Along the scenic byway between Lexington and Frankfort sits Adena Springs Annex. Started in 1989, it was the original farm before the Paris location was built. Named as a tribute to the Adena Native American tribe, the first inhabitants of the land, the farm is home to broodmare and foals. The stallions are gone, but for 25 year old Red Bullet and 24 year old Macho Uno, both pensioned and living out their days grazing in their pastures. 13 read more
