The food was alright, not amazing, I had fish and sweet potato fries, and my husband had a curry bowl. I didn't like the drink I ordered and I actually sent it back. But my husband discovered his new favourite non-alcoholic beer, which we now buy frequently. All in an all pretty good experience.

The had a lunch lasagne deal for 10 dollars and I felt like I should get that. Hubby chose the cheeseburger and fries again. Server was friendly and helpful. She also pointed out the lunch deals. Wasn't super impressed of the atmosphere. It had a lot of TVs and was non committal to either a pub or a sports bar. However the music was not loud (maybe it helped that we came during lunchtime). Food came quickly and was hot any yummy. My lunch size lasagne was perfect and full of melty bubbly cheese. My only complaint was the garlic toast, way too salty. Hubby really enjoyed his burger and fries again. Good pub, and friendly. Looks like it is full of regulars. Not in our area, or I might have become one.

Review: Time Out Pub - South Edmonton…read more Tucked away in a residential area near Argyle on the south side of Edmonton, Time Out is a hidden gem of a sports pub. It's not far out of the way and just a cheap Uber ride for a great night out. The vibe is laid-back, the drinks are cheap, and the pool tables are even cheaper. The pub food is fantastic--honestly, they might have the best nachos in Edmonton. Great spot to catch a game, shoot some pool, and enjoy solid comfort food without breaking the bank. A no-frills, feel-good kind of place that's definitely worth checking out.

Even…read morethough it was later, there was still a good amount of tables seemingly chatting away with mostly ordering drinks and some with food as well. However, there were still several tables available though for a quick seating. Though we got sat pretty quickly, we didn't put in our food orders until 15 minutes later after we had been sat. Initially, our server came to check up on us the first time after 5 minutes but didn't show up again until the 15 minute mark to take our order. Our orders itself took roughly 45 minutes to come out and we were not checked up on during this time. When the food itself came, most of the food was just slightly above room temperature and not hot. This experience made us feel like we were eating because we were hungry but not because we enjoyed the food. It was also disappointing as well since the prices here are definitely pricier but didn't reflect in the quality of food and service. The ambiance of the restaurant is dark and trendy making it seem like a go to place for people to come for drinks. It seems like this is a better place to come to chat and drink with friends than really get a quality meal.

We recently went to The Canadian Brewhouse and ordered the CBH donair with brisket poutine, the…read morebuffalo chicken wrap, cracked black pepper and sea salt dry ribs, and two orders of hot wings. The CBH donair was honestly really good. The meat was super tender and full of flavour, and the wrap itself came together really well. The buffalo chicken wrap was also a standout -- perfectly cooked, really flavourful, and not overly spicy which I appreciated. The dry ribs were a classic. Nothing super unique, but still very tasty and well seasoned. Same with the hot wings -- no complaints there, just a solid, classic wing. The only disappointment food-wise was the brisket poutine. It was a little sad and felt quite dry, like the elements didn't really come together the way a good poutine should. Unfortunately, we also found a small piece of a broken toothpick in the poutine, which could have been really bad if it hadn't been noticed. That said, the staff handled it really well. Our server was very kind and quick to address the issue. She checked in regularly and still managed to have a friendly chat with us even while the place was busy. The manager, Ethan, was also very apologetic and handled the situation professionally. He even took one of our wing orders off the bill so we only had to pay for one, which we appreciated. As for the atmosphere, the decor is definitely a bit dated. The tables have visible wear marks and the carpet looks pretty used. But it still has that classic sports bar vibe, and there's lots to look at around the restaurant which adds to the atmosphere. Overall, despite the hiccup with the poutine, the service was great and most of the food was really enjoyable. I'd definitely come back for the donair and wraps.

I wish the menu specified the patties are smash patties and VERY small so even though it says 2 it tastes like no more meat than 1 normal patty. Friend said he did not get this burger cause he thought it would be too much protein and more like 1/4 lb of beef. Patties were cooked great, flavor was good, bun was good. Sesame brown rice this time was underwhelming, not enough sesame sauce so rice was very bland. Broccolini was a side available (not on the online menu) and was cooked perfectly. Boyfriend got same burger but with crinkle fries and Cesear salad. Salad was meh but fries were so fresh and cooked perfectly. Overall food was really good and patio was great.

We were waiting for someone who would take a couple minutes longer, so the server got us beverages and then would come back when our third arrived. Another server came by to ask if our third would like a drink. Once the food made it to us, the food was decent, but when you have to return to work, you hope that a lunch will move at least at an average pace. We had a couple different servers check on us- so overall it seemed like folks weren't sure who the table belonged to.
