From start to finish - his work ethic and results are outstanding. I just finished an ongoing project with Boyle Painting in my own house and the I couldn't be happier. Most of the house was refreshed after 20 years in conjunction with a major kitchen and laundry renovation- Danny came in and worked his magic everywhere! There are literally 4 rooms we didn't make over and those are coming. Danny freshened and repainted the trim and doors outside as well this past week. He huffed and puffed about cc'ing a second email so god knows what he would be like on the job if he had to do something mildly inconvenient. I was completely baffled how this man turned into a child before my very eyes." All of the contractors I've dealt with with the exception of Beauty Walls - have enjoyed back and forth communication, and being very communicative and clear. Sviat literally told us "I'm not in the communications department" on one of his bad days where he was 'inconvenienced' by having to respond to our emails and requests. He rage deleted our project from his system, and when we asked him about it he said that he let his emotions get the best of him and shouldn't have done it in the moment (see more later). Dealing with him and his business delayed our move in date by a month. A prime example of communications with him will be ie - send email Monday, no reply, we follow up Wednesday, then he replies, then we respond within minutes to hours, and have to follow up again Friday for an update. We were going to try to make it work with him - since he did our floors for another property many years ago and went without hiccup. He emailed us (this is copy and pasted: " I made a mistake deleting that estimate, I started again and I'm not able to overcome my emotions. Sorry I can't do your floors. There are good companies on Yelp.com or Angi.com with trustful reviews. We can do painting for you after the floors are done" I would recommend this business if you are ok dealing with this unprofessionalism and childlike behavior As soon as we moved onto quotes from 2 other businesses, WOW night and day. Very communicative, no babysitting and having to follow up for responses, and even more - wow no complaining about having to communicate?! Bonkers. Such a horrible experience, when I really wanted to initially support an independent family business.

Reggie and his team are very professional.  They show up early and accomplish the timeline quoted. They brought our 40-year-old home into the 21st century with just paint! Our old build in wall unit looks fabulous after Reggie and his team painted it. They turned it into a wonderful focal point. It's now very chic and new,  Awesome! Their talent blending colors with seamless lines is so perfect!  They did a wonderfully complete job, painting closets inside and out as well as the trim work and doors, just beautiful. The fireplace walls had large cracks on both sides. They repaired the cracks, stripping them completely down and rebuilding them. The wall looks completely new. We couldn't be at the house, so Reggie took pictures and sent them to us every step of the way. It was like we were there without having to be there.  A problem arose when they were painting the sky lights. He noticed two were leaking. He called us immediately, and they caulked them. Of course, they will need to be replaced, but they stopped the leak until we replace them in a few months. A service above and beyond,  who does that? Hitchens Painting! Reggie responds to calls and texts within a few minutes. He and his crew sanded, primed, painted the entire interior of a 3-story whole house remodel. They fixed sloppy work that the wallboard crew had done, and carefully prepped the walls and ceilings before final paint on all 3 floors. They sanded, patched, filled, primed, re-sanded and did what it took to restore 100 year old trim molding and baseboards to near new appearance. They also painted all of the existing natural wood window sashes white and the work was meticulous. Reggie and his team weren't done until we were 100% satisfied. I'm an extreme perfectionist and needless to say hard to please, but the result was better than I could have hoped for. A pleasant surprise to find a great contractor like this. We will use Hitchens Painting for all of our future painting needs.
