I had a fitting with Tara today, and was seeking something interesting and special for upcoming events - I ended up buying much more than I intended as everything she selected was adorable, well made and made me feel like a million bucks. Apparently I've been suffering with ill fitting lingerie and everyday panties for years - this place is now top of my list for gifting and the effort we deserve to feel good in what we wear, especially after 40, PLUS they make custom swimwear! I was very disappointed by my visit here. I typically wear a 28-30 band size. I told the fitter when I arrived I was wearing a 30 band size but I felt the bra was too big. She measured me, then offered me some 34 band size bras, which were obviously huge on me. I was so disappointed by this, these are the kinds of tactics used by major chains to compensate for their bad inventory. I told my fitter that this wasn't going to work and was told they had only 1 bra available in 28-30 band size. I ended up buying something in desperation, but I am probably going to return it as it is simply not comfortable. I was really expecting this place to be cool and size-inclusive from their reviews & website and this was not the case. My wife had an unprepared virtual fitting in May, numerous communications with no response from Bravo in multiple methods over the course of months, and when she had documented evidence to return products outside their normal policy, they would not accept them. Bravo said they would provide a shipping label to return their product but never followed through. My wife was getting different messages from different representatives about whether or not she could return the products and processes. The representative that spoke to my wife, Rebecca, was exceptionally rude to her, highly hostile, defensive and even hung up on her. The lack of professionalism, and absent communication is an embarrassment. Avoid this business! read more

So many women have had a great experience here and I very much wish I was one of them. I don't want to denigrate their business or disregard their many happy customers but the business was non-responsive to my on-line contact regarding my experience, so here we are. Although pricy, I was committed to rebuilding my bra wardrobe after a major weight loss and planned on purchasing two bras that day and two per month after. (I'm newly retired and on a budget.) The fitting with Nichole (someone who seemed a bit inexperienced to me but turned out to be the manager) started out fine. She determined my size but apparently, they simply didn't have much for me and nothing that fit properly. (I looked online afterwards and it appears to be the case.) My size combo is a very unusual one so I don't fault them for that. I fault them for THE LACK OF INTEGRITY in trying to fit me in bras that so obviously didn't fit and then selling me on one that sort of fits. I would not be writing this review if someone could have simply said "I'm sorry, we don't have your size." I had also planned to buy a sports bra that day (they did have my size in two options) but Nichole was done with me at that point and I still needed her help to figure them out. When I went to return the unworn, non-fitting bra (I'm stuck with the other one), my attempt at a constructive conversation with Nichole did not go well. She claimed that I had lots of options but "didn't like any of them" (she changed the subject when I asked her what those options were) and that I was happy when I left wearing the bra (I was neither happy or wearing the bra) and then she sarcastically called out "Good luck in finding a bra" as I left. read more

