5 stars - Highly recommend One Love Photography!…read more We had such a great experience with One Love Photography, especially with our photographer Nicole. She did our engagement photos too, which were our first time doing any kind of professional shoot, and she made it feel so easy and natural. She really captured us beautifully. We just got our wedding sneak peek back and are blown away. Nicole was the perfect person to have with us on the day--she kept everything light and fun, and made us feel totally at ease. She's so so so talented. The whole One Love team was great to work with. They checked in throughout the process with surveys to understand what was important to us and offered helpful feedback based on their experience with our venue. On the day, Nicole's assistant photographer Megan was also lovely--we love the photos they both captured and feel so lucky they were recommended to us.

What I loved most about Linneth's style is the genuine emotion she captures in her photography as well as the beautiful lighting and color tones. Our photos came out light and bright; soft and sharp in all the right places; vibrant in colors and emotions. She also has amazing intuition and knows all the perfect shots to capture. It's valuable to have someone with her experience, especially when you're working with other vendors like a videographer. She led the creative direction for both the photos and videos throughout our special day. Linneth is also very easy to work with. We met at a cafe for about an hour during our consultation and instantly connected. For our engagement shoot, Linneth provided site recommendations based on what we were looking for and even hiked with us into Huddart County Park to get the perfect photos. Despite our initial fears of having a tight schedule with our vendors during our wedding, we were surprisingly ahead of schedule and even had time to capture sunset photos outside before she had to leave. They are by far my favorite shots of the day! We can't thank you enough, Linneth, and we're so lucky to have been able to work with you! Thank you for making everything super easy and for the beautiful memories.

The album turned out with fantastic and natural movements, moments, lighting...and we never even really posed--she captured every moment with a great EYE! Aside from just taking our photos, she was a pleasure to work with and so accommodating to what we envisioned yet applied her knowledge where it was necessary. Honestly, I want to book her for everything we will have in the future--showers and baby photos are already on my list to hire her for :) We are SO grateful we had her as our photographer...I couldn't even dream up better pictures from our engagement to our wedding. The beautiful photo galleries on Micaela Go's website speak to her abilities as an artist. With…read morethis review, I try to highlight the person behind the camera. My wife and I had the joy of working with Micaela and her partner, Chris, for our marriage ceremony in August 2023 at the Marin Civic Center. From our first online inquiry, we had an exploratory call with Micaela the same morning. She asked insightful questions and listened attentively, then Emailed us a draft schedule/flow for our photoshoot day. We sought private photos as a couple, followed by photos of our wedding ceremony. I explained that in the hour leading up to the ceremony, I needed to step away to arrange chairs and coordinate with my officiant. My wife, meanwhile, wanted a final photo of just our wedding cake at the reception (at a nearby restaurant). Micaela took everything in stride, reassuring me that every wish we had could come true without ever changing our budget. On the day of the shoot, my wife and I were running a few minutes late. Micaela helped put us at ease, like a long-time friend. Chris brought along a rolling cart to free our hands of belongings. Micaela found beautiful angles, highlighting us against the breathtaking architecture of the Civic Center. As the afternoon progressed and the sun shifted in the sky, she at times led us back to prior spots to catch follow up shots with the evolving light. In the hour between our private shoot and our ceremony, she and Chris captured candids of our family members as they trickled in. Micaela also coordinated with my officiant to help us determine the most photogenic placement of the chairs, relative to the backdrop. After the ceremony, Micaela stayed behind with us to capture countless additional family portraits. At the restaurant, they were only required to photograph our cake, yet they stayed longer and captured extra photos of the start of our reception dinner. Micaela's final work product was over 500 professionally edited photos and over 60 film captures, the latter providing a very unique "retro" look. We were so impressed with her warmth, her communicativeness, her technical and artistic proficiency, and her generosity to give us more than was required. We convey our highest thanks and recommendation.

This is a review that should have been written months ago…read more Ahlin Photography is a business led by Elisa Ahlin, arguably one of the best wedding photographers I have ever seen. She shot out wedding 6 months ago in Balboa Park and was extremely professional and really added an extra element of pizazz to our special day making sure nothing went undocumented! Just when I thought it was near impossible to find an awesome photographer that was not financially an arm and a leg without compromising quality, Elisa came to the rescue! The thought of settling on a less skilled photographer for budget issues on the most important day in my life was out of the question. She is still affordable in spectrum for most budgets and her talents and skills do not go without notice. Elisa and and her second photographer were a perfect team and both myself and my husband had equal amounts of fun with them as they very creatively photographed our wedding party and made sure to include every special detail and moment of our first minutes as a couple. I highly recommend Elisa as the gal to shoot your wedding! And one of my favorite things about her service is she is very quick to respond back to phone calls/e-mails/concerns/etc. This is a quality very important when answers are needed quickly in the midst of event planning. Six months later I still drool over our wedding photos and admire every detail in them I didn't notice the last time I looked! And the feedback from family and friends after seeing our pictures has been above and beyond! For any future photography needs, Elisa is the first person we call!

