A La Cart City - Brick & butter chopped cheese

Phat Ash bakery with some fat azz cookies, and Brick and Butter with comfort food sandwiches. It's a cute spot with a small arcade and a patio sitting area shared by the vendors. I came to see Red Panda and get my Garlic Noodz. I'll definitely be back!!

A La Cart City is the newest location in the A La Cart family. While it isn't the smallest location…read more(they do have an upstairs lounge area that adds to the overall ambiance of the space), it is the most limited in food truck options as they are only hosting three eateries/food trucks at the moment - which include Red Panda Noodle, Phat Ash Bakes, and Brick & Butter. Now, diving in, I've only had food from Red Panda Noodle - which I initially discovered during Tasty Tuesdays in the Milk District. My first time having them, I fell immediately in love with their beef noodle option: Beef & Broccoli. It is flavorful and filling! The price points are standard (roughly $17.00 for the Beef & Broccoli). All other dishes are reasonably priced. As for A La Cart City as a place, it's centrally located off Orange Ave. There is PAID parking all around - sadly, unless you use the DTO promo code for a free two hours of parking, you will have to pay to park just about anywhere in Downtown Orlando. Parking is ample, but it can get pricey depending on when / where you park. There is ample seating downstairs and upstairs. It is service animal-friendly. They have a large screen for viewing sports or displaying any video (if you reserve the space for an event). The staff is kind, attentive, and helpful. They have a decent (not super large, but decent nonetheless) beer and wine selection. Price points are comparable to the other A La Cart locations. The overall location is great in the sense that it's a great spot to start a "bar-hop" vibe and make your way down into the thick of DTO. All in all, I am a fan of all three A La Cart lcoations. Also, did I mention, it is a great little spot for events! So, definitely visit them if you have not already.

I spoke with Gary over the phone and email and I quickly booked this location. It is absolutely gorgeous! Gary and Marti were so accommodating. Gary allowed me to change part of a ceremony to omit some wording that didn't apply to us. I picked the elopement package but I really wanted a cake. Gary and Marti were able to accommodate my request. Before the actual wedding Gary sat down with me and my now husband. He explained everything about the marriage license (which he sent off for us), marriage certificate and pictures. He really made us feel comfortable. Marti took some amazing photos. It rained on our wedding but the photos are still gorgeous. There is a covered patio so it didnt ruins the day. One of my favorite pictures is us outside under an umbrella. It's so adorable. Marti was super sweet even with my new mother in law who for some reason kept barking commands about photos and packaging the cake. If you are looking for a place to get married I would highly recommend this location. It's gorgous. Gary and Marti are so friendly.

I had my wedding ceremony here Oct 2020. Beautiful intimate wedding venue for a small wedding. Gary…read moreperforms the ceremony with a choice of 7 ceremonies which are very nice. Prices are great with ceremony and photography included. But buyer beware the photography they showed us examples of and what we got back was nothing like what they showed us, my friends I-phone photos were way better. When I downloaded the photos, I cried when I saw the photos and I was on my honeymoon which 2 days of my honeymoon was ruined because I was so upset. All the background of the lake was totally blown out and so was my dress so forget about wearing white. This was my wedding and there are no redo's! I was so upset I told Gary and he said it's standard photography, no this was sub-standard! I would be embarrassed to give this to anyone let alone the bride! He took offense and said that this was standard photography but for an xtra charge they would fix it. I complained with several emails and they finally redid our photos without charging the up charge which was acceptable. I felt scammed and lied to. If I had known the photography was so bad I would have had my own photographer. It left a bad taste and memories for our wedding. Too bad because they have a beautiful place. I had my reception somewhere else and thank God I hired a wonderful newer photographer that did outstanding work. They should be more upfront with their prices and give people options to get their own photographer.

I was here recently for a wedding reception during the summer. We parked in the playground parking…read morelot and walked over to the venue. The playground was cool; it had water features. When we walked in downstairs, there was a bar on the side and tables and chairs. We got a drink and went outside for the view of the lake. It was cool to see the seaplanes taking off. The receiption took place upstairs. The bar in the middle was a good location and the line never got too long. They encouraged holding on to our wine glasses if we wanted a refill. The wedding wasn't too large so there was room for tables on both sides and a dance floor. The couple also set up a screen to project video during dancing; there was room for all of it. The food buffet was delicious and refilled generously. It was in all a great experience. Only one terrifying thing worth mentioning was at the end of the night, it was dark outside and light inside so all of the mosquitoes were attacking the windows and anywhere there was light. The staff said these were the type of mosquito that only lives one day. Still terrifying because there were so many of them (biblical amounts) and when we walked outside, we had to go through them. This is nature and not the venue's fault but be aware!

This is a beautiful event venue. The theme is antique. It's so gorgeous ! There's an amazing view…read moreof the lake because you are literally on the lake. It was so serene and made you appreciate nature. I recently worked at a wedding at this venue and I have only two complaints which makes it 4 stars instead of 5. 1. I was constantly up and down the stairs because dinner was upstairs and dancing was downstairs. 2. They also have specific rules about some of the antiques which can be difficult to comply with when you have people placing their wet cups on an antique table! It may be beneficial for them to maybe place some glass over the wood to preserve it better. Other than that the staff was helpful and made the event perfect for the bride and groom along with the wonderful coordinating staff, caterers, etc. 67/100 for the Review Challenge
