We found this place on Yelp and knew we needed to try out be pão de queijo hamburger. The place itself is cozy, with sidewalk seating and inside open air seating, as well as a small high bar counter. Service was very friendly and welcoming. We were impressed with the options on the menu. We started with a pão de queijo do dia appetizer that came with a creamy soft cheese and an espresso butter which was very unique and incredible. They rotate pão flavors but you can buy frozen ones to take home and try them all. They have a good selection of craft beers and cafes. I had to try the cafe milkshake with was delicious and filling. They also sell the coffee beans for home use as well. For food we tried the burger and the chicken sandwich. They come with an option of a salad, cubes of fried polenta. We tried the polenta which was a good size accompaniment but the fresh salads looked delicious too. The burger was delicious but the chicken sandwich was a little too much. It was topped with pesto and smothered in cheese but a little too rubbery and salty. I didn't have room for dessert but they have pão de queijo filled with doce de leite or goiabada. Definitely worth checking out!

Great place for trying hand made Pao de Queijo. Good beer and sandwiches, even vegetarian options…read more Good for a quick local bite.

Mushroom & cheese combo was too thick and clumpy. The tomato & mozzarella was lighter. (Bruscare means toasted bread) This bread was fluffy room temp.Fettuccini Limone was delicious (the cream sauce could be a lot less thick so the lemon can be balanced with the cream. (Could not separate the strands of pasta for the heavy cream/cheese.) Shrimp were sautéed perfect. Service: Vinicius provided great table service and was very knowledgeable on menu and wine choices. In fact all the staff I observed took special care to provide a great personal touch. Ambiance: This landmark spot could use a little touch up to the mosaic banquets (more pillows to sit on & for back support.) Chipped and gouged edges and missing tiles need attention. Dark green walls need refurbishing. (The Devil is always in the details.) When we visit this landmark spot we enjoy all it has to offer. The books and periodicals are of a great variety and add a literary touch to the cafe.

It was still overall pretty good and decently affordable as an american. the service wasn't fantastic, my partner asked for water several times and it wasn't brought until the 3rd time and they only brought one instead of two so I didnt love that but the establishment is super cute so they really have that going for them. nice seats, nice tables, large tables for big groups and they had wonderfully made art on the wall, a huge array that looked from the same artist which was cool. Id try the spot if you're looking for dinner but it shouldn't be overhyped
