I would especially like to thank Molly, David, and Kylie for their outstanding care and compassion during my stay. I wish I could remember everyone's name that was involved in my care but sadly the stroke robbed me of those. Without their care I would not be able to type this. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart! Gene

If you or your loved one need a place to get better, let me share this new local gem with you. It's…read morebrand new, state-of-the art, with cutting edge technology and beautiful rooms and common areas. My dad spent the summer in ICU, the hospital, and then skilled nursing. We were just hoping to get him to a great rehabilitation facility and get him better enough to come home. We reached out to Brooke at this facility and she worked hard to find him an available bed and get it approved by insurance and Medicare. I started calling her on Monday, and by Monday afternoon she had gotten it all set up, including the required medical transport. She made it so easy and smooth. That was the beginning of our contact with the staff there, and every other interaction has been similar. Smart, capable people who want to make a difference. Since my dad has arrived here (and he's only been here for two days) he is already like a different person. He is clear-headed, eating better thanks to the wonderful food here. He's had a series of increasingly uncomfortable beds all summer; the first text he sent me after his first night here was: "Bed fabulous, slept great, breakfast incredible." I felt like that was the start of a new beginning for my dad. As far as facilities go, it's increible. The huge PT gym is full of brand-new, high-end equipment. There is speech therapy and occupational therapy in addition to PT. My dad is busy from 9A-11:30A and then from 1P-5:30P, all in the name of getting better. Two different doctors came to visit yesterday evening, in addition to a litany of nurses, therapists, aides, and techs. I can't remember the last time he had this many people checking on him, following up, and taking care of him. Honestly, it was probably in ICU. This place has set the bar for me, and for all my loved ones. I will now not be able to accept anything less. Thank you to Brooke for getting us in, and thank you to the entire team helping my dad get better. We are ready to have him home!

Dana Tramba…read more Touchmark has been our home for three years. I am living a retirement dream. We are active seniors and live in a home with a two-car garage. Currently, I take part in outside community activities. Our Life Enrichment team also has a variety of activities scheduled on-site throughout the day. Touchmark supplies yard work, home maintenance, and weekly housekeeping. I just look at the menu at mealtime and decide what I want to eat. Our chef is wonderful. No more grocery shopping or cooking. The high school and college kids that serve us are like grandchildren you get to see every day. The health and fitness director will assess you and find an exercise class that will enhance your health. Friends gather and visit the Pub in the evenings. It is wonderful to know all my neighbors and live where we feel safe. Touchmark is a great place to spend this season of my life.

I feel like we are benefiting from the rewards of working hard all our lives. I wondered before we moved if I was too young to live in a retirement community. But I love it and happy I found a place close to family where I can spend the last chapter of my life without moving again. The meals are wonderful. The Pitzner landscape crew keeps the grounds immaculate. Grass mowed, snow shoveled and planting seasonal flowers and hanging Christmas Lights. Very friendly. The staff is courteous and quickly knows and greets you by name. The chef's cook delicious meals. Neighbors are friendly even though I only see their eyes and a mask. We have felt safe living here with all the Covid. They have been very cautious. Can hardly wait until this pandemic comes to an end so we can fully enjoy our new community and family can visit. If you're looking for the worst of the worst, Integris is the place for you…read more I'll try to keep this reasonably short. I was taken by ambulance to INTEGRIS Health Edmond Hospital for a major heart attack, a "widow maker", where I coded while in the emergency room. The cardiologist did save my life with two stents, but that's the only saving grace for this hospital. A few hours after the event I asked one of the doctors what I could take instead of my arthritis meds, which were off the table now due to having to take blood thinners, and he said "just take more aspirin". If that was supposed to be a joke, it was not funny in the slightest. "More aspirin" is the last thing you'd want to take unless of course you'd like to bleed out internally. During that same event a nurse told me that the tiny off-white globs in my blood sample were cholesterol. Well, I'm pretty effing sure they're not or I'd be dead of stroked out and likely a vegetable or life support. Those "globs" were likely pieces of subcutaneous fat that were getting into the samples due to yet another poorly placed catheter. Rather than redo the poorly place catheter which caused the nurse to have to massage blood samples out of my arm (for the love of all things holy), she just continued to do the same thing that caused much pain and a massive hematoma (bruise). Just what one needs when on high doses of blood thinners. That's just the tip of the iceberg. I was under the Integris care umbrella of uncaring quacks for almost three years. Shame on me for not exiting the poisonous ecosystem earlier. Also, I filed a concern with Integris over 7 months ago and have yet to receive a response.
