Quaint, beachy chic studio one and 2 bedroom efficiency apartments. Mini fridge two burner stove sink table chars and all kitchen amenities included + towels hygiene kit and an iron. Beach towels available upon request. Beach chairs at front door. Heated pool area with ocean view. Caretaker is not on property 24/7, but available for most inquiries and requests. Common area with picnic tables and string lights available for use. No bbqs here. Walk across the street and down a short path and you have a nearly private beach. Close to town walkable distance, 7-Eleven and IGA nearby if you need anything.

Montauk at the Breakers is the smartest place to stay. Lovely spacious individual decks for each room !! Walking distance to the beach, parking lot....oh and of crs. A pool, a bar, and rooms with a view. Very convenient location, being a short drive, longish walk and quick bike ride to the heart of Montauk village. Beautiful ocean views from the deck of our suite, large enough for 4 adults to share. Small kitchenette and two bathrooms with a small seating area with futon sofa. Book suite 21 to start your summer vacation at The Breakers, in Montauk.

The Breaker Motel, you can check out any time you want..

If you can think back to those old seaside motels you saw in the 60s, this place would be straight off the movie set. Across the street is the ocean. The rooms have been updated and have cute little decks with a patio picnic table and umbrella. If your kids have wet bathing suits, you can keep them on your private deck while you serve them tuna fish sandwiches on wonder bread you made in the small kitchen. You want a glimpse of America? It's right here at the Breakers inn. I can't see this place all crazy with spring breakers and recent HS graduates. It really is set up for a family with a big station wagon on summer vacation. The inside room has been updated, it's small but accommodating. The shower was a little trippy. I turned the knob to the far right to get the water hot and after two minutes my wife was about to call the front desk. I turned it a smidge just before shutting off and the water was hot. Strange but true. You're not too far from Main st in Montauk your more than likely going into town for dinner. The room is sufficient for breakfast and lunches poolside. Is the motel glamorous? Nope. And I wouldn't change a thing. The bed was comfy, the pool was outside my front door and the floors were new. The bathroom did have a smell like someone soaked their sweat-socks in the sink but other then that, 4 Yelp stars from me

The Breakers was a nice base of operations in Montauk for our trip in June. Rates are, as expected, bananas, but fair compared to other options in the area. It's basically a social media-ified motel, complete with retro signage, all-white everything, and acai bowls for sale. We didn't come with a car, and it's about a 20 minute walk to town center, which wore on us towards the end of the trip. They have a deal with Mini Cooper where you can test drive a car for two hours, which we took advantage of to check out the light house. I wish we could have done that a few more times. It's easy to get rideshare services out here, but quite pricey, and it's much more fun to be driving around town exploring. The little white bungalows are fairly basic set-up, but the clean and beachy design worked well. Every room has an outdoor porch but they didn't seem too popular. The linens were lovely, but the mattress was somewhat unsupportive. We had no problems with the temperature control. Bathroom is tiny but nice. Malin + Goetz toiletries won me over. We didn't use the cafe much-- limited menu, limited hours, high prices-- but if you need a snack it'll work, and there's a nice patio setup. The pool area is cool, with big striped umbrellas, but it was a little too chilly to spend much time in the water. There were a few groups there midday but wasn't really a pool scene the way I imagined Montauk would be. On that note, the space basically shuts down at night. We turned in early one of the nights and it was silent and dark at 10 pm. Think everyone hangs out at Surf Lodge... The most crowded I saw it was for the free fitness classes every morning. They have boutique fitness brands from NYC leading classes on the lawn. It's a nice perk if you're into that. Front desk staff was super. Check in and check out was a bit slow but the people were nice. They will text you a code for the door so you don't need to worry about the office being open. We didn't run into any major issues while staying here. I got the Hamptons out of my system with this trip, so I can't say I'll be back, but the Breakers was overall a good experience. Book as far ahead as possible, as rates really climb and you'll feel silly dropping that kind of cash on a glorified motel.