The lady that "fit" my elderly mother, fit her improperly. And even though my mom told her that she has rheumatoid arthritis and has it so bad her fingers go sideways and that's why she needed so much help, sold her a bra that A. doesn't fit (whole point of this place I thought) B. sold her a bra that has a ton of clasps! I don't see how any of that makes sense! My mom also had a stroke recently so she is easily taken advantage of. I was in the store with her but not in the fitting room. I am 50 years old and have never had a properly sized bra. I have an entire drawer of bras that were bought online worn once and then set aside for various reasons. After a quick measurement, Nicole brought me 4-5 styles of "basic" bras, all of which fit PERFECTLY. (Did you know there is an "I" size cup???). I bought 3 news bras which feel like clouds. This shop was having an event, with fitters from the companies, so I made an appointment. I was hurriedly greeted by the owner and taken into a fitting room. After a brief consult, she went to get a few bras to try. She came back with two, neither of which fit. She came back with another one I didn't care for at all. Then she said, that's it. That's all I have, and left the fitting room. There wasn't any 'I'm so sorry' or, 'let me see what I can find' or, 'let me ask one of the associates from the company if they have any suggestions'. Nothing. She didn't even say goodbye. It was quite obvious she wanted me out of her store. Their products are top notch, and a business like this is crucial if you have breasts bigger than a bee sting. (Victoria's Secret and the plus-size shop bras are all for suckers with any boob heft. They do not support!) Custom bra fitters are extremely important to the large breasted crowd, not only for skeletal/muscular health, but for confidence as well as having your clothes fit better. Also, bra fittings can be a very vulnerable experience. Not only is one half naked in front of strangers, but there are a lot of lighting and mirrors. Weight gains and losses, scars, illnesses, surgeries, skin conditions, EVERYTHING is on display. There are no secrets! All sorts of emotions go through your head when fitting for bras. It is extremely personal, which is why the fitter MUST have compassion and patience. There is none of that at Bra-vo. Unfortunately it's not the first time this has happened to me in this shop. Everyone has bad days, so I gave the benefit of the doubt and tried again, only to be disappointed, AGAIN. Not because they didn't have bras for me, but because I deserve to be treated with respect. I have visited many lingerie shops/custom bra fitters in the US, Canada, and England, and every one of them treated me kindly and compassionately, as with their other clients. I've gone to Bra-vo because it's close and convenient, but there are other custom fitters in the Detroit area. From now on I will go to one of them or make a point of visiting an out of town spot, should I have the opportunity to travel. Regardless, I will no longer be patronizing Bra-vo. My mental health and I deserve better. read more

