There are so many options to choose from (fiction, art, and you can literally spend hours walking around through every nook and cranny. We met the owners and they were so nice! They will gladly tell you about the store and even give you recommendations. These are used books so they are priced lower than regular books. If you're a mystery, crime, or espionage lover, this place is for you. And if you aren't, there's a good chance this place will still have something that will catch your eye. I was their first participant and Ms. Nikki made me feel so welcomed. I love how the bookshelves are arranged with the new books in front and as you walk through the building they're sectioned off with various fiction, sci-fi, nonfiction, children's, religion, and suspense books. Plus they have a sign that tells you the prices for used hardback and paperback books. The new books are pricier but I know they're worth it at least for me. This was a real treat to check out.

This is a lovely small bookstore and the staff is very friendly and willing to help you find what you need. The books are pretty much spread out so they try to organize them in alphabetical order but it was hard to figure out genres where they're at exactly so I had to ask for help and of course it was right in front of me lol I will say the value of the books I was looking at were way higher than I expected than online prices but I get it that it's a local bookstore. Plus it's a brand new hardcover book. Other than that it's a cute shop and they seem to have fun events from time to time here so I'll check it out.

It was pretty busy when I walked in, but it felt good in there. Not chaotic, just full of life. You had couples talking, kids enjoying books, families hanging out, and people like me sitting with a laptop just minding our business. Now let me say this...Kindred can do no wrong in my book. When I realized they were playing the entire What's the 411? album, I had a whole moment. Like oh yes, y'all knew exactly what you were doing with that. The atmosphere just pulls you in. The music, the conversations, the energy. It makes you want to stay a while. What I really appreciated was how diverse and comfortable the space felt. It felt welcoming without trying too hard. I came in just to pass time, but I left feeling recharged. And that says everything. This is not just a bookstore. It is a place you go when you need to sit down, breathe, and get yourself together for a minute. Yeah... I will absolutely be back.
