I had always wanted to try this place. Today was the day. I came in hungry after a hike with my…read moredogs and ordered the chicken bulgogi dinner. The place is very clean, with a cascading waterfall by the front door. Blue is the dominant color and it's calming. Sunna is running the entire operation by herself. Luckily no one else was in this cozy little restaurant. I didn't have to wait long for anything. My spring roll whetted my appetite. Then came the kimchi platter and finally the bulgogi. Oh my, it took a while, but I ate the whole thing! I discovered that her older son was a student of mine about ten years ago. She has his JROTC photos proudly on one wall. Her son has the same strong work ethic as she does Service was very friendly.

This is a major scamming Korean food restaurant. The side dishes are tiny. I was with 4 people . Not even enough for one person. And the taste of the side dish is horrible. I ordered the sizzling beef rib BBQ. The vegetables where pretty much all burned. (Blacked). The BBQ rib is okay. So I only wana order 1 food because I don't eat much. When the owner heard me only want to order 1 entrée. She said I am cheap when I literally ordered the second most expensive dish on the menu. I had a SFC with me that night. He was shaking his leg. The owner lady putted her hands on his leg (thigh) and told him to stop. She even put her hands on his head. I had another SSG with me that night. When he said he only wana to have 1 entree and no appetizer because he needs to watch his Weight, the owner lady told him that "yes I can tell" and pointing to his belly. So rude. This restaurant has poor customer service and the owner was unprofessional running the restaurant. Highly not recommend. Major scam Just go eat tacos nearby. Dont trust too much on the 5 star reviews.... The food is just 3 stars at most. with her rudeness it is just a 1 star.

Consistent Excellent Service & Quality After visiting 6…read moretimes during the past 12 months I can honestly state that Taco Giro deserves 5 stars. Why? Because each time we have gone there we were immediately greeted and seated, food and drinks were consistently very good or excellent and compared to other restaurants in Cochise County, has maintained that consistency and excellent customer service over time. My first review was written after they first opened a few years ago. I gave them only 3 stars then and offered suggestions for improvement. Since then, they have met or exceeded my expectations. My companion is from Sonora, Mx. and loves to prepare recipes passed down from her grandmother from the late 1800's. Thus, she really knows good Mexican food made with fresh ingredients, thus, is VERY picky. Since we live in a desert and not close to the Gulf of Mexico, fresh seafood is nearly impossible to obtain. I'm not generally a fan of flash frozen fish since I'm spoiled, having eaten fresh caught oysters and seafood from the gulf. However, they have found a distributor who provides flash frozen seafood and it tastes pretty good. Most frozen seafood, in my opinion is not tasty, but this is a good substitute for those of us who can't go to Mariscos in AP (where they have fresh seafood delivered daily). Try the QuesaBirria tacos or carne asada which are delicious, (even my companion agrees!) Tableside prepared guacamole (per your liking) with warm chips plus salsa is also excellent and fresh. Happy Hour Margaritas are also excellent at a great price! I just hope they continue to sustain the excellence they have strived for so we can continue to dine at least in one good restaurant in SV. Ambiance is good too, with natural light, comfortable booths and tables/chairs (they keep the windows clean and no flies trying to steal your meal!) Note: I realize some other reviews reflect a different experience so all I can do is share my experience.

J's Kitchen - Fried Pork Belly and Caramelized Pork Belly

I'll start by saying the food we ordered was "okay," not great, not bad, just, more or less,…read moregenerally "meh." With that said, dear sweet, pineapple ocean deities, the portion sizes we received were not only insultingly small, but the prices were exorbitant! $13 for ~2 cups of pork-fried rice? Are you kidding me?! Sure, they added tiny slivers of bacon and Spam to make it "island style," but it was neither better nor any different from your standard Asian-American fare. To be perfectly honest, I've had better fried rice at larger, mediocre chain restaurants (eg. "that Chinese Bear place....") than we received from J's Kitchen. And don't get me started on the "deep fried pork belly". I've seen larger chunks of pork in a bag of chicharrones than what I saw on my plate. And, again, the price? My gawd....$15 for ~1 cup of plain white rice and maybe a tiny handful of fried pork belly cubes that tasted no different than every other cut of pork belly I've ever had? Puh-lease. I've had less forgettable meals served on a gas station hot tray. Oh, and the lumpian? Thinner than my damn pinkie finger and with what I'm convinced is less nutritional value. You're better off buying generic frozen spring rolls at the grocery store for a fraction of the price, seriously. And, finally, the "stir-fried meat"? Generic chunks of chicken covered in what I can only assume was the "Great Value" equivalent of soy sauce and a pinch of old red and yellow peppers thrown in for, color, I suppose? I've eaten tastier and less depressing pre-packaged meals on middle-school field trips. In closing, I'd give it 0 stars if I could. Between the sub-par food, the microscopic portion sizes and the sky-high prices, you're better off going someplace, literally anywhere, else if you find yourself craving something different. 0/10. To be frank, I've cobbled together better meals at 2AM in my own kitchen completely on accident...

The young waitress who served us was very pleasant, but she spoken a very quiet voice. She was hard to hear. The prices were reasonable. And I would definitely go back again.
