Before the Sayville office opened I would go to the Wading River Office, where I have gone for years. The level of care is EXCELLENT!!! I have two children, one that is on the spectrum and the other that is 4 years old. Both of them were terrified to go to the dentist until they went to Suffolk Pediatric Dentistry. What I love most about going here is how in-tune Dr. C with his patients. He listens and answers all of their questions no matter if they are only 4 years old or 12 years old. The level of care, patience and time they have spent to make sure my children are comfortable is incredible. My daughter who is on the spectrum had so much anxiety and was so nervous, however Dr. C was able to make a connection with her and build her trust. Unlike other Dentistry's that wanted to sedate her because too much time was needed. Dr. C did the opposite and made sure she was comfortable before the procedure. He spoke to my daughter the entire time, comforting her and making her less anxious. The procedure went by so fast my daughter didn't realize it was over. Their new doctor was nice but I will never again deal with such a rude and unprofessional group of miserable people. FACT: Horizon Orthodontics are legally obligated to take the braces that they installed off of your child. When they try to persuade you otherwise and you still want them off, they will still schedule you for an appointment (after having to go there in person from blowing off my phone messages and when you show up in person, they will ask why you didn't leave a message. Ha!). Then, when you show up for your 10:30 appointment (which I wrote in my book...10:30), they will say your appointment was at 10. After they battle with you in front of your child, you show them your book that says 10:30 but then they say "you wrote it down wrong". Also, is it ethical that Horizon Orthodontics just bill YOU after they confirm that your insurance was accepted? Suggestion, give your staff some of that N2O (laughing gas) on a Friday before you fire them.
