I have had the same experience on previous visits but had hoped it had improved. I appreciate space is limited but I feel more needs to be done to manage this issue.

Most of the time she just flat out ignored us leaving us sitting around wondering when we would be helped. Ohhhhhh, this was a bad experience…read more After a few too many cocktails, my partner needed a little late night snack (and, somehow, Edinburgh doesn't have that many places open at 11pm for food). This BK is open until 12am every day, but they were very much in "getting ready to close" mode on a Saturday night when we visited. Chairs up, floors being cleaned, yet twenty or so customers waiting on or ordering food. We ordered via the screen inside a Vegan Royale Meal: a "crispy vegan patty topped with iceberg lettuce, vegan mayo, and a toasted sesame bun" with a side of regular fries and a soda. Except we got a nearly frozen patty on two very stale buns with no lettuce and no mayo, a half-filled unsalted piping hot fry, and soda water because the fountain machine was only spitting out carbonated water. The trash cans were overflowing and everything had a layer of stickiness to it. It's about what I was expecting, TBH.
