This was such a great experience we even had to reschedule because we missed our first appointment and with that being said they were patient and kind and able to accommodate us when we came in. It was so nice. No one was there. We were the first customers with that also being said we had so much fun. The staff was great. We are definitely going to return because there's so much more. We did not get to explore. We loved it we got to bring some glass and it was such an exhilarating experience. Came here on a Saturday and it was emptied, probably because we came around 8pm. There's street parking and luckily it was late enough when we got there so there was parking up front. Before entering, you have to call them to open the door. There's a sign on there with their number. We purchased tickets online for axe throwing and check in was quick. Make sure to do the waiver online too. It'll be quicker so you can head on back to the axe throwing area. It was our first time so it was pretty interesting. We also saw that you can do both axe throwing and break room, which seemed pretty interesting too. My friends didn't want to rage so we did the next thing, axe throwing. lol They instruct you how to throw an axe and show you how as well. They'll also stand there to see you throw it before letting you be with your party. It was fun and a lot harder than it looks. The Ladies at front desk were super nice and patient as we were so new to this & we asked a million questions. Our group got VIP package of break room & paint room. Our group got our own private room for each event along with all the protective gears. With our own playlists, we were able to connect to speakers and enjoy the freedom of letting all our tension out with smiles & laughter. Seriously much needed for our Mom group to decompress. My dude and I did this for his Birthday this week. We were pretty unsure about it, but once we were in the room, we had a blast. I made a playlist for it and Sonia (I think?) helped me to connect my phone so we could destroy things to a proper soundtrack. There was also a tripod in the room, and the instructions were explained to us well. We did the 30 minute experience, and we brought our own box of bottles, on top of the 15 item per person box they include with your ticket. It was almost too much stuff! A warning: It gets hot. Especially in the summer. Even with the AC running, the amount of gear makes you heat up really fast, so dress lightly, and put that hair up in a ponytail! read more

Kinda loved this. First impression for me was the staff. Sonia was our main person but interacted with a young man as well. They were so professional and knowledgeable. They really added to the experience. Love that they have a free Photo Booth to do pics and gifs before (or after you go in). Great added touch. Sonia waited for us to put on a playlist and get our phone set up on the tripod to record. 20 min was perfect for two of us. Bats, crowbars and a sledgehammer were all options to use. It's not glamorous but it was fun. Tip for ladies over a certain age esp if you've had children. Go pee first and maybe be prepared. . I'm Looking out for you. The experience is good but overpriced to just throw cups at a wall and break them with baseball bats, sledgehammers and so on. Nothing to break but a basket of cups and then you run out and they charge you 20 for 10 more cups if you still have time. For the price their experience should be way more interactive. read more

Heck, my Grandson and I were looking for something to do while he was on spring break. We thought of this. we drove quite a distance and had no real expectations. We felt for the price and what we got to do it was worth the drive. We got a basic package. We had a great time we had enough glasses to break. It was clean. We felt safe. Don't be put off by the neighborhood or the "themed" entrance or that you have to call to have someone open the door - it's all part of the charm! When I first pulled up, I wasn't sure it was even really a business, but once we got inside and prepped, the kids were immediately excited. We did the paint-throwing activity. I wasn't sure 14-year-olds would be interested in the car-wrecking activity, but it turned out they were completely enthralled watching others do it. Our group had a fantastic time with the paint and the props - we took wonderful photos, and everyone genuinely enjoyed themselves. I'm taking off one star because even though we ordered extra paint, they still ran out. Also, the paint was too watered down, which made it harder to paint on the walls the way that activity is presented. NO! NO! NO! STAY AWAY! CAUTION! WARNING! Our group of "8" were given only "5" axes to use during the allotted paid hour time! 5 axes!!! We were told that this was company policy, to only have one axe per lane! The axes corners were dull and junky! 5 axes per 8 people is unacceptable!!! I HAVE been at another axe throwing establishment in LA and they gave you a plethora of axes for each lane, in which they were constantly rotating various axes styles and sizes to you...all for the same price as this one in Van Nuys. It is NOT worth your money...trust me on this!! It might be good if you are a couple and are given 5 axes for the two of you, but to be given 5 axes for 8 people...HORRIBLE policy! I will never be back and I will make sure I inform everyone I know to stay away from this place! read more

