Just to get thru the night And go see a dentist in the morning. However right away I was told they can't give me anything for pain unless they see that I really Need it. When asking me where does it hurt. I explained to them my top and bottom were killing me. I was told they have never heard of 2 teeth Hurting at the same time. The entire time they Made me feel like I was a drug addict just wanting Drugs. I even said this several times. They finally checked my vitals and my heart rate was extreme high. Hey did a ekg. Confined it was high. Sent me to lady of lake. And $8000 later I finally got a shot for pain. Next morning. I went to the dentist. And yes 2 wisdom teeth were severely impacted and had to be removed that day. Yes that was a lot of pain and the reason why my heart rate was so high as I told the Dr. Will never go back and did not appreciate the way I was treated ....

First of all, they use Express Scripts, which was fine, but due to some computer error my prescription was never sent to my pharmacy. When I called the clinic, they said they would re-send it, but that also didn't work. I had to drive over the next day for a paper copy. Couldn't they just write it down a be done with it? No, because I'm sure they make a profit using the online system. What a hassle. Furthermore, I went in two times within a couple of weeks because I was presenting symptoms that were diagnosed as "sinus infection" and "upper respiratory issues." They failed to perform any tests, even after I expressed my concern that something else was wrong - the doctor just gave me a cortisone shot and steroids. When that did no good, I went back to my long time physician in Zachary, and immediately upon examination and a few tests, they told me I had a severe case of mono and my tonsils were in such bad shape they might have to be removed. This would have been devastating to me, as a professional vocalist! And to think, if it had been diagnosed WEEKS earlier at Bluebonnet Family Clinic, it wouldn't have gotten as bad as it did. Not only that, but I have two forms of insurance, and both were copied by the office to keep on file. MONTHS later, I get a bill saying I owe them hundreds of dollars because I had no insurance. REALLY?!?! Bottom line is - if you value your health and well-being, DO NOT go here. Go to Lake After Hours if you have to, but NOT HERE! They're more interested in making a buck off the newest technology and designer drugs than actually keeping their patients healthy.

We love Dr. Ferrell, since my daughter has been seeing her from when she was a baby! My daughter is 9 now, so it had been a while that she has been under Dr. Ferrell's care. I made a same-day appt for her and even though it took several call backs, I finally got through to a human rather than a recording. I did leave a message, but I had no idea how long they were going to take, so I just kept calling and calling until someone picked up. They are located close to the main OLOL hospital. Everyone was great at the front desk and the nurse were so sweet. I hope Dr. Ferrell will remain for awhile because there because she is a wonderful doctor. She has never tried to strong arm us do any treatment that wasn't mandatory. So, if you are looking for a pediatrician, you have come to the right review!

Finally, the Nurse Practioner (yep!) agreed to some in clinic meds and script because I insisted the medication I was on was not helping. The NP did not tell me it was not a generic and ended up being pretty expensive. I hate going to the doctor, especially an NP. But, if I do, and go to urgent care on top of that, then you can believe I needed help. Honestly feels like an expensive waste of money. I will never go back!

After 2 years of trying to be patient with these people, I've decided they're not worth my time anymore. They always have a bad attitude and are condescending. They speak to you as if you're annoying them and they have something better to do than check you in for your appointment, check your insurance, etc. I just walked out of there for the last time today and I can boldly say I will not be going back solely because of the attitude of the receptionist I spoke with. A doctors' office is where you go to get help, not to be spoken to like you're an inconvenience.

Extremely slow at sending prescriptions electronically and even slower at printing paper prescriptions. The nurse says they are sending in a prescription​ when you talk to them in the morning but they don't actually send the prescription until late in the afternoon. This is unacceptable when you have a sick child. They have miss scheduled apointments multiple times. Avoid this office if you can.