Local, independent - what's not to love? Well, the bras for one. I decided to bite the bullet and go get 2 expensive, great-fitting bras, so I headed over to the local, independent bra store in RO. i had a fitting and was told I have been wearing the wrong size for years (I had heard this was quite common, so I was encouraged I was making a good investment). The fitting was a lil awkward, but to be expected, i guess. I tried on several bras and decided on one functional t-shirt bra and the other is a lil prettier, and both fit terribly. I learned about this store 4 years ago when I moved back to the area. A couple of people had referred me to another popular store for special bra sizes, which is in the same area. I forgot the name of the store, and happened upon Bravo Intimates actually while being lost. Which was the best "mistake" I could've made. I've since been to this store 2 other times, and I have had a pleasurable experience each time. What a difference it makes for being fitted for the right bra size. Every staff member that has assisted me, has been very pleasant and have made sure I walked out with the best options. I don't have a complaint, but if I could suggest some type of exchange policy for bras. Two of the bras I purchased, the underwire lifted out of the bras (both bras were the same style). And that was within 6 months of purchase. I think that both bras should've been exchanged for other bras. However, I did talk to a staff member about my concern, and she gave me feedback on different ways to wash my bras, to perhaps avoid that problem again. I will continue to shop at this store, and I would definitely recommend for women to try this store for a bra fitting, and accurate sizing. read more

I bought a bra and three months later a hook broke. When I tried to get an exchange the sales person accused me of machine washing the bra (I did not). She called me a liar in front of other customers. When I called Wacoal, the manufacturer, they said there are certain vendors who behave this way and they profusely apologized and are replacing the product. I've never been more disappointed with my experience at a place. I went in for a fitting appt, was excited to have a professional fitting and presumed I'd find a few bras to bring home. I was given a total of 4 bras to try on and none of them fit. I was told there was nothing they could do to help me. I'm not an odd shaped body, 36B range. I was shocked. I still had to pay a $10 fee for the fitting only even though, by their admission they could do nothing for me. I called the owner today to express my disappointment. She was probably the rudest business owner I ever spoke with, short on the phone and rude. I was in a dr office at the time she returned my call and I right away asked if she could call me back to talk. She said probably not they're short staffed so try to explain now. In the process, the dr walked in the room, I asked again if we could finish later she said she would not be able to call me back. Beyond acceptable. Great personalized customer service and fitting -- I left the store having purchased hundreds of dollars of bras. Unfortunately, after wearing one of the bras for several hours sitting, moving and driving, the underwire left a bruise on my chest. Yes, I removed the tags before wearing. The return policy is clearly posted in the store -- but, of course, I was extremely disappointed in the $75 bra, and was hoping to be accommodated with at least a store credit. But, that did not happen. I would recommend other retailers if you have ANY reason to believe you might need to return an item. read more

