They have a private, kids area/room in the back, which my kids enjoy very much so they often head straight there upon entering the store. The kids' area isn't as filled to the brim like the big chain bookstores, so my girls don't get overwhelmed with choices. Their displays are changed frequently so there's always new things to look at. The stuff gives knowledge recommendations, are always patient and friendly. They host many book events in person and on zoom. They also have a great stationery selection. I just love this bookstore.

If you're a mystery, crime, or espionage lover, this place is for you. And if you aren't, there's a good chance this place will still have something that will catch your eye. The staff is kind & passionate about reading. There's even staff-recommended books which is always fun. This place holds book signings, crafts, & other engaging events. Most of the time when I visit, there's something going on. The community building they facilitate is amazing! The knowledgeable staff provides personalized recommendations, creating a welcoming atmosphere for readers. While in today I picked up Oyinkan Braithwaite novels: My sister the serial killer and Cursed Daughters. An employee informed me that she would have a book signing 11/13. Perfect timing! I can't wait to meet her. The other two books I purchased were Death in a Budapest Butterfly and Play the fool. Murder by the Book is a book lovers dream. I was their first participant and Ms. Nikki made me feel so welcomed. I love how the bookshelves are arranged with the new books in front and as you walk through the building they're sectioned off with various fiction, sci-fi, nonfiction, children's, religion, and suspense books. Plus they have a sign that tells you the prices for used hardback and paperback books. The new books are pricier but I know they're worth it at least for me. This was a real treat to check out.

This is a lovely small bookstore and the staff is very friendly and willing to help you find what you need. The books are pretty much spread out so they try to organize them in alphabetical order but it was hard to figure out genres where they're at exactly so I had to ask for help and of course it was right in front of me lol I will say the value of the books I was looking at were way higher than I expected than online prices but I get it that it's a local bookstore. Plus it's a brand new hardcover book. Other than that it's a cute shop and they seem to have fun events from time to time here so I'll check it out.

They have a variety of activities such as trivia, book clubs and craft events during the week. We went during a quiet time between finishing up their craft and trivia was starting later that evening.
