There are two distinct areas of the club too, so you can sit and do the bingo with the olds or watch the footy and play snooker with the boys.

The acts playing run the gamut from well known American and European acts on the tour circuit, to local heroes and the odd local eccentric. Entry is a few pounds, and drinks are fairly well priced from the little bar at the back. There is a fairly high proportion of middle aged male blues hounds, so as such, the music is very much in the stodgy white man blues tradition, with some exciting exceptions. All in all, good clean local fun.

The prices for ice-creams and sweets are also more resonable compared with large theatres/cinemas. Carpark to the side and if after hours is only £1.
