After he swerved in the lane a few times I expressed my discomfort with his method and informed him that I would happily give him the turn by turn directions since I knew how to get there. His resulting responses included like gems such as "SHUT UP!" "I SAID SHUT YOUR MOUTH" and "FUCK YOU CUSTOMER!!! DO YOU WANT TO GO BACK TO THE AIRPORT FOR ANOTHER TAXI THEN?!?" Yes. The cabbie cussed me out. I suspect because I, a woman, dared to challenge his unsafe driving! The fact that he had a cataract on his eye didn't make it any less unsettling. I paid only for the ride (last thing I need is a record for theft of services) I tried contacting the company and am still waiting on a response. So when I am thinking about a taxi company I'm thinking about a company that's local that provides good service with good drivers and decent vehicles. When I went looking for a taxi company in San Jose I immediately noticed that San Jose Airport Taxi company had plenty of reviews and that they had been around for quite some time and had a track record of providing good service. I felt that would be the safest route to take and boy was I right. The taxi that arrived was clean the driver was very well dressed and polite and the car actually got to my residence about 15 minutes early. The driver knocked on my door and assisted me with my luggage and we got to the airport with plenty of time to spare. And just so you know I gave the driver a huge tip because I really appreciate the excellent service that I received from San Jose Airport Taxi Company.
