Lane and Brandon put their team to work to make this deal happen for us. I wasn't even sure how much house we could comfortably afford until Brandon ran all our numbers. Less than two weeks after submitting my loan application we made an offer on a house in Thousand Oaks. The property had fallen out of escrow because the previous buyer's loan approval didn't come through at the last minute, so the sellers were understandably nervous about buyers coming in with financing, and of course, we were in a multiple bid situation. They called the seller's agent and assured them that our finances are solid. Our offer was selected a few hours later. I'm not going to sugar-coat and say the process was a breeze because it wasn't. With so many players from agents, lenders, brokers and escrow agents, that is just on my side as the buyer! There were some lender generated hoops to jump thru and of course new government hoops to jump through as well, but the team we had in play kept the course and made the deal happen. Brandon had to go through everything page by page with a fine-tooth comb, and every transaction out of the ordinary had to be backed up and explained. Except for signing the loan documents at the title company, and a couple of meetings, one to see the property, everything was done via email or docusign.
