My hair style (full sew-in) from start to finish, FLAWLESS!!! The shampoo is the most important part of your service? If it isn't right, the remaining treatments one be either. This was truly not the case!!! My shampoo artist washed my hair so good my scalp was screaming her name!!! Then she braided me down...no headaches, twisting and pulling...perfect!!!! Jameta....I can't worship her but I do thank God above for sending me too her!!!! From conversation and a few images of what I thought I wanted; she provided the hair, dyed and installed it so well, I forget it's not growing from my own roots!!! The install that she provided was less than mediocre she cut all of the lace off the frontal and applied it across my hairline which was incorrect! When I contacted her to let her know I wasn't happy with my install and that my frontal was ruined she told me I watch to much YouTube and that it could be fixed but only by gluing down the frontal. I declined to have what's left of the frontal to be glued to my edges potentially cause damage to my natural hair I asked for half of the money toward the new purchase of my fronts and my request was not granted. I have never dealt with an unprofessional stylist such as herself her customer service is the far worst I've ever experienced!

She's conveniently located on Branch Avenue less than 10 minutes from the metro where I park to go into DC everyday. I made the appointment and confirmed online. I arrived on time and she offered to let me sit in the kitchen to finish the food I'd brought. She did have a head in her chair at the time, but I wasn't over surprised. It was a cold, rainy Thursday evening. She got me in quickly and shampooed and conditioned me herself to sit under the dryer (of course) and then she quickly wrapped one client before me and got me in the chair. All-in-all I was out in under 2-1/2 hours and I consider that a complete win. My hair was LAID and I absolutely loved my curls. Whitney does an excellent job with natural hair. I don't need a whole silk press because my hair, while curly, is fine (3c/4a) but she still did a good job of determining the heat setting from my iron (I always bring my own now) and was willing to use my heat protectant, which I appreciated. 10/10

I came with my hair already washed, so she was able to get right to work. She styled my natural hair (TWA) into two strand twist. I was in and out in about an hour. It would have been an additional hour, but I opted to let my hair air dry as To do the twist out the next morning, right before work. I don't remember the products she used, but they worked for my 4c hair. The next morning, It was well moisturized... really good twist out. I will return to see her as her hours and location are good for me.
