This is a fun gay bar in Ybor, we watched the drag show and then danced a bit on the dance floor. Some of the song choices were not the best, but overall a fun place with decently strong drinks at a reasonable price. Cover was only $5 to get in, which is cheaper than a lot of clubs in the area. My service was outstanding until my credit limits became obscene in overcharges and a heated overheard conversation with a bartender charging me for his friends drink's then saying that he was going to cash me out when I overheard the conversation. I challenged the owner in that your cameras do not substantiate the egregious charges and if I contested all charges you would be out a lot of money? read more

I absolutely love coming to Bradley's. I can only attend on Thursday's with my friends since I'm 19 but it's always a blast. Security and staff is extremely friendly (besides 1 bouncer) and Amy is an absolutely gem and I always enjoy getting to watch them perform. The bartenders are always very sweet even though I can only attest to getting waters from them so I can't speak on other drinks for them. The only reason I am taking off a star is for the following reasons. The strip show on Thursdays only allows men to compete which I think is not very inclusive taking out half the population's eligibility especially as an lgbt establishment, they also have no female gogo dancers. Last side note is that they have a Sunday drag competition that is 21+ and it's just really frustrating that I'm not allowed to compete because there's very few stages that will allow me to perform at 19 and I have to advocate so hard for myself. I'm not sure whose decision this is but I would love to speak to them to see if there's any possibility of this rule being changed. In conclusion I absolutely love this place and can't wait to keep coming back. read more

Bradley's is a good sized gay bar but also a somewhat grungy looking gay bar. However that sort of fits in with the grunginess of what is Tampa's Ybor City. They have a pretty effective bouncer at the door to check ID though his efforts are in fact more directed at keeping the riff raff, those high on drugs and those who are already intoxicated out. And if you know Ybor at night, it has plenty of those types. Bradley's has happy hours every day until 9:00pm on everything except top shelf, theme nights most every night of the week like a Monday Madness wherein the happy hour extends through the night, a shot and beer night on Wednesdays, a $200 cash strip (they don't go all the way) contest on Thursdays and entertainment shows on Fridays and Saturdays. I haven't seen their entertainment but have heard it is pretty good though mostly of some rather comic drag divas. The atmosphere was super fun and easy-going. Everyone was super nice. It was a little bit overcrowded because of pride, and they didn't seem to filter the number of people allowed in. I enjoyed the energy and music of the bar.(light up trees were a great touch). I would suggest getting there early if you would like to see the show. Dancing at 10:30 p.m. on a Saturday, yes, please. My friend and I are sitting at the bar next to Hamburger Mary's and we want to go dancing. I only know the big name club - the Honeypot - so I turn to my neighbor and politely tap him on the shoulder. "Excuse me, where should we go if we want to dance?" Mind you, it's only 10:30 p.m., which is relatively early for the club scene. My neighbor looks me dead in the eye and says Bradley's. I've never heard of it before so I throw out the one club name I know - the Honeypot. With a raised eyebrow he tells me that nobody goes to the Honeypot before midnight. If I want to dance now, it will have to be Bradley's. I'm sold. My friend and I walk into Bradley's and it seems to be moderately full, but not the club I was expecting. Randomly, there is a stream (yes a stream) running through the bar. Of course, when I sign my receipt I place it directly in the water. Whoops! We're standing at a table when a man walks up to befriend us, because he's lost his friend. He quickly informs us that we are on the WRONG SIDE. If you snake around the back, you will find the dancing! You'll know it when you see it because there is a huge sign that says DIVAS DANCE! (I would upload a picture, but nobody wants to see me dancing in front of a sign.) We follow the Divas Dance arrow and boom! There are a ton of divas dancing! It is packed, it is loud, it is crowded, and it is fun! There are men in thongs dancing on little stages and everyone is having a great time. It may have taken two separate people to direct these two clueless girls to where they could dance at 10:30 p.m. on a Saturday, but the payoff was great. This is my favorite bar so far. I enjoy the chill and welcoming atmosphere. A lot of men my age and older. It has a pool table and a dance floor on a corner. A nice patio area for the smokers or for those who want to enjoy the view of every passing eye candy. I have never written a yelp review good or bad before. But after my experience last night, it felt like it was necessary. First off- the vibe was great with awesome music and a good crowd. Very disappointing to share that the bartender and apparent manger were what killed the vibe. My cousin was at the bar and ordered a round of drinks. After getting her tab, I went behind and ordered 4 shots. My cousin paid her tab and I was given my shots. When trying to close my tab, I was charged $131 for 4 shots. I told the bartender and I was legit yelled at. Not yelling in the way that he was trying to talk over the music. No, yelled at. He was attempting to double charge me to the drinks my cousin ordered and paid for. I could see him angrily talking to someone at the register and that's when the so called manger came over. Saying that this was the charge for my order. He wouldn't even let me explain that my cousin paid for her drinks. He kept saying this was the charge for our drinks. I tried to talk saying that I only ordered 4 shots. After rolling his eyes and I think saying whatever. He brought me a new tab for 47 dollars. Being new to the Tampa area, this was the first gay bar that I visited during my times researching the area for my move. I honestly can say, I haven't had a bad time yet! It's great to see a place that has a mixed crowd of people and you can meet cool people of different cliques. There are several bars, which makes getting a drink a non-battle of squeezing through groups of your fellow gays. The drag shows are always a riot and the dance floors are roomy and not over crowded. Heed my warning about the dreaded "Sink or Swim". All you can drink for $12 will leave you quite impaired for your Uber ride home. Be nice to your Uber driver...they are your post-Sink or Swim friend. Oh, and any place that doesn't charge a cover gets several stars in my book! read more

