Dr. Gray is pleasant and his adjustments are similar to other chiropractors I have seen in the past. The decompression was an excellent treatment and I think had a big impact on my low back pain. My pain was cut about in half after two months and I was pleased, but sadly my health insurance(United HC) was not. They denied further treatment based on what they considered a plateau in my improvement. I appealed the decision and my insurance requested a peer to peer conversation with Dr. Gray. Dr. Gray refused to participate in this conversation. Basically, he stated that it was not a good use of his time. I was extremely disappointed that after two months and good improvement he would not take a few minutes to advocate for me. Dr. Gray really extols the benefits of chiropractic and I agree but to not have the courtesy to try to help a regular patient that visited his office 2-3 times a week was frankly shocking. His recommendation was that I continue to attend visits but "just have to pay out of pocket". That would have been acceptable to me IF he had been willing to take a few minutes and effort to help me with my insurance issue. Very disappointing to have invested so much time and his office being paid so much money and to not be given this simple courtesy. I would say if you go here you will receive pleasant staff, a typical chiropractic adjustment and ask for the decompression table if you have insurance or can afford to pay.

After consulting with him, he captured an x-ray of the area and the problem was visible if not obvious. He applied a variety of "stretch & crack" techniques to reduce pain and increase mobility. After 3-4 sessions the pain was drastically reduced, including when sitting in uncomfortable positions that would otherwise be almost unbearable. My main mistake is not regularly seeing him professionally, as the issue returns after high intensity activities if I do not do so.
