Best pub in the west end friendly clean affordable and Shannon is outstanding defently 5 star

Went to watch hockey with some friends. Great ambiance for game night. When the oilers scored. Was so fun our server has a blow horn. However the soup tasted like flour. The bacon was a nice touch but where was the cheddar cheese. The house mouse must have taken it. My friend had meat pizza looked good on thin crust. I will watch playoffs at this pub lots of fun. Ordered through Skip The Dishes. Was a busy Saturday night, we were warned it may take a little longer to get our order but we got it in a timely manner. Ordered a basic pepperoni, bacon & mushroom and it was good. Also ordered their Spicy Donair... it was not. Huge chunks of tomatoes, overwhelmed the slices; the nearly none existent slivers of donair meat were far from spicey. Would order again; but would be careful in what we ordered. read more

It has been a long day and we really did not feel like going out to eat anymore. So we called Skip the Dishes to order some delivery. We ordered a calamari and chicken wings with mango chili sauce. When we received it, the container was already on its side and when I opened it, all the ranch ( not mango chili) sauce was spilled all over the small and very dry wings. We were hungry so we began to eat the calamari....and discovered that the lives of dough were actually the legs...We contacted Skip the Dishes to let them know what had happened....we were told that that's how they make their calamari ....and the tiny and dry wings? Well, they are always tiny so they put more in it...The saving grace was that they used Skip the Dishes as their delivery service....:( read more

A good place to go for some beer and wings after a long day at work. They do take reservations and I have been there several times with co-workers. Every time we go as a big group, the owner gives us a free shot for everyone to end the night. He also encourages the ladies to come on other weekdays by free drinks, plus he is a really friendly and nice guy. The cheapest wing night is on Thursday night for 15 cents each. So with a plate of ten wings and a beer it usually comes out to $7. The only thing I dislike about this place is the area it is located. One of my co-workers went outside to get something from her car once and was asked by some men if she had weed on her. lol! But overall for cheap wings, you can't go wrong. I love this place!!! Food is very good and different. Not only do they have pizza, they have everything from subs, pasta, appetizers; you name it they got it. I recently ordered a Alfredo pizza and the honey mustard chicken burger. The pizza had bacon and onion and chicken, honestly one of the best pizzas Ive had. My burger was moist and had the best flavour. I love saucy stuff and that was perfect. I recommend this place to anyone that loves to eat good pub style food. Sweet little spot, definitely a "gem of the hood". The exterior is insultingly plain yet the interior is invitingly warm :) Tons of room with plenty TVs,Vlt's and pool tables. Very friendly staff, though my waitress was a bit slow. Very friendly barman and fantastic wings, @ 30c a piece!!! When a sandwich is described as "chicken breast," I expect a grilled chicken breast, not a chicken PATTY - not the same at all. The beef enchilada was more like a "hint-of-beef" enchilada. No thanks. I love their taco shell pizza! It feels like a welcoming bar, even though I don't drink alcohol. Their delivery doesn't start until 5 PM but their food is really good, in good weather it's a great place to hang out and have a meal. I don't enjoy the sports that they usually show but the TVs are nice. :) read more

I will NEVER recommend this place if you are trying out their 15 cents/wing. The thinnest chicken wings I've ever seen in my whole life. Billboard in front says 15 cents/wing on Thursdays, sounds interesting right!?? But there's a catch! If you will not order more aside from the wings and you only requested for an iced water, guess what!!? After you finished eating your 1st order of 13 pieces of malnourished wings and you are still craving for more, they will not allow you to order for another round. I just don't get it. Poor waitress she had to explained to me what the management wanted. This made me pay my bill right away and leave. I will NEVER come back to this bar/pub. read more
