While I really had no desire to see a concentration camp, being there and understanding how this once resort town for the rich was turned into a ghetto where Jews were sent by Nazis to work and dies was educational. In person, it was chilling to see how in a city (Prague) where a former KING had invited Jews to live peacefully for a few hundred years in community with neighbors could be ravaged in less than a decade by stealing property and sending community members to die. The highlight of the tour, for me, was walking through the interior of the fortress. Because Terezin had been a fortress around a town and in which at present there is an educational institution, this concentration camp may differ from other in Germany proper. Patrik took us through the museum which held objects, and other displays from the camp. The humanity of those held as slaves by the Nazis shows through in the posters, pictures and attempts to try to "normalize" the hell created. Take time to look at the exhibits there. The most depressing part of this tour were the headstones with the names of those who "came through" the gates and perished. For judges in the USA who are faced with anti-semites who claim there holocaust did not happen and perpetrate hate crimes, should be able to sentence the guilty to tour camps and help, In short, book and take a tour with this company.

The definite highlight was the Kutna Hora (Bone) church although we ended up visiting a few churches. Lunch at Dacicky was very good. You had your choices from pork knuckle to Duck to Beef Cheeks & some vegetarian options. Our guide Brandon was awesome! He was very knowledgeable & had some great stories & took care of us. If you are lucky enough to get Brandon, make sure you get his Prague list of recommendations for restaurants, attractions, etc. There were about 20 in the tour group and a second in Spanish tour group-so total about 40 on a coach bus. Bring your walking shoes as we walked to all the sites after we visited the church. ( & their is about a 15 minutes walk from Old town center to the bus) A great way to see some of the sites outside of Prague. Would highly recommend Brandon & Sandeman's.

Ileana is very knowledgeable about the history of these places and conducted the tour at an appropriate pace for all. We learned a lot and had a great time. On a very hot day, she stopped as needed, taking us under shades quite often and then took us to a reasonably-priced store where we could buy cold water. And the tour is indeed free. At the end, Ileana didn't even ask for any tip, although almost all of us gladly gave her some tip. If I visit Prague, I would gladly do a tour with them again. If I visit another city where Free Walking Tour offers a tour, I would do that.

We went on this tour our first morning in the city and it was a perfect way to get oriented. If you have already spent several days exploring, you may still learn a lot, but will be unlikely to see many new things. The basic free tour is centered around the main tourist sites and, although the guides may give you tips of additional places to go or places to grab food later, there isn't enough time to see too much stuff off the beaten path. As they will explain at the beginning of the tour, the guides make their money from tips so if you enjoy the tour, be fair and show your appreciation. However, it's nice to have the liberty to decide at any point before the end of the tour that it is not worth your time and money (I don't think that will be the case).

My wife and I hired her as a private guide for the day to learn more about this beautiful city. Our full (6-hour) day began at our hotel with Lenka meeting us in the lobby at 9:30 am. She guided us onto the subway, then a tram to the top of the hill behind the castle. We walked around all the famous sites working our way down hill, through the castle grounds, past the Lennon wall, down to amazing views of the river, across the Charles bridge, threw the old Jewish quarter and much more. Midway through the day we stopped for lunch trying traditional (and filling) food including special beef dish served often at weddings (really good). After lunch we had a short boat cruise on the river which was great to get a glimpse of the city from the water. Her prices were really reasonable and her English is superb. She has tremendous knowledge of history and architecture and we got a wonderfully rich understanding of the city and Czech culture. Wherever we travel, we always find hiring a local guide to be a tremendous savings in time while paying high dividends in knowledge and enjoyment. I wouldn't hesitate to use or recommend Lenka and Supreme Prague again on a future visit as she has so many options for tour and is very willing to customize itineraries to suit your interests.

Michael was our tour guide for our to our Scrooser tour. We had such fun! The tour begins in a nice slow manner, so you get the feel of riding the scrooser over all the variety of cobblestones that you will encounter. It took a few minutes to really get the feel for the Scrooser. We were able to track along the river, we headed to one of Pragues largest parks, and then we moved on towards the Prague Castle. These electric scooters are really a wonderful way of exploring the city. One of the things that we liked best, was our private tour guide, all sorts of local insights and history. At Prague Castle we met Michaels mother-in-law-law as we passed her shop. We felt less like tourist's and more like bee bopping around with a friend. The ride down from the Monastery, took us on a brilliant trail through the trees. Because the Scroosers are electric and don't go over 25km, you are on bike paths and walking paths most of the way. Highly recommend as a brilliant way to explore Prague from a unique vantage point.

They are very easy to ride! Before we set off they gave out bottles of water. We then proceeded to visit some of the most notable points around old town Prague. Unfortunately it was not the best experience. Our pick up time was 4 pm, Prague-time. I made sure we were in the lobby a few minutes before in case they were early so we could take advantage of a break in the rain we had been receiving that day. But there was no Old Car. After 15 minutes without a car and no word from the company, I sent an email to them and received a response that the car was minutes away. It did not arrive until after 430, nearly the time that our 40-minute ride would be coming to an end. As an apology, the driver had a bottle of prosecco. Very nice, but I don't drink. My traveling companions had some but it was a rainy, windy day so it wasn't the best choice in terms of beverage selections! We started with the top down but soon after we needed to pull over and put it on because the rain started up again. If it's raining, you might as well tool around Prague in an Uber because it's hard to see anything or take any pictures. The blankets supplied helped keep us warm and dry-ish but really dampened the entire experience. Had the driver come on time, it would have been a dry ride and a completely different experience.