I'd heard nothing but great things about Bravo, so since my friend and I have a difficult time finding bras that fit, we planned a big field trip. I live nearby, but my friend drove nearly 90 minutes specifically to shop at Bravo. We didn't really *need* a fitting necessarily, but thought it might be helpful, and we definitely needed some help finding some challenging sizes (we both wear band sizes under 40 and cup sizes well over DDD). We were excited to shop and desperate to find some decent bras. Well, we couldn't get arrested if we tried in Bravo. Nobody greeted us, nobody offered to help; the most contact we had was when someone asked us to move out of her way so she could help another customer. That's fine, they're busy, we can wait (although a "Hi ladies, be with you in a moment" would be nicer than just stepping around us like we were roadkill). One lady behind the counter did sort of acknowledge us; she was cashing out someone at the register and overheard me tell my friend what size I needed, so she said "I have one" and waved a black bra in the air. At first I didn't even think she was talking to me, because she didn't even turn her head our way. When I realized she meant me, I said "Actually I need a beige plunge bra?" at which point she went back to ignoring us, never to speak to us again. We continued to paw hopefully through the stock on the floor, thinking that someone would come and help us as soon as they got a break from whatever they were doing. But after about 15-20 minutes of that, a fresh customer walked in off the street and immediately got an enthusiastic "Hello! Can I help you find something? Or would you like a fitting?" we decided that we just weren't welcome there so we walked out. Frankly, we didn't see a good variety of sizes in stock, nothing more than you'd see at any Victoria's Secret or Kohl's store. Definitely nothing in our size. We did overhear the cashier telling a customer that her size would have to be special-ordered, and their policy is that you pay in full when ordering, wait 4-6 weeks for it to come in, and there are absolutely no returns or refunds. SHEESH, I can get any old size online and return it for free - the whole benefit of going to a store is being able to try stuff on. So if you can't try it on and you can't return it, and definitely if you can't even get a "hello" out of the staff, why bother?? By the way, if anyone from Bravo is reading this: we drove directly from your store to Nordstrom, where between the two of us we dropped over $250 on bras. Hope you're on commission. read more

I Really wanted to like this store. As a fellow Royal Oak neighbor I constantly walk past the store saying I'm going to go in, one of these days. I scheduled a fitting time and when I arrived on time for my fitting no one was interested in addressing or acknowledging me. Afterwards staff did address me amongst each other in pronouns (who is she, does she have an appointment). After sitting there for a half hour (I get it they are busy) I got up and left. When they were ready for me, after I left they called me and apologized. I understand being busy but there has to be a better way to balance appointment fittings and walk in fittings. I really wanted to like this place, I really did. Every time I tried on a bra I liked, the fitter did not like it on me because the front underwire didn't touch my breast bone -- it was within centimeters at times, but trusting her judgement I kept trying things on. After trying on what felt like every bra in the store, we finally got something that touched my breast bone and she said that it fit right. I wasn't really all that fussed on how it looked, but I trusted her judgement and bought it anyway. As I was getting rung up, she explained that my breastbone "came in" and that's why I was having such a hard time, but she was glad we found something that worked for me. Of course it's not that they don't have bras that would fit me, there's got to be something wrong with ME. I got the bra home and wore it under a dress I bought for a date night. The underwire dug in really hard under my arms and between my breasts. It just hurt so much that I could barely wear the thing. I did manage to wear it for an entire day, and it felt like my breasts do when I go all day without wearing a bra. So, I went to Bravo to find a bra that fit better than anything else I've ever had, and I found the worst fitting bra I've ever experienced. I know since I wore the thing, I can't bring it back -- but I must say that it will take quite some time before I go back to this store again if I ever go back at all. Edit after comment 8/1/2013: Because my breasts are large and close-set, it's actually very difficult to find a bra that will sit on the breastbone without the underwire going into my armpits and jabbing me mercilessly. I also didn't like the tone of the sales person blaming my body for bras not fitting -- it's not your job to comment on my body, it's your job to find a bra that fits my body! I obviously cannot return the bra now years later, but Harps in Birmingham gets my business now. They are very nice and I am always satisfied with my purchases. read more