I have now been to Bradley's on 7th on three different occasions and I have to say that in Tampa this is my favorite bar to go out to. No matter if your gay, bi, straight, or trans you will have a great time by going to this place. On each occasion I was that out-of-towner and each time I felt as if I was a local by how the staff treated me and how the other patrons welcomed others. I want to say how awesome the inside of this bar is. When you walk in they have a three bar areas. First bar area is a long bar, the second is a bar in the back of the main room and the third is in the dance area. The bars are freaking awesome! They have a running river that moves from the top of the bar to the bottom and its cold water inside of it! I loved just going to look at the bar. They also have a big tree in the bar area. I am surprised this place is called Bradley's as it could be called jungle bar or something like that. The drinks here are pretty darn good! They make whatever you want and the prices are pretty cheap. Recently I got two mixed drinks with top shelf tequila and then two shots of fireball and it was $20. That was not a bad price to pay at all. When you go in the dance area be warned they have men who I guess are gogo dancers who are in nothing but either a jock strap or really short under ware dancing on the bar and on steps and other areas. You can tip these guys buy putting a dollar or more in their undies and as I saw when most guys put a dollar in they touched the dancers private areas a lot. To each there own and everyone has got to make a living somehow! They had a fun small drag show the night I was there. There were only 3 queens and they each performed 1 song. It was fun to see and they were very entertaining. Reasons for not 5 stars is the fact they let people smoke inside the bar and not just on the patio. It's 2018 and people should have to smoke outside. Also the music is really really loud and its hard to talk to whomever your with. Over all a great place to go to! I will for sure go back! So few gay clubs available in current times and they focus on Ybor CIty. The club seems too much the image of an 80 s version of a nightclub. How much better the club could do with a facelift...more upscale current ambience. The bar could be so wonderful with a total upgrade. The sound system upgrade would focus so much more on the music. But, focusing on the music the DJs are not good...dont know where their catalogue is from...there are currently wonderful remixes out there. Take an example of Glitterbox...Ibiza...the club could put Tampa on the map...make it and international destination. A total facelift. The drag shows could be the example. At a time when they need to be. Bring back the choreographers. Choreographed drag shows. Todays youth have never experienced one...a version of Cabaret. Drag performers who just come out and lipsyncing and thats it...with a few curse words thrown in for fun. Throw away the atitude and make the club and example of what club fun in this decade can be. Not to mention the men dancers. I knew one of the old Angels owners and he didnt even care for those type of men. Still, he hired hot dancers that brought in the crowds. But, the dancers are bad at best. Bring in some college boys who are pumping. Hot male dancers. I hate to say some are really bad and probably brag they dance in a nightclub. It would be nice to just enjoy a night out ..with great music from a great sound system...and some eye candy dancing for you wouldnt hurt. read more

So much fun! I love that there is no cover too. The vibe is super chill and fun, with a spacious bar right as you walk in and another room off to the side with dancers and a dance floor. The drinks were good and cheap - around $6 for a cocktail and the bartenders were all very sweet and pleasant to deal with. The dancers were fun! Of course, being a gay bar, there were 99% men here and I was often the only female in the bar. I would definitely encourage more women to come here since I still felt very welcomed in this environment! read more

Getting rid of Theresa is a mistake, the community supports and stands behind her, and by default the bar. You should respectfully reconsider that decision to let her go. Not for anything I do prefer a gay bar because guys generally aren't going to try to "hook up" with the women. Me and my friend did encounter 2 perverted men. Great Happy Hour Bartender! I love coming in on a weekday after work to get a drink from Raymond! This is definitely the more neutral places to go out of the LGBT clubs/bars. Never had any issues here other than me being too drunk and having to be escorted out so I didn't drink anymore but hey! The security was so nice and got me water and made sure I was okay before walking away. I feel a sense of community here. Highly recommend it. This is definitely not like Honey Pot, but a more mature crowd. read more

If anyone really knows me, you know that I #1 work very hard, #2 love technology, and #3 do not usually indulge in spending on myself. Last year, I worked a ton of overtime and treated myself buying a Nintendo Switch, games, and many accessories. I carried it everywhere for almost a year.. In its own bag as it was my favorite thing... The day after the Flirt reunion, we were passing by Bradley's and I asked to stop there (My fault, as I was told that on many occasions people have been overcharged or have things missing). When we left, I realized that my switch, case, and games were missing. We called Bradley's and the bartender immediately (As well as a few patrons). Without any result, we placed calls every day and left messages to revue video footage.. No Response.. After 2 weeks of no response, I asked the person, (who was with me that night) to make a police report so the camera footage could be reviewed. That person is now banned for life from your bar for reporting for me. Once called, they went to Bradley's and were told that the cameras are only backed up for ten days.. I really do like this place, I come here with my friends often on the weekends, however, my complaint is in regards to the heavy bartender with glasses. He's very rude, unprofessional and ill mannered. Tonight, I had the hiccups and he refused to give me some water and made inappropriate comments because my friend tipped him 1$ on 5$ (20%). "Maybe id I've you water if you tipped more than $1". I made a comment back and he was like "honey I'm not even talking to you I'm talking to your friend but have fun with your hiccups." He then proceeded to rip the napkins from under our drinks and throw them away." This isn't the first time he's made a snarky comment regarding tips . Very unprofessional, and has 0 social skills. I knew we were going to have a relaxed evening just by how friendly the bouncer was to us out-of-towners. The vibe is friendly and relaxed, the drinks are cheap, there's no cover, and they put on a pretty solid drag show. We had fun hanging out on the front patio watching everyone else stand in line waiting to get into the overpriced parties across the street, and there's never a lack of people watching in Ybor on New Years.
