that come with that). However, on the whole I feel like the negatives outweigh the positives. First, there is no customer service here, at all. Check in/check out is by text, no one answers the phone, and it's nearly impossible to make contact with someone for assistance. We had an issue one of the days we were there but the only staff on site was the cleaning service and we were told we'd have to wait until the next day when the "director of operations" would be there; then when we called the next day, the director wasn't even there. The rooms are fairly clean but the floors were gritty in some places and there were random dust balls all over the place-nothing that caused us to say it was too gross to stay there, but still not the best. The hello coco restaurant had good food but we had to wait an hour for breakfast and the food was cold by the time we got it, again because there is barely any staff. Finally, there were a lot of random hidden costs. The one that made me the most annoyed is that you get one complementary bucket of ice (during your entire stay) and then after that they charged $5 for each small bucket. It may seem small but when you're spending thousands of dollars to stay somewhere it's actually absurd to have to pay $5 for what amounts to maybe two cups of ice. Also, in their policies they mentioned that they charge $150 extra for a cleaning fee if you have a service animal with you. I don't have a service animal so I don't know if that's standard practice but that seemed absolutely ridiculous to me and I felt like it should be highlighted. All of this brings me to my overall point, which is that you are not getting a product that is worth the high price they charge. Everywhere in Montauk is expensive, but there are much nicer places and experiences in the same area that would be a better choice if you're willing to spend the money you'd be spending for this place. If you're going to shell out thousands of dollars for a weekend stay in Montauk, spend it in a place that will actually appreciate your business and act accordingly. This business acts like you should be grateful they let you stay there, when really they should be acting like they're grateful for your business. read more

Rude staff at check in. They gave us the wrong code for our room and we were unable to check into our room at 9:00 pm. There was no staff to help let us in. And their "emergency " number didn't work as no one bothered to ever pick up the phone. They didn't return email, texts or phone calls. Had to break into my room through a window. Terrible professionalism and zero courtesy. Whatever positive experience I did have was negated by total lack of consideration. Also the pics on the website are misleading. read more

This place is great! It's everything you would want for a beachside motel. Everything is exactly as described and better. Upon arrival, Luis, in the office greeted us with an upbeat attitude and explained to us everything we needed to know and recommend places to eat, drink, and go see. They have bikes you can take out all day for free so no worries about paying for rentals. This was a huge plus for us. The units are clean and newly remodeled and each has their own deck complete with picnic table, umbrella and lounge chair. Our unit had a full mini kitchen and a TV with cable. The room was well stocked with towels and all the necessities and had an AC unit. To get to the beach, all you have to do is cross the street. Couldn't ask for better! And it's an easy 13 minute walk to town. The bed and pillows weren't the best but they weren't awful. Minor thing is the walls are pretty thin so you can hear people in the other units. If you're a light sleeper, bring ear plugs. We didn't have any issues until the last night when some frat boys checked in next to us and made SO much noise until 5am. There is an emergency number to call but we weren't aware. I'm still happy to know they had someone on call 24/7. When we told Luis about the issue upon check-out, he was as upset as we were and addressed the issue promptly. We loved it here! it was the perfect little beach get away. Will definitely stay here next time in Montauk. read more

Great place! In my opinion - shouldn't be categorized as a motel at all! Service is excellent and the place is very modern and well taken care of. They provide complementary access to free bikes and a mini cooper s the ride/drive around if you need it. It's right by the water and close enough to everything in montauk. Each room is an individual little house so it doesn't feel like a hotel. There is also a nice pool and a bar. Highly recommend it for both tourists and locals, and would come back for a little getaway! read more

I've always loved coming here and love it even more now with the renovations. It's cozy, clean, modern and quiet. It's the perfect escape with the beach across the street and town nearby. They also have a restaurant on site now which is a plus! The only downside is they no longer have TVs which can really suck when you have kids and it's raining out. And we didn't have a grill like some other units so we couldn't BBQ like we use to. A bigger mirror would be nice too. Other than that everything is great. The staff is super nice too! read more