Unfortunately my one experience with Bravo has been very negative. And of course, this very negative experience happened to be related to a bra for my wedding. The fitting was great, I felt positive about that. However, then it all went down hill. Of course, I had to order a bra because I am a less than popular size. Unfortunately, my dress fitting was 2 days later and I had to buy a bra for the fitting elsewhere. When I attempted to contact Bravo to find out if there was anything I could do to "return" the bra I had ordered, I left a message and got no return call. The bra arrived 3 weeks later. My mom had to pick it up for me because... their hours are horrible for anyone who works--10am-5:30pm Tues-Friday and 10-5 on Saturdays. The woman was very rude to my mom when she went to retrieve the bra stating I needed to be there to try it on. My mom pointed out that they had already made it clear that I was stuck with the bra so what did it matter whether or not I tried it on? When I got the bra home I was extremely disappointed to find that it wasn't even the bra I had ordered nor was it even the same size. Long story slightly shorter... i went back in and they promised to order me a replacement in time for my wedding which was now a week and a half away. When I went to pick it up at 10am on a Thursday the day before leaving for my wedding... I waited until 10:15 and no one came to open the store. I left a message requesting a refund. I didn't get a call back until late afternoon stating that the owner had been in urgent care and didn't think it would take so long and that's why the store wasn't opened. I was sorry to hear that, but that's just bad business to not have a backup plan. I am anticipating a credit to my credit card and won't be going back. read more

I feel like I experienced somewhat of a "Pretty Woman" moment at Bravo. My apologies in advance that I have a six week old baby at home but I'm pretty sure I was wearing clothes, shoes, had my hair done and was even wearing makeup. I dressed up for you, Bravo! Why were you so mean? My first turn-off was the fact that there is a sign right when you walk in stating that you must pay for a fitting (if you don't buy a bra). Ok, I GUESS (????) that might make sense, what with all those women out in Royal Oak stealing bra fittings, or whatever. Ok, fine. So I sign in and eagerly await my turn, as I mentioned, baby at home waiting for food. I don't have tons of time to spare but am willing to put in the effort because as a nursing mom with a new bra size, I am in desperate need of support in a major way. My name gets called and I am immediately asked what I'm looking for. Bras -- nursing, regular, I tell her I just want to get sized and get a few bras that fit and work with what they have. I'm not picky at all! Which is good, because she doesn't seem interested in the style of bras I prefer, instead jumps to the measurement. This is where things get annoying. She won't tell me the size. She measures me (I'm paying for this, right) and then leaves to go retrieve some bras. I ask about size more than once - "What size is this one? What size am I?" throughout the appointment and she is super hesitant to share this apparently sacred information. But I'm getting ahead of myself. So she brings in a variety of bras and the long and the short of it is, none of them fit. I have an extremely weird size (32G, I think...remember, I had to sneak peeks when I could before she whisked the tags away). "The size doesn't matter," she says. Wait, but um, yes it does. I get it, women across the world are all wearing the wrong size. However, I came to get my size and buy some bras, but also to have the knowledge of what my size was so I could shop online elsewhere too. I don't have a ton of time on my hands to peruse fancy bra stores IRL. That's the only reason I came to this store in the first place, because of it's super easy and close proximity to my house. One would think, then, that since none of their "high end, specialty" bras fit me, they would give me my size, maybe some suggestions as to where to find bras out of the decency of their hearts. NOPE. SORRY. In face, I'm told "we don't carry Vanity Fair bras." Implying that I wear that brand? Excuse me, but I wear all your fancy Le Mysteres and Chantelles too, lady. And I'm pretty sure you aren't the only retailer that sells them. I was also told certain "high end" brands don't stock my size when in fact I found the exact brand and styles online when I got home. She tells me to check back in the spring, maybe they will have bras by then. Ummm..Ok so I'm supposed to have ill-supporting bras for the next few months in the off chance that Bravo decides to randomly stock up on size 32G bras. DOUBTFUL! Couldn't she have given me some suggestions as to where to go? As self-proclaimed bra experts, you think the people working there would be helpful in this arena if their store couldn't supply said needed product. That's called basic customer service. And furthermore, woman to woman, help me out, I need bras! Now, I'm just pissed. This place is a joke, how are they still in business with this type of service model? I went home with my size, which I think was my size again, she kept trying to confuse me...and ordered a bunch of bras on Bare Necessities (which is a great bra site, BTW). So in the end, I guess I won because I didn't pay to get my size. I think I was supposed to but I kind of just walked out after she left me to get dressed. Over it. i had a very positive experience at Bravo. Within seconds of walking into the store I was greeted and fitted. i, of course, have been wearing the wrong size for years, like most women according to Oprah. the bras i took home with me are AMAZING. finally cute bras in my size (freya is an awesome line) my favorite discoveries were a strapless bra that's actually comfortable and flattering (never thought i'd see the day...) and a SUPER supportive and comfortable high-intensity sports bra. i'm a runner and have been either doubling up on sports bras or wearing this other brand that i could hardly breathe in. in fact, some days i'd skip working out all together because i just didn't want to face my awful sports bras. (that's all changed!) suck up the cost and get yourself some bras that fit. read more

