All Pro Tree & Landscaping Service is a family owned business that has been in business since 1978…read more They specialize in tree care & removal services, but also landscaping, firewood and insurance claims. I recently had a massive tree fall in my backyard during a storm - we got lucky that it happened at 2AM, no one was hurt, and it also didn't damage any cars or homes, but it did destroy my fence, shed, and damage my garage. This is the first time I've really ever had to file a home insurance claim, and as anyone who's ever dealt with insurance knows, it can all be very confusing. The way it was explained to me, it seemed like I was going to be stuck paying a very large bill, and insurance would only be covering a very small part of it. As most millennials do, I went to social media for help. Skyler, one of the owners, reached out to me and felt that he could help. He said they had a lot of experience working with insurance and knew how things needed to be written up for it to benefit me most. He seemed to know what he was talking about, so I moved forward with them. And he was correct - insurance ended up covering the entire quote. Unfortunately, the tree fell during a period of weeks long heavy rains, and there were a lot of emergency situations where they weren't able to get to me immediately, but they got to me in the time frame Skyler told me, and any time there was any change, he texted me immediately and always communicated in a timely manner. Skyler was easy to work with, made some compromises to be able to help me, and I felt as if I was a priority for them. The crew got everything gone in two days, cleaned up my property, and made the whole process extremely easy. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone.

After removing three trees, topping a few more and trimming branches close to the house, they removed ALL debris and almost every leaf and left my yard better than it was...and safer. I will definitely use them again. Many thanks to a great crew.

Be sure of what the price is before he starts. And dont let him tag on any extra or additional charges after the job. Thats part of his scam. He prices it real low to get the job then comes back with "It ended up being more than we thought" (like he's never priced or done a tree like yours) I know several he has done this to. Be sure to get a copy of that insurance he claims to have! Thats where I went wrong... Never did get him to cover the damage to the neighbors property, I had to buck up! FYI. Don't say you weren't warned!

After noticing that carpenter ants had undermined several large wild cherry trees near my home…read morewhich is built into a hillside, I called a few local tree services for quotes. Derrick was the only one who was confident that he didn't need anyone to climb the trees, despite their size and placement on a fairly steep hillside. Every other service who came out was openly worried and expressed several concerns, which left me with very little faith in their capabilities. Derrick's crew arrived on time, and took down all five huge trees by the end of the same day. About a week or two later, I noticed that part of my driveway had been notched when the stump grinder was used on a tree that was really close to the driveway. I contacted Derrick and he was apologetic and immediately promised to have it repaired. He had a professional driveway service come out, make the patch, and fill the seam to join it to the main driveway. Great service, reasonable rates, and taking immediate care of an issue after the sale? What more could a homeowner ask for from any contractor? I'll be calling Derrick any time I need help with tree trimming or removal again.

I typically do not leave Google reviews, but after everything we experienced, I feel obligated to…read morewarn other homeowners. Paul comes across as a nice guy and has a great sales pitch. He knows exactly what to say to gain your trust and make you feel confident in hiring him. Unfortunately, our experience was completely different once the work began. We dealt with property damage, unfinished work, constant delays, broken promises, lack of accountability, and what I believe was an incredible amount of dishonesty throughout this entire project. When Paul came out to do the estimate, one of my concerns was protecting our driveway from the heavy equipment. He assured us that he would put down track pads, pallets, or some type of protection. I brought it up again after the work started, and he again stated that he would take care of it. It never happened. We paid a $5,000 deposit and expected a professional company that could complete the work they agreed to perform. Instead, every day seemed to come with a different excuse, a different promise, or a different reason why the work wasn't getting done. It also became apparent that there was no consistent crew. Some days there were workers, some days there weren't. A couple of days it was just Paul and his girlfriend working. Other days there were different people showing up. It never felt like there was a reliable team in place capable of completing the project. At one point, Paul complained that workers were "greedy" because they wanted $250 a day to work. My response was simple: if that's what it takes to keep workers and get the job done, then that's part of running a business. As a customer, that should not have been my concern. My concern was having the work completed as agreed. What was even more concerning was that after receiving a $5,000 deposit, Paul came to our door asking for an additional $500 to pay a worker. Again, that should not have been the customer's responsibility. Staffing and payroll are the responsibility of the business owner. After continued delays, unfinished work, damage to our property, and repeated promises that never materialized, we decided it was best to end the contract because we no longer had confidence that the project would ever be completed. Even after paying a $5,000 deposit, we still gave Paul an additional $1,000 when we agreed to end the contract. This was based on his verbal agreement that he would return and grind the three remaining stumps that had been left behind. That never happened. We called, texted, and followed up multiple times. Eventually, we were completely ignored and ghosted. What frustrates me most is that we truly tried to be patient and understanding. We gave chance after chance because we wanted this project to succeed. Instead, we were met with excuse after excuse, unfinished work, property damage, and a contractor who stopped responding after being paid. My advice to anyone considering this company is simple: get everything in writing, document everything, save every text message, and take photos and videos before, during, and after the work. Thankfully, we did. Now we're left with a damaged yard, stumps that were supposed to be removed, a tree that still needs to come down, and a cleanup job that was far from professional. After all of the promises, excuses, delays, and lack of follow-through, we are now forced to hire someone else to finish and correct the work that should have been completed in the first place. Based on our experience, I found Paul to be extremely untruthful, unreliable, and unprofessional. Homeowners deserve honesty, communication, accountability, and follow-through. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. Proceed with caution.
