Liza was everything I could have hoped for. She was kind, funny, did a great job on both my teenagers' hair and has very reasonable prices. I just moved here and had to turn to yelp and trust the reviews to guide me to a place where my kids would be taken care of. I am so glad I found Style 5. If you're new here and uncertain I don't think you'll be disappointed with Liza. Thanks :) read more

I couldn't be happier with Style 5 and Liza's work. She's been doing my hair for years (she does excellent color work as well as cuts), so when my daughter asked for a pixie cut I knew Liza would be the one to do it right. She did an absolutely amazing job - my daughter is completely thrilled with her new cut! Liza took exactly what my daughter wanted and somehow made it even better. Also - if you have long hair and have had bad experiences with other stylists taking off way too much when you ask for a trim, come to Liza. She always takes off exactly the length I ask for and I've never regretted a cut with her. Last thing to note - Liza's prices are excellent. I would happily pay 2-3x the amount for her work! read more

Did the wife's hair she charged 30.00. I made appointment for today at 9am. 15.00 Mens cut. She never showed up. Guess she has chosen to ignore smaller clients. I will find another and so will my wife. Just lost 2 clients. Swift.!! read more

Alexis is amazing you will not be disappointed. She's been doing my hair for a while now and always works her magic!

I do not hate getting my haircut any longer. Liza cares about her customers. She listened to what I wanted and used her own judgement along with years of experience to give me the best haircut I've probably ever had. She cut my hair keeping my style in mind which I love. Her passion for life and cutting hair really comes through. I always procrastinate getting my haircut but I will no longer do that. I can't believe that my haircut was only $20! What a deal! You won't regret choosing this spot. Book ahead with Liza! And try and bring cash for the haircut and tip =) Thank you so much for my hair Liza. I'll be coming back in a couple of months. read more

I live in WA state and I've only ever gotten BAD haircuts since the day I moved there. I don't dye my hair or anything special like that. When I try to find a good hairstylists, all of the reviews I see are for hair coloring and what not. I have long hair and just want a stylish layered cut to keep it up. I thought that was a simple task, but other stylists have proven me wrong by completely botching my hair. My homegirl in Vegas raved about how Liza fixed a bad haircut of hers so I had to check her out when I was in town. Let me tell you.. LIZA IS AN ANGEL! Tbh, half of the time I don't know what needs to be done with my hair but Liza can look at it and diagnose exactly what she needs to do. She listens to what you want and don't want and takes her time to perfect it. She is the sweetest! Liza truly is an expert in her field. She's been in the business for many years, yet she continues to take courses and attend events to learn more styles and techniques. You can tell that she is really living her passion and that absolutely reflects in her work. I've flown to Vegas from WA state twice already for my haircuts with Liza and I'm due for my next trip. Her care and expertise is worth it!! She is always so accommodating for me when I come into town and I really appreciate her for that. Not to mention, she has the most fair prices I've ever paid for a haircut. I trust her with all of my hair needs and wants read more

First off Liza ROCKS! I went to her in somewhat of a hair emergency. Another stylist had given me a pixie cut when I asked her for a stacked Bob. I was not happy but Liza managed to give me a cute cut and great color that first visit. I'm a purple freak and she did a gorgeous electric purple through my black. I went to her again this week and she did an amazing job of getting the Bob and color I've wanted. She is incredible. She listens to what you want and works her magic until you're thrilled. My hair is going to rock the holiday season in style. read more

I have been going to Style 5 for many years then stopped going because it was more convenient to get my hair done right around the corner from where I was working, I was not happy and went back to Style 5 (and been a loyal customer again for at least 4 years now). I drive 20 minutes out of my way to have Liza or Cami do my hair. My hair is healthier than it was before, with the advise they have given to help it get as healthy as it can be with the hair coloring I do to it. I have sent family and friends (repeat customers) to them and will not let anyone else touch my hair. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. read more

I was once again, looking for a stylist in my area, and again, yelp has done the job! I was interested in changing my style a bit by adding a bang, something I have not had in 10 years. I made the appointment with Liza, walked in, and felt like I was having an old friend greet me like we haven't seen each other in years and immediately want to know what I wanted to have done. She agreed a bang would freshen up my look and she began. Within a 1/2 hour my new cut was done, and we had a fabulous time chatting away. She even got me suggestions on some vitamins she is using and now, I am too! My insides feel as great as my outsides and look forward to a quick cut before my vacation to London in April! She's everything!! Don't hesitate.. RUN to her shop! read more

I've been going to Liza for years and she's fantastic. I've had the best highlights, color, and haircuts from this woman, and her prices are the most reasonable I have ever seen. Liza is amazing.. I'm so happy I found a go 2 salon and stylist. She listens to your needs and understands hair very well. You really won't regret going to her. She made my fine hair look fuller from root to tip with her techniques. I never have to deal with stylists forcing me to get layers and a V cut shape at my ends. They would just always recommend it and I thought, "ok fine, at least I'll get rid of some dead ends!" But now I got what I always wanted finally! read more

A recent transplant from a Chicago Suburb, I was referred to this salon by someone I met in a nail salon. She referred Cami at Style 5 and I couldn't be happier! Cami is very warm (a Midwesterner) who really listens to what you want, what you can afford and makes knowledgeable suggestions to help you out! Such a refreshing personality also. I highly recommend Cami for all your family hair style needs! Looking forward to seeing her monthly:) FYI, salon location is in a small strip mall, so keep an eye out for it, when travelling there. read more

