BraveHearts is such a special place with a specific mission to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome draft horses and mules. There is nothing quite as sweet as those gentle giants. We had a great time spoiling them rotten with all of the little 'cookies' we were given to feed them. There were so many horses, along with several babies - which are always fun to see and interact with - as well as a few miniature donkeys. The drive to the farm is beautiful from any direction, and the staff are very friendly and familiar with the stories and personalities of each horse.
