She dropped the comb multiple times and continued to use the same comb in my daughter's hair . She stopped doing her hair to wash another clients hair and didn't wash her hands. She was suppose to be done by 1pm . My daughter had work at 130. She didn't leave there until close to 4pm! My daughter had to call in sick for work . The majority of the really good barbers in North Las Vegas are Hispanic and unfortunately I do not speak a second language so sometimes it's a little difficult to communicate exactly what I want done with my cut. Rustle speaks english, though, so that was a huge plus for me. The biggest thing that impressed me was that I contacted him through Yelp this morning to set up an appointment and he was able get me in only a few hours later. The best part was that he was right on time with the cut and honored the appointment. I came to Rustle because my last long time barber (3+ years) was bad about staying on time with the appointments. He would take walk-ins right before my appointments and would have me waiting forever. I had to walk out of my last appointment because he spent over 45 minutes past my appointment time on a customer that he took prior to my arrival and I had to pickup my daughter from school. I was mad and decided to look elsewhere. This was my first cut with Rustle, but it won't be the last; he already knows he's my new barber. I'm really disappointed with my recent experience. I went in for a haircut and left not realizing…read morethat my hair had been noticeably messed up. What upset me most is that the stylist never mentioned the mistake or tried to address it while I was there. It felt like it was intentionally brushed over and hidden rather than handled honestly. After I got home and saw the issue more clearly, I called to ask why she didn't tell me. She apologized, but when I asked for a refund, I was told it could only be applied as credit toward my next haircut. Unfortunately, that doesn't sit right with me. If I'm unhappy with the service and don't feel confident returning, store credit isn't a solution. It's already hard enough to find reliable, trustworthy services in Vegas, and experiences like this make it even more discouraging. Mistakes happen -- I understand that. But honesty and transparency matter. I would have appreciated her being upfront in the moment so we could've addressed it then. Because of how this was handled, I won't be returning.