I could not be happier not just with Liza's hair abilities, but with her complete and utter kindness. She immediately made me feel welcome and really, made me feel like I've been seeing her for years. Not only that, but she knew exactly what I wanted when I said "trim" and didn't try to convince me to cut off more than I wanted, but instead encouraged me to continue letting my hair grow. She even corrected this weird little gap in my layers that multiple stylists have been doing for years (which I never understood why but I'm not a stylist so I just assumed it was the way it was supposed to be.) She explained everything she did as she did it and why. I won't be going anywhere else! Not to mention how cost effective it is here for what you get!! SO HAPPY! read more

Been going to style 5 since my daughter was 3, she's now she's 12 years old. Liza fixed my hair from haircut mishaps to hair color disasters! I don't have easy hair to cut, I have all kinds of natural waves, from loose waves, to tight waves. But gets it right all the time. Now my daughter goes to her for lip, brow waxing, hair cuts and highlights. My daughter will NOT let anyone else touch her hair, lips or brows! The products she uses is fantastic! She uses the best products for your hair and scalp. I've been to other salons and my scalp started burning cause the chemicals were to harsh. I recommend this place for everyone, and those who have an unruly natural curls hair like mines. She truely is an artist. read more

I am in Las Vegas for vacation and Liza had such good reviews. My hair is brown with blonde hilites but I've been working a lot and haven't been able to schedule an appointment with my regular stylist at home. What a huge mistake. I just wanted my hilites and a trim. I never dreamed she would do such a terrible job on my hair. Her products burned off a large part of my bangs. The color is absolutely awful. It was a sunny blonde with brown. Now, its partly white. Ash blonde in other places and really dark. She let me leave her wreck of a salon with dye all over my face and neck. I expressed my unhappiness and asked for a refund, but she refused. I will have to spend a fortune on a color correction at home. Oh and the trim? She got that wrong as well. Who could mess up a simple trim? Liza. I'm not writing this out of anger, but to protect anyone who may consider her. My hair will be damaged for a long time, the repair costly. Don't let this happen to you. And usually a stylist is interested in you. Not Liza. I had to listen to her life story for over 4 hours including the fact that she has a bogus letter saying she needs an emotional support animal in her salon .She was honest about the fact that she doesn't need her dogs at work. She just wants them there. Save yourself and your hair. Go to a true stylist. Don't let what happened to me happen to you. I'm writing this as a warning. The warning I wish I would have received. read more

This is a long overdue review. I found Leeza through yelp and I'm so glad I did. She not only is a talented hair stylist but she really takes pride in her work. She will do my hair until it's perfect! Her prices are also very reasonable. I also take my son here because he feels comfortable having Leeza cut his hair. He usually hates haircut but doesn't mind when she does it. Will continue coming here as long as she continues to do hair.. read more

Liza is a great stylist and i've love every haircut she's given me. However, i recently went in for a balayage and came out with streaky splotchy highlights. I wouldn't have minded the highlights if they were good but they were all different colors (gray, blue, orange, blonde). she also did not blow dry my hair completely so i didn't see how splotchy it was until i had already paid & gone home. Once i saw it i was devastated. I ended up rushing to a different salon and stylist to get it fixed (it was fixed and now is a very pretty balayage thankfully). Overall, Liza is a great stylist with haircuts and makes your appointments pleasant, but i will not be returning due to that awful experience. read more

Got a great haircut from Liza, on Wednesday November 15..she was very personable and her men's $15.00 haircut was very reasonable. I wish I could give zero stars! I had a 12:00 appointment for a haircut, color and highlights. At 1:50 I was still waiting, why, because Liza (the owner) double booked her appointments. I had 2 phone calls with her the day before and she never told me there would be an issue with my appointment, except for asking me to come in 20 minutes later than my scheduled time. I showed up on time for my appointment and I still had to wait until 1:50, almost 2 hours after my appointment while she did all of her other appointments that were scheduled after my appointment. She did not see anything wrong with me having to wait while she worked every other client while I sat and waited. All I got was I'm almost done honey, I'm so sorry. She could not even remember what I had booked the appointment for on the two phone calls the day before or today when I arrived for my appointment. This is the most UNPROFESSIONAL business I have EVER been to! read more

I had the same haircut for years and I went to all the "chain" hair cutting places around town. Until I found this place. Liza is the person other Hair Stylist need to take notes from. I went in with my "normal everyday" haircut expectation and she promised me she would give me something new. I was super Skeptical. But after she was done my fiancee and I were talking about my hair all day. How awesome it was, how different and it really gave me a new sexy look. I have since gone back about 6 times and every time she gives me a slightly new or sometimes drastically new look. I gotta admit as a country boy I just had mom cut my hair for years and really never knew what styling was or what other options I had. She has gone above and beyond to make sure every single hair is accounted for and styled. she doesn't short you or try to hurry through. She makes you feel like you matter. She goes much further than anyone else in making sure it's perfect when you leave. I am beyond myself. I just think she doesn't charge enough. She is very affordable for the quality you get. Be sure to tip her if your happy with your service. There is just not enough of these "caring" hair stylists or just good honest people in this town these days. I will never choose another stylist as long as she's in business. read more
