Dr. Ronn is amazing! He really takes time to go over the condition of your spine and such. I had…read morebeen going to a chiropractor for over a year but he never did X-rays and was only adjusting me, not really working toward a goal. My only mistake is making a massage appointment with the massage therapist that works in his office on Wednesday. I was so excited and really needed it. The front staff and several other people had warned me that she has heavy handed, so I hen I arrived I made sure to tell Meredith (the massage therapist) that I can't take a deep tissue massage and to go really easy on my shoulders, neck, and shoulder blade area. I had to tell her over and over to do it softer. She also dug into my head and massaged my skull really hard. I finally turned over to let her do my back. I had already told her that my problem areas were my middle and lower back. She spend so much time torturing my upper body, she had hardly any time to massage my back end she completely skipped my lower back. And the icing on the cake was it was only a 45 min massage even though I paid for an hour. So, after all of that, the moral of the story is DO NOT get Meredith to give you a massage!! I've had to take a muscle relaxer and pain pills every night since then just to be able to fall and stay asleep!

I found this out as I've been to numerous chiropractors during my time! She's the real McCoy! I decided against treatment here because she doesn't file insurance and wasn't sure how to tell me how to do it. A shame! I really liked her! Still in pain, I went elsewhere.

When I called, I spoke to a very nice woman by the name of Christy who answered all of my questions thoroughly and professionally. I'm familiar with chiropractic, so really my questions were about price, insurance and what to expect at their practice as a new patient. I decided to schedule my first appointment. When I arrived, I was greeted by Christy. She was just as pleasant and professional as she was on the phone. I was required to fill out some new patient paperwork (to be expected) and before I knew it, I was ready to get examined. Christy directed me to a room and took some vitals and medical history. After obtaining my symptoms and history and after only a brief wait, I met with Dr. Magar to discuss my symptoms and allow him to explain what his approach would be. After the initial exam, Dr. Magar performed some x-rays to determine if there was something wrong with my spine. After the x-rays I was given some muscle therapy to try to reduce some of the pain that I was experiencing that day. The process was pretty quick and easy, so I scheduled my follow up appointment. At my next visit, I saw Dr. Magar who had reviewed my x-rays and come up with a plan of action to help me become pain free. Dr. Magar is an extremely talented and professional chiropractor who can make you feel at home right in his own office. He is unlike any chiropractor that I've been to in the past. Dr. Magar takes a holistic approach to your well being and is genuine in his commitment to helping people feel better. I've been seeing Dr. Magar for about 2 months now, twice a week, and most of my issues have been getting better each time that I go. It is not always a drastic change, but you can't expect a fixed spine in one day. Overall, the office is relaxing, the staff is outstanding (and kid friendly), and Dr. Magar has helped in more ways than one. The friendly atmosphere and professionalism reflects what a great office that they run in Kings Mountain, NC. If you are currently seeking a great chiropractor, Go see either Dr. Magar in Kings Mountain, NC, or his wife Dr. Ellison in the Shelby, NC office.

I saw Dr. Moss today seeking relief. Prior to getting adjusted, we had a long talk about the history of my issue. I like this doctor! She patiently listened to me and engaged me in conversation about my problem. After an enjoyable conversation she proceeded to adjust my spine though both manual and instrument manipulation. This lady doctor is an average size person, but man oh man did she know how to apply pressure! She did what I considered a small miracle as I feel much better: so far! I made a great connection mentally with Dr. Moss which helped her know how to alleviate my pain. I'm 5 star pleased at this point and happily made a near future appointment. Great Job Dr. Moss! I just didn't want to see my primary physician because I didn't want any pain medication or muscle relaxers. This is a better solution for back pain! Over the years I've seen a good number of chiropractors. Dr. Moss is probably the best that I've been to! Thank You doctor I appreciate the pain relief!

After searching high and low for something that could truly help her, we found Carolina Chiropractor Plus--and it has been such a blessing. From the very first visit, the entire staff was welcoming, patient, and incredibly kind. Dr. Garyn is not only extremely knowledgeable, but also genuinely compassionate. Zoey has severe social anxiety and rarely talks to anyone, yet Dr. Garyn never let that be a barrier to providing excellent care. She met Zoey exactly where she was--allowing her to go at her own pace, take her time, and slowly become comfortable. Dr. Garyn has done everything in her power to help slow the progression of Zoey's scoliosis and manage her pain, and the results have been truly life-changing. Zoey now enjoys going to her appointments, feels comfortable enough to go in on her own, and even asks when her next visit will be when she starts to hurt. She has also been able to significantly cut back on how many NSAIDs she was taking, which has been such a relief for our family. Carolina Chiropractor Plus goes above and beyond in every way.