I called the store to make an appointment and was told there weren't any available to book, but my friend and I could walk in and be fitted. I drove 45 minutes to the store the next day. There was a sign on the door saying no walk ins allowed. I went into the store and saw Rebecca, the owner and told her I called a day prior and was told we could walk in for an appointment, the wait may be longer. I reminded her my drI've was 45 minutes. I have had AWESOME experiences in this store, and I'll tell you why. VISIT 1 I had talked up this place to a family member of mine. (I read reviews on other sites about this place.) And one thing to know about my her, she does NOT like trying on clothes, let alone bras. So I basically had to kidnap her and not tell her WHERE we were going, just that it was a good place & would be very beneficial. Longer story short, she LOVED it. And this is a woman who does NOT like taking her time on maintenancey sorts of things (y'know-- she'll put her lipstick on once a day and that's it). We were courteously greeted, told it would be a short wait (it was a busy Saturday afternoon), and soon a helpful woman came out and took us into the same dressing room (we were comfortable with that). After measuring my family member (who shall remain nameless to protect the innocent), the saleswoman rushed out to grab items in her size. Usually, this is what *I* frantically do in a lingerie or department store for my family member, as I hustle quickly, trying to get my family member into a right size before her patience runs out. That did not happen that afternoon. The woman returned with a VARIETY of bras, and my family member found 2 that fit her well. One was for daily use and one was a sports bra. See, here's the thing about this place--- they have unusual sizes that department stores, Victoria's Secret, Cacique and the like do NOT carry. My family member had bought a bra at Cacique. While she is not a large band size, she has a naturally large cup size, and it turned out to be a size we'd never knew was even POSSIBLE but fit her like a GLOVE! Suddenly, my family members' twins were up where they were SUPPOSED to be. She did not complain of any shoulder pain, and jumped up and down. She LOVED the way she looked, because now her waist looked smaller, because the girls were where they belonged! Her clothes IMMEDIATELY fit better. [SIDEBAR: Of note, she even TOOK A NAP in the bra later-- I woke her up, asked her if she was going to take it off, and she told me she was COMFORTABLE. That has NEVER happened before.] And then, I had the woman measure ME. Now, I'm not a super endowed woman on top, truth be told. So my family member and I figured I'd been in the correct size all along (I mean, there's only so much you can do). Turns out, I was in the wrong size!!! Both band AND cup size. HURRAY! I was all excited at my new numbers, to say the least. :) And I looked GREAT in them, if I do say so myself-- lifted and better without a ton of padding (yay!). VISIT 2 I brought a breast-feeding friend with me on this visit, and she ultimately found a good bra that fit her well. Her very full ladies were up where they needed to be, and her clothing fit better. Her little one was a few months old at the time. OTHER NOTES Once you're on their mailing list, they update you with new bra fittings and special event information. This place has pretty bras for the larger cup and band sized-women, as well as women with the smaller numbers. Everyone can look cute. And for those sizes where there aren't as many fun colors, the engineering involved in the product makes it worth its weight in gold anyway. It's mixed reviews here, but I would STRONGLY urge you to check it out yourself. Here's why: Get fitted. I thought I knew, because I'd been measured before, AND I've measured myself, and this is the BEST fitting bra I've had in my life, bar none. The prices are comparable to what you'd pay at a department store or Victoria's Secret, and in some aspects, even cheaper, because the quality knocks the socks off those aforementioned places. You get updates on special events and so on, and receive future discounts for your referrals. I LOVE Bravo! This is the first bra store I've ever been to that I felt fitted me properly. As a large busted person, I have few options for purchasing bras in-store. Typically I go to Lane Bryant during their 'semi-annual buy two, get two free bra sale' because it's be best deal someone with boobs like mine can hope for. With LB I would get (improperly) fitted and leave purchasing a bra that is definitely too small bust wise, and not going to hold up band wise. When I finally discovered Bravo, I leaped for joy. During my my multiple trips, I've been sized accurately each time and left in a comfortable bra that fit well. Bravo is a bit expensive. I've found that I typically pay entered $60 and $80 per bra, but it's worth it in comfort alone. As per usual larger sizes don't have the variety that smaller sizes do. Despite that, I usually have a few choices so I don't always feel like I'm stuck choosing between "sexy" leopard print, white, and white people nude. I do, however, have a hard time finding low cut bras that I'm able to purchase (and suffer through wearing) at Lane Brynat. I don't know boobie science, but I'm pretty sure it's possible to make low cut bras for large breasts. That isn't Bravo's fault, I'm sure - it's difficult to find low cut bras in my size anyway. But, I digress. Bravo is great! I refer all my friends (they have a great referral program), and I plan to keep shopping here. read more

