A few years ago, I went to Jameta with hair 2-2.5 inches long (bad experience with a relaxer, which caused most of my hair to fall out). Jameta installed a full weave, which looked amazing. I was initially skeptical about getting a full weave because I had yet to see a closure that I found acceptable. Well, Jameta far exceeded my expectations. Every where I went, people complimented me on my hair and assumed it was real. Not only did my weave look great, but my own hair was chemical free, healthy, and growing. When I stop getting a weave, my hair was shoulder length. After a three year break, I decided to get my hair weaved for my summer vacation. I googled Jameta and found Salon 7. Jameta and her assistant, Tiffany, were awesome. They were courteous, personable and most importantly talented. Jameta and Tiffany alleviated any concerns I had and worked together to give me the style and the hair that I desired. Jameta is also quite knowledgeable about hair and will work with you to customize your hair. I loved the hair and the style so much that I decided to keep the weave in. I drive over 35 miles ONE way to get my hair done in Clinton. Some people may find Jameta pricey. However, she is worth every cent. The quality of the hair is top notch and her installation is flawless. My hair is four months old and people are still asking me about it! I am extremely picky and very anal about my hair. I will pay her fee and drive the distance because I know my hair will look amazing once I step foot out of her shop. read more

I had never had a weave before and like many was very skeptical. My initial consultation with Ms. Jameta removed a lot of my skepticism. I was amazed at how much she knew about hair. She a answered all of my questions in the shop including the ones I asked a week later! Finally, she does it and its absolute perfection!!! Its the texture, color and style I wanted. I had everything done in September and It still looks like i just went last week. If you are a skeptic like me and very concerned about spending a good amount of money on a weave.....this is the place to go!! Looks like my hair and it was well worth it. I visited Jameta's salon today for the first time in 4 years and one fact remains......she is still the BEST in the business...BAR NONE! I will agree that weave is an expensive hair style but I compare it to buying a Mercedes vs a Neon. Like anything else....you get what you pay for. I think Norma E may have misunderstood the pricing and quite frankly, may have bitten off more than she can chew. Noone wants to feel their hard earned money is not valued. That being said, if the client truly was dissatisfied, she should not have left the salon until her concerns were addressed. When I want a weave I save my money and I call Jameta because I know that when I leave, I will be fabulous!! read more

This is a great salon. My stylist, Aisha, is awesome. She is accommodating and professional. I am always pleased with my hairstyle outcome and trust her to creatively put her artistic skills to work just perfectly. After I leave her chair, I always get compliments on my hairstyle.
