The plastic nipple that connects the coolant hose from the radiator to the engine block broke off spewing ethylene glycol everywhere under the hood. I immediately took out my phone and started looking for a repair shop in Storm Lake...the closest big town. I gave A&A Automotive a call and spoke with Gene. While on the phone, Gene check with several parts distributors close by. I was thinking, "Better get a room for a night or 2. Where are they going to find a radiator for a 2014 Subaru Outback nearby? Oh, and kiss those Liberty Bowl tickets goodbye!" Gene came back on the line an told me he found a radiator In Storm Lake! He gave me contact info for a towing outfit (props to Tyson at Storm Lake Towing!) The car was towed to A&A and 3 HOURS LATER we were back on the road! Amazing!!!! And, reasonably priced, too! Thanks to Gene, Nate and Adam at A&A Automotive for making a bad situation the best. BTW, made it to the game. Unfortunately the Clones lost. 5 stars!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I took my wife's Honda Accord in for an oil change and specifically pointed out to the service mgr…read more that the engine only took 4.5qts of oil...not five. I said charge me for five but only put 4.5qts in the engine. I even put a piece of masking tape on the fill cap that said 4.5qts! I got the car home and let sit for two hours and the oil level is 5/8" over the full mark...you guessed it, they put in 5 qts. Now that much overfill is nothing to a larger engine but the Honda techs tell me that amount of overfill oil will foam and foul their small 4 cylinder engines and to drain immediately. I won't return to this dealership with my car or trucks.
