One week and hundreds of dollars later a single heating issue remains. Being new in town and not…read moreseeing many reviews on shops around Storm Lake I decided to bring my car in to have a heater issue looked at on my 87 accord. Heater core valve was stuck and simply needed to be unstuck. The staff was very short and not very welcoming but that's the usual it seems with these mom and pa shops around here. After calling a few times during the week, only to be told that it wasn't ready and "we'll call you back", I finally got a call to come pick up my car. As winter was approaching I was excited that this vehicle was going to blow warm air. Boy was I wrong. The tech gave me a rundown of the work that had been done and went on to show me that indeed the heater was working, but only about 30% of it and he said as the car warms up more the heater should get warmer. Never did it get warmer. It only got worse. The car blew semi warm air for a minute at the shop and from the same night and on it feels like the AC is on at all times. Seems like I left the shop in worse shape. Wouldn't recommend.

With the death of my son who was an excellent automotive repair tech i needed to find another shop…read morewhere i felt confident that my car would be taken care of. Miller Auto was recommended to me by a few people in this little town in Iowa. Had problems with brakes and everything connected. Took my car to Miller's and they worked with me. Getting parts for my car is not an easy venture. It took about 4 weeks of getting the wrong parts before we finally got the right parts. Like I said, when you own a car like mine and the nearest dealer is a 4 hour drive away and you have to deal with parts shops in the nearby towns it can be almost impossible. Anyway the job was done to perfection, don't think a dealer's shop could have done any better. The service here is better than I ever got at the dealership in Ca. Price? You ask? Decent, very decent. I have my son's truck which is in need of repair and i will trust Miller Auto to take care of it for me. This place is definitely a, 5 thumbs up This place of business was also called Plymouth County Tire.

I am not a cycle addict, but love Hondas and always consider Storm Lake Honda as "my" cycle store…read more Most recently I took my 4-wheeler in for repair and service and picked it up today. Jerry of the service department is the best! Great help unloading and today loading my machine onto my little trailer. I was sort of expecting a proposal to trade/upgrade my old 4-wheeler today, since I had inquired about that last week. Guess I will have to wait and spend my money another day, haha. That said, when I get serious about buying something new(er), this is the first place I will go. I have always been treated right here with purchases and service in the past. And I really like their new store. Thank you!

Storm Lake Honda is an absolutely fabulous place to purchase a motorcycle. Once I had decided on…read morepurchasing a left-over 2018 Honda Gold Wing Tour Airbag model, I went searching for where to purchase the motorcycle. I found Storm Lake Honda on CycleTrader and their pricing was good (although there were a few priced lower). However, the reviews for the couple of dealers with lower prices were all very poor. Lots of 1-2 star reviews. I knew from past experience, that those types of dealerships were not worth my time; and you cannot trust their advertised prices! When I looked at the reviews for Storm Lake Honda, there were lots of 4-5 star reviews and many positive comments. I called Storm Lake Honda and was connected with Nick. He answered my questions and told me the price was the advertised price plus the shipping fee they are charged by Honda. I told Nick I would think about it. Called Nick the next day and did the deal. He emailed me a purchase order for the agreed upon price. I made flight arrangements to fly into Des Moines and Nick arranged for someone to pick me up at the airport. When I arrived at the airport I waited for 2 minutes before the owner of Storm Lake Honda (Larry) picked me up. Larry then drove me to Storm Lake, IA. The next morning I met Nick at the dealership. I signed one piece of paper, which was a copy of the purchase order Nick had emailed me earlier, and I was on my way 15 minutes after I got to the dealership. The Gold Wing was great for the 1,400 mile ride home. I love the motorcycle and would happily travel to Storm Lake Honda in the future to purchase another motorcycle. John

I've been to so many places and couldn't find fresh cheap sushi anywhere. So I was in Monroeville…read moreshopping and came across Taipei- Tokyo. We walked in and I was not wowed by the decor but the staff was friendly enough, we had a sit and started ordering. The sushi menu was great for a first timer since they break down what's in every roll. So no wasted money on something you don't like. That was a huge plus. Our rolls arrived and they were perfect I got the spicy crunch tuna, spider roll and my friend got the pink lady roll. The bill was under 40$ and we were both delightfully surprised how fresh and delicious this sushi was since this restaurant is in a shopping plaza. Eight years I've been introducing people to this little hidden treasure and my own mother started to eat sushi because of this place . I hope you read this and go cause you will not be disappointed in anything you get off the menu.

The prices on the website were $100 cheaper than the posted prices, but the owner failed to tell us that when we booked the boat rental. Next time I'll go to Okoboji where they understand how to run a rental operation.
