Since they came from Sprout's cool area, I assumed the temp had been too low for melons. I called and spoke to someone in produce to let them know. The person seemed genuinely concerned and I suggested he cut one open to check. Since I ordered thru DoorDash, I didn't see how a refund would be possible, so I didn't pursue. I just hope they remove any other melons that met the same fate before anyone else purchases.

Publix is an amazing place to go shopping and Florida is lucky to have them here. Easy access off and on Hyperluxo and there is plenty of parking in the lot. This store has big entrance and currently there are people in the entrance taking and sanitizing the carts. The store is very big and bright and the isles are very spacious. There are big signs above the entrance to the isles clearly telling you what's in the isle. Honestly, it was easier to navigate here then some markets i regularly shop at. The team here is very friendly and helpful. Everyone who has ever assisted me did it with a smile. Team members have also offered to go to the isle and get the product I was asking about. The customer service here is amazing! The deli counter is huge and the people here are terrific. The counter is big, and they also have a sandwich and hot food area. Dairy and meat, and fish counters are big and easy to navigate. I like the idea that they have a very comprehensive supply of wine and beer. We don't have the wine store in our supermarkets in New York, it's a nice touch. Check out is always a snap and I love how they always have a bagger to help. The really nice touch is how they ALWAYS ask me if I would like someone to bring my groceries to the car. (I guess being a senior citizen has its advantages. They also have an amazing bakery with a very complete selection of fresh cakes, breads, classic items. Kudos to Publix and their management team for creating a great shopping experience for their clientele.

ZERO customer service. Then she tells me I'm suppose to drive around to different pharmacies to see where they will have the medication in stock. Who will actually tell someone to do that?????? It's a horrible way to treat patients. Sorry, drive around and if you can't get the medication you're on your own. If I could give this location a negative star I would. They don't even deserve the 1 star. Would not recommend anyone to come in to this location.

The produce section is very cramped, and there are no overflow sections for the Aldi finds section, which shares an aisle with the baking supplies. But the staff is awesome, so friendly and kind, and the hot Aldi finds items don't seem to disappear on the first day. The parking is ok, with a couple of pull-up parking spots on one side. It's so convenient to get to from I-95, plus it is a fairly newer store with a standalone building. Busier on the weekends, of course. There are no self checkouts at this location, which I think is great! Some of my go-to's are the grass-fed ground beef and the organic bags of apples. I enjoy the Aldi brand for processed items due to their policies. For my kids lunches, we get the organic fruit gummies, the rice cakes, the banana chips, and the Aldi-brand laughing cow cheese. The frozen protein waffles are a hit. We get Aldi knockoff cereals (cornflakes, rice krispies, chex), and as a treat on occasion their lucky charms cereal. It took me a long time to enjoy shopping here after primarily shopping at Publix, but I like having limited selections of products, the affordability of the Aldi brands, the option of their natural line, the fun of the finds aisle, and not having a giant store to get lost in.

I rarely ever have to wait at the deli to get slices meats and cheeses. I try to nab my favorite BOGOs on the items that I can't get anywhere else, and most recently I got the spices I needed- in glass containers- with a BOGO spice deal. Win! I also like to look at their greenwise meat and seafood options. I've recently been grabbing their cuban rolls, which are like a shorter sub roll, that my kids really love. In general, still enjoy the atmosphere of the shopping experience here.

A couple of Aldi reminders if it's your first visit: bring your own bags if you can, and don't forget a quarter for a shopping cart (you'll get it back when you return the cart). I also appreciate the self-checkout, which made getting in and out fast and hassle-free. All the workers in the store are available through out the store to provide any answers to questions on what available and even provide free samples if asked! I also will say the breads and pastries are delicious and definitely worth purchasing especially since it's much cheaper to buy there versus at one of the bakeries on the island. The portions were a decent size especially the steak - 8 ounces. All the items tasted great and thumbs up for the plastic recyclable packaging. Finally, the woman who assisted me with my meal was lovely. The store is clean, well organized, and easy to maneuver. I highly recommend.
