We had some communication with Shyy, who was polite and professional over the phone. We traveled 2 hours to check out the vehicle and met Shyy in person and we were impressed with his forthrightness. When I had questions about the vehicle, he and his supervisor produced documents to back up their position. We left the business with our vehicle and the feeling that we had been treated fairly. I would definitely do business with Button again.

She was either incompetent or a really bad A.I. robot, I could not tell which. After two non-responsive emails from Vinessa, I gave up and was done. I then got an email from Brian, the sales manager, asking if I got the information I needed. You can imagine my response to Brian. I was then contacted by Ryan Olsen who was my salesman through the rest of the process. Ryan was great. The best car salesman I have ever worked with. Most car salesmen fake caring about you, but Ryan really does care, not only through the sale, but with some issues that came up after the sale. Most dealerships these days try to pressure you or trick you into getting extra cost add-ons that you don't want and don't need. This was not the case with Button. I would be happy to do business with them again, especially if Ryan was my salesman.

Went to Kokomo Auto World with a preapproval from Capital One to purchase a new vehicle. We were…read moretold the vehicle we were interested in was being used as the shuttle and eventually took it for a test drive. We decided we wanted to purchase the 2024 Honda Odyssey. Took another three hours to get down to how much the payment would be, explain MULTIPLE times that we did NOT want the extended warranty and that we were, at that point, short on time. We ended up haggling over less than $1000 and asked for a rim to be repaired as well as a knick that was out of the dash. After three times going back and forth with our offer, the person that our sales guy kept talking to agree to our original terms after we threatened to walk. Another 20-minute wait for the finance manager to come out and again explain the options of the extended warranty, where we again said we were in a rush and that we just needed to get going with the purchase. Salesman gave us two options, said he could deliver the car to us next day and we could come back in the future to repair rim and dash, or they could hold on to it and it would be done on Wednesday. We agreed to let them hold on to it until Wednesday and expressed that we were pressed for time and Wednesday would fit our schedule. Wednesday rolls around and we hear nothing. So, at around 3 PM we call and are given the run around about being able to speak to someone who knows what's going on. Finally, speak to our sales guy, Travis, and are told they took the tire to repair and has not yet been returned. We advised that we are on the way and will take the spare if need be since we have already canceled our insurance on this current vehicle and it is now owned by the dealership. We get there and Travis went to get Nick from financing who told us that they were not be able to deliver the vehicle to us today because they cannot deliver with a spare tire. I understood that and suggested that they contact the person who took the tire to see when he would be delivering the tire back so that we can take the vehicle. Nick explained again that he would not be delivering the car today. I explained that we would be out of town on Thursday and Friday and are unable to get the van, which is why we opted to get everything done and have it delivered today. There never was a Thursday option mentioned, or we would have taken the van as is and figured out a time to bring in back. Nick sat smugly and said basically he didn't have any solution for us except he could deliver the van tomorrow, to which I explained that I would have the trade in WITH ME in another city, so not sure how that could happen. We asked his manager's name to which he responded, "there's a lot of managers here". I asked for the highest manager's name, to which he responded, "Greg" and asked me to sit down while he went to get him. I said that we were leaving, but could I have his last name, and Nick turned his back and walked away. I asked again and he didn't respond and kept walking. This dealership is the most unprofessional dealership I have ever dealt with. I cannot imagine having any kind of service done by them and I will certainly NEVER purchase another vehicle from here.

On March 23rd of 2023 my family purchased a 2012 Chevy Traverse with 115,000 miles from Adams Auto…read moreGroup in Kokomo, IN. According to our research, the main concern with this model was ensuring the timing chain was replaced at around 70,000-120,000 miles. The vehicle advertised, "BRAND NEW TIMING CHAIN!". We took every bit of money we had, $4,562 and took out a $4,000 loan from a 3rd party to pay a total of $8,562. On July 8th of 23, the vehicle lost all power (reduced power mode) then died. We had it towed to Adams to see what the issue was. Their service department declared it was the timing chain that broke and caused engine damage. They did not charge us and after a couple weeks they said they had "fixed" the bent valves and damage caused by the timing chain, and replaced the timing chain. We received the vehicle back and it had no, "check engine", light on and ran. We discovered the vehicle was leaking about half a quart of oil every other day, but could not find a leak anywhere. I took the vehicle into Adams again to see if they could fix it. They said they were sure they found the issue and needed to drill some kind of hole in a part of the engine to fix it. They charged us $300 for the service. Whatever they did, it didn't fix the issue and still was losing oil somewhere. We religiously made sure to check and add oil accordingly every time before driving the vehicle. On about March 18th, the vehicle lost all power,(reduced power mode) and died the exact same way it did when the, "BRAND NEW!", timing chain broke the first time. A week after towing the vehicle to Adams, they said the vehicle needed a new engine and was, "locked up." They said they found an engine with 105,000 miles on it for $2,000 and they would charge $3,000 for the labor to fix the vehicle. I still owe over $3,000 on the loan. I can not afford that and asked what they could do for me to trade it for something else. They offered to put only, $1,000 towards another purchase. I could not afford any of those options and opted to just have it towed home. On top of everything else, they refused to release my vehicle until I paid a $103 "Diagnostic fee". I asked for a print out of the diagnostic they ran and they were unable to produce it and admitted they didn't do anything but find out the engine wouldn't start. After doing more research, vehicles that have a timing chain break usually need a new engine because the damage done to the valves and other components can never be completely fixed and will eventually cause the engine to lock up from friction. This entire situation arose from either selling a faulty timing chain in the first place or some service error upon installing the timing chain. Please, Beware of this car lot and spending your hard earned money here.
