Todd quoted me $800 for a simple…read morebathroom retile as long as we supplied all the materials, which was whatever; we agreed and paid for all the boards, grout, and tile on our own and he told me what to buy. We scheduled the job while my boyfriend and I were in Greece for 2 weeks to make sure the tile had plenty of time to set but after a few days watching our cameras we noticed they had not come. When we messaged, he said the business had a "family emergency" and would get there on the second week. They didn't actually start the job until a few days before we got home which wasn't a big deal at first until they clearly did a hack job just to be done on time rather than being honest! I have clear video of Todd's worker standing in front of my house on camera stating that they would not get the job done in time, but when I messaged Todd, he said it's fine and sent me a pic of the tile laid in place. From that point on it was obviously a cluster fuck because when we got home (we stayed a day later at a hotel to have a shower because they said they needed an extra day for the grout to settle) the bathroom was a mess. Not only was the tile job just as uneven as when we started, they cut some tiles wrong, and the grout was literally dirty. There's no amount of bleach that could clean grout if it was dirty when put in. Here's the kicker, I made comments while I was making the final payment that I was unhappy but Todd took his check and left. My fault that I wasn't more insistent instead of just paying, lesson learned. Yet worse, not even 3 weeks later, we discover that mold was growing up the wall near the shower. I told Todd there was a problem and he said it was our fault and to get mold resistant plywood for the wall, WHICH IT WAS!!! I consulted with another contractor who was actually licensed (this "company" IS NOT) who informed me that they made a mistake when laying the tile and trim and told us how to fix it ourselves. There was literally water damage when Todd came to pick up the check and they take so little pride in their work that he didn't care. So I message Todd and ask for a partial refund. Not all of it, just enough to have the grout redone. His initial response was I waited too long to complain (even though while writing the check I complained). Then he agrees to send someone to fix it claiming his "company" is "thorough." Yea, ok well, I sent very specific pictures and stated I could deal with the uneven tile if the grout was redone. I literally only asked for the floor to be regrouted with clean grout and higher to make the tiles look less uneven. WEEKS later he sends 2 guys to fix the bathroom and they don't have a freaking tile saw! Because this "company" only has one and it's being used on a different job.... 1 day lost wages for me because I cleared clients for this. The workers say they need 3 days and Todd will message. Suprise suprise, Todd doesn't message so I do, and offer 3 days where I'm working out of town and they can come in to regrout. He agrees and it's scheduled. Well, the day comes and Todd sends yet another worker to my house to fix a job his guys messed up, WITHOUT A TILE SAW! The poor kid didn't even know what he was fixing because the company is so disorganized, and was told to just come to my house and "fix what's wrong." It was over 2 months and the bathroom never got repaired so we finally just did it ourselves. I've posted reviews asking this "company" for a partial refund, after texting and asking for a refund to cover what we need to fix what his guys messed up, but have been ignored. I highly recommend you NEVER hire them for anything because the level of incompetence is astounding and if you get shotty work, they'll just ignore you and delete your comments exposing how bad they are.

I guess they needed to make more money off me, by hiring the cheapest labor around. So the garage lights made me realize, "I was being cheated!" I've never seen such cheap lights in a garage!! Then I thought about the mess created by the Mexican roofing company? IN Pekin? I bet it was half priced! They left without FINISHING, with no explanation, 2 weeks before I fired them. I tried to understand. I was ghosted by State Farm for 10 months and then Kelley Construction just disappears before the last couple jobs were done. I haven't had a garage door for almost a year! I saw the lights! I fired them. Freddy emails..."But Cheryl you know how long it takes for State Farm to get us the money for your ceiling EVEN IF KELLEY CONSTRUCTION ISN'T GOING TO DO IT." Yes....I told them NO CEILING 3 weeks before that! Then I fired them for fraud too.
