I WANTED to celebrate our anniversary with professional pictures, and my husband looked at me with withering eyes and said, "Yes, dear." My mom and dad NEVER took pictures when we were growing up, and I want my husband and I to make sure we document our lives with photos. I found Majesta's work while browsing a wedding blog in late December 2012, and immediately emailed her! Keep in mind that I had only been married for three months by then, and I wanted to secure her for a September photoshoot in 2013. She was very nice; I'm sure she laughed at me in her head, but her email assured me that she'd love to take our pictures and to contact her once the date grew closer. Closer (in my eyes) was April 2013, so we emailed, secured a date, and that was that. I hadn't even met Majesta yet, but when a lady came to my house to buy my leftover wedding decor, I recommended she check out Majesta for her own wedding...and she did (and booked her)! Let's move on to September 2013... The day that we chose for our shoot ended up being rained out. I was soooo disappointed! Majesta handled it like a pro. She quickly responded to my emails, and even though she had plans to shoot another couple an hour+ away, she rescheduled our shoot for the following day (Sunday). We were referred to Aimi by a friend of mine (she did my friend's engagement session and wedding recently). I believe Aimi has only been doing wedding photography for a little over a year? But she is AMAZING at what she does. She has a great eye. She's very patient and has an easy-going personality. We felt really comfortable around her during the shoot. Sadly, due to Covid, our big wedding had to be postponed a couple times and then ultimately cancelled. Fortunately Quianna offered to shoot our backyard elopement and I am forever grateful to have those pictures from our ceremony. It wasn't the day we envisioned but she still captured some amazing pictures. She was always accommodating of our request to change dates (May 2020 to August 2020 to May 2021) and was extremely understanding of our ultimate decision to cancel instead of postponing another year.