The engagement pictures turned out beautiful and she helped us so much by giving us a guideline of the wedding day, so we weren't lost. The MANY wedding pictures came in the mail in a beautiful wooden set. Super creative. She adjusted her schedule to work with us and I'm really glad about that since we picked her kind of last minute. Because I had my wedding in the afternoon, we had to rush to get the most of the sunlight, but she managed it perfectly and we had beautiful pictures with our families and friends and amazing ones by the beach. The fact that we had two photographers was also awesome, so they caught every moment on camera. I just wish she would have given us more pose ideas for the pictures. But they look amazing and everyone loves them! They don't look repetitive. In a few pictures she didn't pay attention to some details and ended up getting half of a groomsman face or cutting someone's arm off the picture. But that happened in just a few pictures. Overall, I really love my wedding pictures and am really happy we picked Elisa Ahlin as our photographer! All my family and friends won't stop complimenting us on the pictures. I would recommend Ahlin Photography! Thank you very much Elisa :)

Of seven wedding photographers my husband and I met before our June 2007 wedding, Ammie and her…read morepartner Mark stood out for both personality and their beautiful pictures and albums. They were at the middle of the price range, and to us, easily the best price-to-performance. We met Ammie at a wedding faire, where several of her album samples got our imaginations going--they are so artful, and each one tells a different story. We also noticed that people in Ammie's pictures look relaxed, not posed or tense, and a lot of personality comes through. Since our wedding photographer would be interacting with us and our nearest & dearest throughout our wedding day, we wanted someone we'd enjoy being around, who could add good energy to the day. After meeting with her again, we went with Ammie. She struck us as genuinely pleasant, energetic, and excited about what she does. We were so right. Ammie and Mark were professional, artful, hard-working, and great fun to work with. Ammie met at our venue (a long drive) a couple weeks before the wedding to go over our plans. Her ideas and questions ended up helping us to better plan our wedding day. She was receptive to our preferences and had great ideas to improve on our requests (without ever being pushy, as some others we met seemed to be). For example, we wanted a photo of all our guests on the large front porch at our venue. Ammie improved on our idea. She took the shot from the balcony above, catching everyone looking up at her, each face visible. Ammie and Mark were a complete pleasure to work with on our wedding day. During bride and groom "prep" photos, Ammie even helped me get my makeup and corset-back gown right--while snapping some great photos. She knows a LOT about weddings--she's been at quite a few! During the ceremony and reception, Ammie and Mark were unobtrusive yet somehow magically in the right place at the right time to catch all the key moments. The photos are a beautiful mixture of the scenery, details, people and events of our wedding. Ammie made great use of our venue--picking a lovely staircase, balcony, fountain, french doors... for some very artistic pictures. The candids are great too. They found and featured our closest friends and family, and got a good face shot of almost every guest--and amazingly caught their personalities spot on. The photos tell our wedding story--all the smiles, laughs and deeper feelings during the ceremony; the Best Maid interrupting her toast to point out some deer passing outside (and the laughter after); my parents dancing their classic-style swing--it's all there in the very-high-resolution digital negatives. We'll enjoy them, and prints from them, for many years.

Throughout the event, she wasn't obtrusive, yet was able to get all the shots she needed to create a gorgeous finished product. We just picked up our wedding album and we couldn't be happier! The design is clean, elegant and just beautiful. We highly recommend Amy and would use her again in a heartbeat!

OMG I had the most fun with Liza after winning a photoshoot…read moreexperience via Instagram! She made the entire process seamless with a discovery call and booking the shoot. On the day of, I was treated like a literal princess. Hair and makeup was a dream - vibes were high, my curls were painstakingly touched up with a teeny tiny curling wand, and the lovely artist that Liza works with had just gotten back from a masterclass where Rihanna's makeup artist called her complexion work FLAWLESS. What's a girl not to love? The studio space is in an industrial area in San Jose and is tiny but mighty - somehow Liza has been able to create absolute magic with so many sets all crammed together. Did I mention the racks of gorgeous lingerie, robes, and accessories? Because yeah, you get access to all of that too. Before shooting, Liza sits down and gives you a quick pep talk. She reminds you that you are beautiful just as you are and that this experience is about celebrating you. I loved that - she totally put me right at ease. We had so much fun shooting that we ended up finishing about an hour later than planned (oops). I was delighted to be the first client to try her new bathtub set up in her Morocco set, which is even more stunning in person, if you can believe it. Liza posed me expertly and even contorted herself to help demonstrate - what can't this woman do??? We finished off with a bubble machine and it was epic. She has gorgeous books to choose from along with digitals and prints. I'm sure there's something for every budget. I have my reveal tonight and just know I'm going to have my jaw dropped. I've been telling all of my friends they need to book with Liza because this was truly the most fun experience! I felt so glamorous and all of my Dita Von Teese boudoir dreams came true.

Planning engagement photos can be so stressful. You always want the best pictures in the best setting. My wife and I love the mountains, so our aim was to take some photos in the wilderness, especially in winter when we can capture the beauty of the snow. Liza provided the best experience to make it happen! She was more than willing to drive a few hours to find the perfect spot. Last year in California, we experienced epic snowstorms, so it was only right that we headed straight into it! Liza never hesitated, and the results speak for themselves. She was so professional while making sure we were comfortable throughout the entire process. I mean, this girl was amazing! She looked like someone right out of a National Geographic photo shoot. It was like she was born to do this! Thank you for all your time and effort, Liza. It shows in all of these pictures! We've only seen the sneak peeks from the wedding, but again we were thrilled with the outcome. Lighting, composition, and guidance made every shot a "10 out of 10!" If someone is looking for an excellent photographer, Liza is now my only recommendation!
