Up until recently, I would never have considered boarding one of my dogs. This all changed when I…read moremet Bertha from KampK9 Hawaii. We met at a dog training class. She had with her two of her lovely little pups. My friend Daniel, the instructor of the class, whom I greatly respect and trust, later told me that KampK9 is the only place he boards his own dog. Fast forward to a few weeks ago. My gf and I were going a trip and she needed someone to watch her dog Mozzie. We decided to try KampK9 and are extremely happy we did. Bertha and her husband truly care about dogs, as is partially evidenced by the thorough question she requires Kampers to complete. Bertha provided further proof of her concern and commitment to the dog's well being when she required that she meet Mozzie to make sure Mozzie was comfortable with her and her dog Julius. After we dropped Mozzie off, Bertha sent daily (sometimes more often) updates including photos and video. She also posted videos and pics on social media. It was clear from the texts and videos that Mozzie had an absolute blast with KampK9. KampK9 offered her a veritable Toys R Us of dog toys with which to play. More importantly, Mozzie played all day with Bertha's dog Julius along with another similarly sized Kamper Kevin. Watching the videos reassured us that Mozzie was in great hands at KampK9. In short, KampK9 cares deeply about dogs; the dog's well being is paramount to them. Now, like Daniel's dog, Mozzie will never board any where other than KampK9.

We met with them prior to setting up their stay and were impressed and relieved by the professionalism and care they put into their work. We immediately set dates up with them and ensured the required paperwork was done. During our pups stay, we received constant updates via text. Through their Facebook page we were able to see them through pictures posted daily. All in all the communication was better than we could have expected. When we returned we picked up two very happy and tired pups. Everything went great. Overall, we highly recommend Kamp K9 for your boarding needs. We will certainly use them again!

CNA Solutions was recommended to me by a friend of the owner during my search for a CNA program…read morethat wouldn't take too long as I only had a little bit of time to spare to pursue this goal due to uncertainty of what the future held for me between July and October. The owners, Gary and his wife, Anna, both have amazing heart for healthcare and are both active in the field. Gary is very accommodating and works with you to figure out what the best course would be for you whether you take the accelerated day course which is 2.5 weeks or the night course which is 4 weeks. At first I was hesitant and many unexpected life changes happened that I couldn't attend in his original August cohort when I got the courage to pursue this goal. So I ended up in his September cohort. And I truly believe God himself wanted me to join the September cohort because even though I was afraid to go back and give it a try after not being available in August when I had planned to join, I finally went through with it and showed up on the first day of class and had the honor and pleasure of meeting and working with the most amazing people from all walks of life. You not only gain classmates, you gain friendships for life, and potential coworkers as you all pursue different goals for taking the class. We even made ourselves a YouTube page for our class so we can reference all our training videos we recorded in class so we can reference them when studying for the prometric exam. Whether you're in pre-nursing, opening your own care home, working at a facility already, or simply learning how to best help provide care for a loved one, I promise you will not leave this class empty handed or doubting your own ability. You will learn what it takes to do your job well, the right way, and have a newfound appreciation for everyone you encounter in this line of work. We made lifelong friendships and learned the amount of heart and compassion it takes to do this line of work. While some people may view it as "just entry level" work, you matter just like everyone else in the healthcare industry. I personally will be eternally grateful to Gary and Anna's CNA school for giving me a chance when I was too afraid thinking it's too late to give myself that chance. Gary is a genuinely caring soul and wants to see everyone succeed. He even opens his doors to allow you to train for the prometric exam before your exam date so you can take your skills test with absolute confidence and pass on the first try. He takes care of his facility on his own as well so be respectful of his property and clean up after yourselves lol. He does all his own linen/towel washing too so be mindful when using his supplies. Gary and Anna, thank you so much for opening your doors and hearts to teach us how to be successful CNAs. I am grateful for the opportunity to have learned from you and helping me see other doors opening to many possibilities for the future, no matter what they may be. You helped open a path for me that had been blocked for years until now. Mahalo nui loa, Christina
