I find they are more focused on their machines and do not attempt to correct your posture, they just want to make a perceptual cash machine out of your wallet. Well, I did not find that experience here. What I found was a true expert who could adjust my upper back (which has strong muscles from heavy lifting) with ease. The Chiropractor focused on my back and used techniques to see how I was, not the fake xrays that always are meant to create doom and gloom to scare you into a subscription. Actually, the price is very reasonable because they do not have to pay for gimmicks! He truly cares and has passion for his work. it is rare to find a good Chiropractor. Acupuncture originated in China and has been around for a long time (more than 3,000 years). It is supported by medical evidence too; a NIH-funded research indicated such treatment was effective in treating migraines, arthritis, and chronic pain. The surgery itself went fine afterwards it took about a week longer than I was expecting to get back to work. My main complaint is that after spending all that money and going through all the agony of recovery I got zero results. My neck looks exactly the same as it did before the surgery very disappointing. I would not recommend. Although Dr. Sullivan Offered me spa memberships to try to compensate, I decided to waive that because of my lack of trust. No other options were provided to me when I had the neck surgery other than a mini facelift which did not work. If you want a neck lift go elsewhere.

Nonetheless, the services I receive by Joy Ellis-George and her entire practice deserve accolades. Mrs. Ellis-George is very accessible, always responsive, extremely helpful, spot-on accurate, and takes the time to learn and listen to her patient. What I really like is her partnership throughout your care. She works hand-in-hand with her patients to arrive at the best path forward for care. I've had the run-of-the-mill psychiatrists--you know, the one's that ask the same questions on every visit, modify your meds, if applicable, and then send you on your way after 10mins. Mrs. Ellis-George goes beyond your PHQ and/or standard questionnaires, etc., to understand your concerns and underlying issues. Once she took over my care (after leaving another practice), it resulted in a great improvement in my quality of life. Mrs. Ellis-George is culturally competent, has compassionate bedside manner, very thorough in her assessment, and I have never found someone in the psychiatry field that even compares to her. I am so grateful to have come across her practice. Side-note: I first learned of the practice via psychology today. I scheduled an appointment with front desk, and I specifically asked for a télé appointment. Was never told that I needed to be there in person. On the day of the appointment when I called the office and was informed of their policy. I agreed to reschedule a visit for another day IN PERSON. The "manager" called me a few minutes later with a nasty attitude and was very rude and disrespectful. I had to ask her if "that's how they do customer service?" She slammed the phone down and the other associate had to answer the phone and communicate what she was failing to communicate. After the conversation I informed the associate that I did not have an issue with the policy that I was just made aware of, and I would be in for my appointment and the call ended. Few minutes later the associate call me to inform me that my appointment was cancelled and I'm no longer a patient. The office was working on documents for my employer to which I have been very patient and understanding, for them to waste a whole month of services that I could have received somewhere else is the utmost disrespectful and abusive thing they could have done. This is not the place to seek help, they are not helpful. It's just a bunch of people that are not trying to do their jobs with poor communication skills and nasty behaviors. Fast forward Dr. J took VERY good care of me and thru the treatments I received my known issues were corrected and my unknown issues were resolved and I didn't have to have back surgery. To this day after a serious back injury on my job, Dr. Ro picked up where Dr D left off and EVERY time I go for a treatment I get such great relief. And to top it off the service, courtesy and professionalism hasn't changed. I referred a few people and they were happy with the service they received. One of the best decisions I made to go there.