It was a quaint motel. It is setup that you have your own mini house. While it maybe not exactly be wheelchair accessible, it is still a cute setup up for a mini family vacation or romantic getaway. They have a nice eatery upstairs above the bar area next to the bouquet. Prices are a bit steep but typical for the area. However parking is extremely limited at times and narrow. You can park on the grass along front on the property but there are no official parking strips.

Loved the room and all the place has to offer - No TV is ONLY complaint. *amd should have some Lighting in place due for trying to walk To and from your car at night. Pitch black The room and location was lovely. Clean. Modern. Comfortable. Beautiful pool area and private decks for each unit with a picnic table plus extra beach chairs. Full size loungers on the grassy areas. Very comfortable bed, super clean and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything needed to cook a meal. BEST coffee amd real creamers etc supplies left in the kitchen I have ever had in a motel/hotel. Seriously good coffee. Two minute walk to a beautiful sugar sand beach. Only problem - NO TV in the units??? Sign out front says TV and heated pool. No tv though :(. Since it was a one night stay - I survived with no TV. Disappointed though as a short show before bed is pretty "normal". Due to COVID? No one answers calls or in the office to talk to to inquire about that "advertised feature" on the sign out front

Spent a night at the Breakers on August 1st. I wish we were able to stay longer. From the ease of checking in, to our last minute was perfect. Andre, front office was superb, friendly, professional and extremely helpful. Perfect location, beautiful private beach, great pool and immaculate rooms. The Hopper (free transportation) has a pick up at the motel as well. Everything was perfect, thanks Andre and team. We will be back!!

We ate breakfast and lunch at the Dune Cafe. Food was delicious. I will say maybe the Poke Bowls are a little pricy ($36) considering you order at the counter and eat out of plastic bowls with plastic utensils, but the fish was fresh and the bowl was delicious. Iced Coffee was $9, but that's an average price for coffee at this point. The bar food was amazing! We started with the mixology class which was so fun. Definitely loved that experience. The pretzel is huge and was so soft and perfectly salted. The hummus and pita were DELICIOUS!! I definitely recommend trying the hummus. We experienced the bathhouse which is nice and relaxing. We weren't able to get robes since they were short on robes and only offered them to spa guests. Understandable, but it was a little uncomfortable walking through the lobby in a towel. They didn't kick us out after 50 minutes, which was nice and we appreciated that. The pools were nice, they seemed maintained. The steam room and sauna were clean as well. The room we stayed in was nice and clean. I liked the different living areas. Note there are a few steps inside to walk up to the bedroom and bathroom. Also, there are steps and can be a substantial amount of steps to get up to the room depending on your room number. My only complaint is - we stayed during a light snowstorm. Although the snow was light, the stairs weren't cleaned and got slippery as we were walking to and from our room to the lobby. Would have liked to see the crew dusting off the steps. Overall, it was a nice experience. Still would say it was pricy for the off season, but I think it was well worth the money spent. Glad to say I stayed at gurneys at least once in my lifetime

Okay, people don't travel to watch TV, but you just want things to work and to relax, and constantly calling the staff to fix the TV and having them in your room failing to fix the TV is not relaxing. Make sure major items in the rooms are working, or have spares and replace them. Period. This place was then too cheap to offer real recompense and gave my family member some awful ski cap that probably cost about 30 cents. Just unacceptable at this price point.

The room has very little in the way of amenities - free water, sparkling water, popcorn, hairnets, and makeup remover. No bath robe or slippers, so be sure to bring your own. The pool is very small but it does go up to 8 feet, which is nice. The cafe/restaurant on the premises is awesome. We loved all of the baked goods including the ham and cheese miso scone, the croissants, and the cookies. This area of the beach was quiet during the week. Fun place to sun bathe, watch the surfers, and really relax. While we were at Marram, I also took advantage of one of their free meditation sessions. If you're there while Raymond is doing the meditation, definitely check it out! It was a very relaxing way to kick off our stay. The walls are hilariously thin, but nothing that we weren't able to sleep through. Our room faced the courtyard and I was worried that it would be too loud at night, but it seems like they're serious about enforcing the quiet hours, which is nice.