Bra~vo is the best women's boutique I have ever been to. All of the women know how a bra is actually supposed to fit and will do their best to find the right one for your size and shape. My mother and I have been loyal patrons for over 8 years. We brought my sister in when it was time for her too. Now that I live out of state, I just call up the Bra~vo Ladies and they ship me exactly when I need. You will not find a better fit anywhere. read more

Let me just say my experience in the beginning was impeccable! My last visit I took my daughter 18 as I have since she was 12. The bras were so ill fitted that it literally CUT INTO HER SKIN leave scars. I took her back within the allotted time & the refused to compensate or admit that her bras were the wrong size & just advised she buy a spacer!!!! A week ago my cousin went for a fitting & had the same issue. I won't be back. If I give you $80 per garment I expect a comfortable & well measured fit. If I could give zero stars I would! read more

So the girl who shoved me into a 30 before I was ready is gone. Good, she wasn't as friendly as she should've been, nor understanding when I told her the bra hurt. I popped in today on a whim because I already know my size and figured they'd have some for me to try on (I prefer to size myself as I have a fleshy and flared ribcage and sometimes fitters like to put me in bigger bands than I like). I do wish there were a few more options, but I was pleased that they had several. I am also really pleased to note that they now carry J cups and a few 28 bands. You do not see 28's in many places- even Nordstrom doesn't have any in store, only online. It was a pleasant surprise. 28s are much more common than people realize because there are many small women, but until more are fit properly, purchasing 28s for your boutique is definitely a gamble. I completely applaud them for adding some to their store. Hopefully at some point they will also add some bigger cups (I saw a couple 28Es&Fs). Today everyone was super nice and helpful. It was busy so I did have to wait, but I didn't mind. Delilah (the doggy) was very into the pettings she was getting, so that was distracting me from the wait (and I wasn't in a hurry anyway). I am also pleased that they have so many choices of bathing suits. Tankini's, one-pieces, and bikinis. I am already entirely outfitted for this summer, but I checked them out anyway. Ladies, they carry the turquoise version of Freya's Fever, which is super flattering (I have hot pink & red). As far as brands go: They carry the usual. Lots of Panache, Freya, Elomi, and Chantelle (there's probably more, but I usually don't pay attention to the labels that don't make my size). Overall, today was a much better experience. Ladies, I can assure you that guys have the same problem that you do. As a guy, it took me nearly 45 years to learn that its worthwhile to spend a few extra bucks on good underwear that gives the right amount of lifting and separating. If your boyfriend or hubby is grouchy, treat him to a good pair of underwear, or better yet, convince someone to open a Bro-Vo. But in this case the ladies have figured it out first, and my Mom and I made a quick trip in to Bra-Vo Intimates today for her first real fitting. She's 73 and had been given a recommendation many years ago by a department store that seems to have gotten it all wrong. The sales staff at Bra-Vo suggested she reduce her chest size by several sizes, and increase her cup size for a better fit. Sure enough, Mom says the new fitment is nearly like wearing nothing at all. I would typically use the word "perky" to describe her personality, and not her figure but the word fits on both counts today. The staff was great, and somewhat surprisingly to me,there were other guys in the shop waiting for their spouses to be fitted. We chatted about home construction, alligator wrestling, and other very manly things while the ladies figured out the right bra construction to get the job done. Okay, maybe we didn't talk about alligator wrestling, but don't be afraid to bring your spouse... he'll figure out a way to zone out. Lastly, I'll never feel guilty about spending $15-20 for a good pair of briefs again... a good bra can be WAY more expensive! I don't know if their prices are par for the course, but considering that we received 45 minutes of individual attention on something that has long-lasting benefit, it all seemed reasonable to me. More importantly, they had her size in stock (they have more than 7,000 bras in inventory), and will call Mom when the other colors she wanted arrive in stock. Overall Mom and I are very happy with the experience she had there, and we'll be suggesting it to her sisters. :-) read more

I'm extremely disappointed with my latest purchase. They fitted me and I bought into their suggestion. They "special ordered" 2 black bras in the style they suggested. After waiting 3 weeks for them, they finally arrived. 2 hours into wearing the bra (at work) the straps begin to fall down constantly and the cup is gapping on the top, especially when I sit down. Not to mention the cups go up to my armpit. This is the most expense, ill fitting bra I have ever owned. I splurged thinking I was going to have a bra I could rely on, feel supported in and comfortable. I talked to the owner telling her how incorrect my "fitting" session was but she said there is nothing she can do. I asked about alteration but they don't do that. So where is the custom fit if you can't size me or fix your fitting mistake. I'm out $150 and I'm extremely upset. Never again. read more

Ignore the negativity, ladies! This is a great store!!! I have been shopping at Bravo Intimates since 2008. Rebecca will always get my business! There is a reason why this store has been voted best in Detroit--Rebecca and her team are knowledgeable, friendly, and extremely helpful. This team will get you into a bra that will fit properly and last you for a long while (if taken care of properly). Unlike mass market lingerie stores, you are measured and fitted in a garment that works for your body type. You are constantly checked on while trying on bras and I've never left the store in a garment I was unsure of. Your girls will thank you. Ignore the negative and stop in!!