First time going to a rage room, and we went to town in some kitchen wear. Bats, mallets, crowbars we used them all. My favorite was just throwing plates against the wall. I'm glad I did it, but not sure I'd want to go again. Maybe I'm just not a rager. Our package just included plates and cups, would have been nice to have more of a variety of items. Came to Break Room for a last minute activity in lieu of our usual girl dinner and had a blast! My friend and I did the ax throwing and had loads of fun. We did not have reservations, but did call in advance to make sure we would be fine. Staff were very friendly, and they demonstrated us various throwing techniques, and checked in on us to see how we were doing. You could see the staff constantly cleaning. Came here with my daughter and husband in March 2023 for axe throwing. Used a Groupon deal and it went smooth. Staff was friendly and I like how you get your own semi-private section with one target board per person. Also thought it was cool they have white boards to keep track of score for the competitive spirits. Went back September 2023 with my cousins, husband and daughter for the September birthdays. We were initially going to do the rage room smashing ceramics and glass, but instead we opted to wreck a vehicle! Definitely was a bunch of fun for the 11 of us. Instead of smashing a handful of items in 20-30min we got to completely wreck a vehicle from like new to totaled in a span of an hour. They gave protective equipment: jumpsuit, plastic gloves and hardware gloves, & full face mask. Extra bonus is we got to play our own music which also hyped us up for the rage. It's without a question a big work out, we were all sore the next day. So worth it and would definitely come back again. read more

If you're claustrophobic might not want to do it cause the door is closed but it's really cool. Kind of like a hazy escape room. This place is has more fun in one space than should be allowed. Tried the rage room and axe throwing. I have never experienced a rage room before, but I loved it and will 100% be returning. There are bats and crowbars and a crate of breakables. You wear head to ankle covering (shoes are up to you, wore sneakers and was fine), the room is equipped with Bluetooth speakers so you can play whatever you want, and the amount you get to break is more than enough, though you may find you break things faster than the allotted time. Having been axe throwing before I knew what to expect, and it was that and more. The spacing between stations is excellent, there's a fun vibe with the music they play, and since it was just me and my Husband in the whole section we had a blast (went when they opened on a Wednesday). The staff was lovely. I wish I could remember their names, but whoever was working on August 23, 2023 from 4-5pm (including the lady who started after we arrived) was knowledgable, friendly, and genuinely cared if we were having fun. Jordan was our instructor was very helpful with teaching us the techniques + a really friendly guy. We got the private room in the back where we had 5 lanes of targets. It was perfect for our group of 6 because we didn't have to wait too long between throws. Highly recommend renting out that room to maximize your time, we had an hour for the room and it was more than enough time for all of us to get the hang of throwing. Omg this place is SUPER FUN! My friend booked us a 20 minute rage room session and I had a blast!! They give you a box full of plates, bowls, cups, and random breakable things. There are baseball bats and other tools in the room you can play with and you can connect your phone to their speakers to play your choice of rage music! There are 2 gender-neutral bathrooms. They provide protective clothes (long sleeves and long pants), gloves, and a face cover. There is a timer in the room so you're aware of how much time is going by. You can bring your phone in to take pictures and videos. Parking is street parking only - mostly metered. You must come wearing close-toed shoes. You'll have to sign a waiver before starting your session - and you're not allowed to be intoxicated in any way (drugs or alcohol) before your rage/break session for obvious reasons. read more

The guy taking care of the axe throw area was super nice about all strategies on how to throw an axe safely & properly. BUNDLE - AXE + RAGE $75 per person. I'd consider this pretty pricy, but you are doing an activity that can be pretty dangerous if not done correctly. A waiver must be signed prior to coming in. ATTIRE - I recommend wearing shoes that you don't mind messing up & will be walking all over glass in the rage room. They provide coveralls, gloves, & face shield. RAGE ROOM - You're given 20 minutes to break all things glass that is set up all together in a basket for you to grab & hit. There is a timer. You can use your own music & connect it to their bluetooth speakers. If you finish breaking everything from the basket before the 20 minute mark, you are welcome to leave early or purchase extra items for $2 each. I recommend pacing it. AXE THROWING - 45 minutes - Axes are short. We were taught 4 different ways to throw & it was all strategy. Aim, align, & figure out where your sweet spot is to either throw in front or behind the black line. Once you get it, you can also play a game with points. Kinda like darts, but with axes. You definitely can get a good arm workout. PERSONAL BELONGINGS - You're given a storage box to put all your belongings in & you are welcome to have your phone on you. Video & pictures are encouraged. Came here for the first time with my sister on a Saturday late afternoon. Parking is on the street only, metered in some areas (easy peasy!). You definitely want to make a reservation before heading over and I would make sure to sign your waiver beforehand as well. After we checked in, we waited a couple of minutes before putting on our jumper (goes over your clothes), you put on gloves and then put your belongings in a crate. You keep your phone on you, just be careful what pocket you put it in, one of the two has a hole in it! While you wait, they have a tripod with a fun background that you can take photos in front of. ... After waiting for a few more minutes, off we go into the room! You get a crate of glasses and vases; all fairly small. You can hook onto the room's Bluetooth and rock out to your own break room jams! (made all the difference!). We bought two tickets for 20 minutes (total $90) and 10 pieces each. You can bring your own, however there is an extra cost or you can buy more pieces. We honestly didn't use the full 20 minutes and sometimes when we would miss the glass, it would end up hitting the floor (doh!). I think the idea is super fun, but a bit pricey to do it often. read more
